Brilliant food and great service. We love dining at Cote!

Food was excellent , service friendly, enjoyable meal all round

We eat in the restaurant all the time and on most occasions we are really happy. On this occasion we took 6 friend there for breakfast and told them how good it is. Unfortunately on this occasion this went totally wrong. We all asked for well done bacon which turned out to be amazingly difficult to point where some of the bacon arrived at our table after we had all finished our breakfast. The staff apologised and reduced the bill. But it was still really disappointing that it had all gone wrong. John.

Went to our favourite local chain restaurant with friends for a leisurely breakfast. As always, good food backed by good service. Thank you Cote Brasserie.

We went on a busy Saturday night. The staff were very friendly as usual and the service was excellent. A little wait between courses but to be expected it we didn’t mind that. Food was delicious, we all had sirloin it was cooked beautifully. We also go for breakfast and that is always extremely nice. The service at this branch is always exemplary

We love your restaurant and the team who provide such great service As a birthday meal event you are always first choice in town The last 2 visits we have noticed how stretched the team are there, and as the town and restaurant gets busier the staff numbers will need to grow accordingly That said ( and I’m really sorry for forgetting the young ladies name) the waitress was fantastically attentive and her experience from recent culinary businesses served her very well in what was a busy time of evening environment Food was great, wine and cocktails were fantastic and the evening was a pleasure Ps I’m pleased that you asked for ID on my 18 yr old and it made him feel younger than he is... Pps The waitress is never 26....but it must be the water in there :) Service and waiting times are only reduced because of the staff shortages Thanks again

PLEASANT MEAL FOR THREE HAVING WATCHED ENGLAND BECOME WORLD CUP CRICKET CAPTAINS. EVERYTHING HERE WAS UP TO STANDARD EXCEPT THAT THERE HAD BEEN AN ELECTRICITY PROBLEM SUCH THAT LIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING. STAFF, UNDERSTANDABLY, ANXIOUS TO OVERCOME IT BUT NEEDED TO CLOSE EARLY AS OUTSIDE LIGHT FADED.

On line booking was great. Excellent service by the host and the waiter. We opted for the set menu and it met all our expectations. I have already recommended your restaurant to friends. Thank you Vitor

Consistently excellent. Choc mousse is amazing as good or better than France. Breton chicken great also salad. Have never had a bad meal and that goes for the breakfast too. Staff go out of their way to make sure your meal is very enjoyable

We both had lobster for main course was really good but I feel that there should have been a finger bowl or a wet wipe offered as it's not possible to eat lobster without getting a bit messy

We had an excellent evening - our food was delicious, and the service was impeccable - polite, friendly and personal, I couldn’t fault it. For a chain restaurant, it certainly didn’t feel like one. My partner’s lamb was a little over cooked, but he still enjoyed it. My spinach and mushrooms crepes were oh so cheesy and comforting, and my sister said her poulet grillé was perfection. We appreciated the free bottle of wine with the newsletter! My only suggestion would be to ensure there are more vegetarian options on the menu. We can’t wait to come again

Disappointed with service ,food was not usual standard .side order didn't turn up until Finnished and had to go to bar to order a drink very slow

We had a very enjoyable lunch with you today. We met up with friends we haven't seen for 50+ years and found the restaurant a great place, good service and good choice of food. We were left to enjoy the company of our friends in peace. We will be back as it is a very good meeting place for us

Very Pleasant, waiter was excellent. Unfortunately my wife's lobster was poor, but after pointing it out it was not charged. It was our wedding anniversary and the deserts were free, nice touch. Excellent staff and management. Great food, enjoyed it.

The staff were so lovely as always! We came for the lobster, the July special! Soooo disappointing very small over cooked, shame really! But apart from that good!

Superb service and the grilled swordfish was delicious. A very enjoyable evening.

Pretty slack service really. Bits missing from starter. GF bread and no chips with Moule Frite. No real sense of anyone being across the experience. Bit sad really because the ingredients and the taste of the food is good and the concept is good but overall the experience was poor. Finally the addition of the service charge is presumptuous. I think I would not have chosen to tip on this occasion. Not a decision I would take lightly. However I could not be bothered to get into. Conflict over the tip so just paid and left with the feeling of being taken for granted. Perhaps consider how the addition of a “compulsory” tip actually affects the delivery of the service and damages the brand in the long run.

Very tasty well cooked dishes , excellent service by friendly and efficient staff who went the extra mile for my partners request. Will return in the future to dine in this restaurant.

Fantastic as we visit this restaurant often the team are always professional & happy.

We were greeted and looked after by a lovely , friendly and super helpful waitress . The food was really good , and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable evening . So much so we are going to make it a regular event !

Very enjoyable experience, dining with friends. The set menu provided a good range and the food was beautifully cooked. My only complaint is that there was a problem with the fire alarm which meant we were disturbed by a constant bleeping.

Lovely food & good service. Olives to start weren’t very nice. Tasted of old oil, especially the black ones. Otherwise all lovely. Forgot to book using my email link for a complimentary Neroni! Poor WiFi in the restaurant so couldn’t redeem. The steak, chips & everything was good though. Many thanks

Waitress was fantastic but I can't be positive about other elements. Staff at the main service desk were constantly rearranging and unloading crockery and cutlery, making a terrific amount of noise. So much so that for a while I didn't notice an alarm going off in a nearby cupboard ('faulty, not been sorted for months'). The waitress attended to this every few minutes, duly switching it off, though it kept coming back on. She did warn us it would. Most food was ok - my minute steak was really tough and I abandoned most of it. I was happy to leave and get in to the relative peace of the road outside. Sorry but I won't be rushing back.

I find the service at this restaurant poor as my first course had to be sent back. No apology and a considerable wait for a replacement so my husband had finished his. We were also charged on the bill for the "free" bottle of wine we had been offered for this meal. We pointed it out and it was removed but again no apology. I don't find other Côte restaurants have this attitude but it makes me think twice before coming here as I have had similar experiences.

We visited with our friends. 2 of us ordered sirloin steak medium to well, came rare, asked for it to be cooked more only for it to return the same, hence unable to eat it. Service not as good as previous visits, long time without drinks. Overall disappointing

Booking online was easy. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and offered a choice of tables inside or outside (it was a warm summer evening). The staff are always friendly and attentive. I've eaten here on many occasions and the consistency of food, service and hospitality is the thing that Makes me return. The restaurant is always immaculately presented, clean and tidy. The menu was explained to us straight away and our drinks order taken. The service continued to be warm, friendly and efficient. Food was fresh, tasty and prepared to the usual high standard I've come to expect from Cote'. The fillet steak was outstanding, perfect in every way. The only improvement would be that there was a slight delay in asking for our dessert order. 10/10 all round.

Not enough staff when it got busy. Food and drinks were nice but we had to wait a long time for dessert menus/to pay the bill as staff were rushed off their feet.
