Good welcome on arrival. Given a choice of table. Service was friendly, prompt, but not rushed. Food was very good. The ambience of the entire restaurant was very delightful. I can recommend it.

Like the fact that they change the early evening menus monthly. Nice comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. Always pleasant to eat there so one of our frequent places to eat.

Lovely food and drinks there. However, we went on a Sunday when there were only 3-4 other tables in the restaurant and the service was incredibly slow. It took from arriving 50 minutes to get mains (no starters ordered). One waitress seemed to be doing everything and the other "slyly" using her phone which was in the drawer under the till!

Father's Day breakfast today attentive happy staff made the whole event very relaxing and enjoyed by all generations .A separate children's menu would be useful .

Very accommodating staff - and now that the sun is shining, lunch on the "terrace" is great (as long as you get a table with a sun shade).

We were made very welcome at the restaurant and served promptly, courteously and efficiently. The food was well presented, freshly cooked and very tasty. The breakfast formule menu gives a good variety of dishes to choose from and although I am not a vegetarian, it was the option I chose and very much enjoyed.

Very friendly, helpful as usual. We weren't too hungry and we arrived in time to take advantage of the "before 7pm cheaper meal". We also had a voucher for a free cocktail and although we hadn't strictly followed the rules for ordering it, the head waiter kindly accepted it as we are fairly regular customers.

We have been here many times before and been very happy with everything. This time not so. Took 15 minutes to get a drink the garlic bread was very stodgy and there was barely any chicken in the herb roasted poussin very disappointed

We could not have had better treatment or food, we will be back soon. As it was our anniversary we found a nice bouquet of flowers at our table.

I had Sunday lunch with the family. The Food was tasty, the menu was varied to cater for every taste. service was attentive. Great experience overall and will return.

Service is very good. Choice of food is good . Was disappointed that for 2people a service charge of £6 was added to our bill. Yes this is optional I understand .But it sort of ruins the experience when you see it added on and we don't particular want to look tight and say we don't want to give it. But £6 is a lot extra to add to a bill.

Great except forums up with steak but service to put right was excellent we visit Cotes regularly enjoy the good food there and most of the staff

Always have a great meal here. Staff are always pleasant, courteous and attentive. The set menus are great value but outside of these times, the a la carte menu is lovely.

As We expect, we come here on a regular basis and always good quality food with excellent staff service, nothings ever a problem. Always fill very welcome like a friend not just a paying customer. The reason I only give you a reasonable on price is through the week there is a set menu two courses £10.95 / three courses £12.95p. Doesn't seem right that regulars can't take advantage of this at weekends if the restaurant isn't fully booked. Isn't it better to have a restaurant with people eating and helping with the overall profit margins ?. I would like to know what your view is on this subject.

Excellent choice of starts and puds but mains on set men less inspiring. And one day the steak might be rare as requested I hoe.

The food and service was really lovely. Can't fault anything. We were there for a birthday and the staff were so accompaniment, bringing out the birthday cake we brought with us and all singing. Price was reasonable considering 5 of us and alcohol included, and all food was delicious and beautifully cooked

We always have a good experience in Côte, and last night was no exception. Just wanted a quick pre-theatre meal, served very attentively & great food.

To be honest the food was ok but nothing special and the service was very poor. I had to ask for the same drink 3 times before I got it!! I won't be going back.

It would be 6 if not for a couple of problems but I can't say how well they handled each problem. The staff were excellent, especially our lovely waitress. I think the restaurant was exceptionally busy and maybe the kitchen was struggling a little. But it will not hinder our minds to return. It's really a fabulous restaurant.

Food excellent as usual. Great service. The crab mayonnaise is superb and the veal was amazing. My wife had asparagus followed by salmon fishcakes which were both very good. Will be back soon.

Very efficient service. Well cooked and presented food. Complimentary wine was of good quality. Staff new we were coming and offered wine choice straight away.

Went for a meal for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely meal together with great service. And wasn't extortionate. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks

Had a lovely lunch during the week. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. Very clean and upmarket restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We ordered entrecote steaks and waited 45 minutes for them to arrive, when they arrived they were cold & although the restaurant did offer to replace them we weren't prepared to wait a further 45 minutes so we had them as they were. Also i,ve never seen so much fat on an entrecote before it was very poor quality meat. The restaurant was clearly too busy for the staff to cope & although they were very polite and did indeed give us a complimentary dessert it was overall a poor experience

good morning I reiterate my comments sent to you after my meal at your bishop's Stortford branch, my sea bass was particularly lovely and my starter ( cannot remember the name, could it have been camembert pisaladiere ?) was good but on my next visit I shall as for something else , as it was good but no recommendable , just good. the service was impeccable , polite and friendly . Food & service is consistently excellent. That's why we go back time after time. It's great to see the same staff, to have that familaraity. That's a good omen when you see the same faces.

Good meal and good service but great confusion about the complimentary wine offer when you book online. Wine was not forthcoming as we had not complied with the details of the offer! These were not clear and led to disappointment and a little embarrassment in front of other diners.

Food extremely well presented and cooked to a very high standard as usual. The cooked breakfast, hot drink and juice deal is great value for such good quality food. I've have dinner here many times, but this was my first brunch. I fear it may be a regular indulgence from now on...

Very good service and food excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful when asking about food on the menu. We didn't feel hurried and our visit was very good. We shall return very soon

Have been here about a dozen times with my family and friends. Food is not only great, its consistently great. We have our favourite dishes and these are always done to a high standard EVERYTIME, both presentation and quality. We also try at least 1 new dish every visit and its just amazing how everything is flavoured, seasoned and put together. Not the cheapest of places, but im more than happy to keep returning because the taste and quality are well worth it and then some.

The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The food and wine was very good. Good value for money. We will go again when we can.
