It was so good to be back! Thank you Cote Bishop's Stortford staff and including the chefs, for a fabulous meal with very special service.

Staff were attentive and service was efficient Lovely atmosphere as usual and food was good Look forward to eating here again

There is always a lovely atmosphere in Cote, never any rush for us to leave! Coffee and pain au raisin excellent as usual. Staff very courteous. Lovely to feel something like normal! Toilets were nice and clean too!

Food is delicious and well-presented. Staff are wonderfully attentive, and for these reasons, we keep coming back.

I have been eating at this branch at least once a month and have found the quality of service, the value and excellent tasty varied range of food has always been consistently good. Always friendly helpful staff.

Great friendly service as always despite a very full (but safe) restaurant on the last day pre-lockdown. Just one disappointment. The crepes were dried out. Not excusable and they took them off the bill but still - must do better. Otherwise the food was delicious.

Cote décoration service and good never disappoints. Excellent classic dishes well executed in a warm decor. Dogs allowed on the inside garden.

Although there was nothing wrong with our experience at Cote, it was mystifying to find only one vegetarian option on the menu. In this day and age I find this unbelievable! I understand this is a ‘French’ restaurant, but you still need to cater to your British clientele who are opting for different lifestyle choices. When we questioned what the vegetarian choices were, we were told there used to be a vegetarian menu, but it had been removed. Sadly, we won’t come again until this changes - mainly because the vegetarian amongst us doesn’t like goat’s cheese - the only option they were given.

Good food, the menu was better suited for dinner rather than lunch, fair prices, great service!

Two old friends meeting for a girlie catch up and this was just perfect. The waiter was hilarious, a real character and completely charming. Food was delicious, we both had the Steak and they were perfectly cooked. Even managed to go off menu for some gravy/jus and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely evening and we will be back again.

Great service from the time we arrived until the time we left. It made eating out feel like the treat it should be.

We had wonderful starters, mains and deserts. The staff was really nice with the kids and interactive. It was clear the manager and staff work well as a team, which made it a very nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back again.
