We have visited this restaurant a number of times. Great food at a reasonable price. Restaurant is in a good location and looks clean and inviting.

Overall it was excellent The food was delicious with a great choice, excellent service & a great location. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Nice atmosphere and good menu but service was a bit slow and one of our party had to send her steak back as it was a poor cut of meat.

Food delicious as always but service a little disappointing. Waited a long time for a drink on arrival and then our main course arrived before we had finished our starters and was kept hot for us. Need a break inbetween starters and mains.

The food was lovely, cooked to perfection. The location is excellent just outside The Mailbox. You can sit outside or inside. The staff are very polite and helpful.

We were a party of four . We enjoyed the ambiance and three of us enjoyed our meal, but I chose the asparagus wrapped in ham. Unfortunately some of the asparagus was tough and stringy which spoiled the dish for me. Cote came well recommended so I will not let it cloud my judgement if considering another visit.

Such wonderful efficient and friendly staff make the visit even more enjoyable.Food selection and quality excellent.Good location and the only downside is the cost of car parking in The Mailbox.

My wife and I are regulars here and the food, drink and especially service are always exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and we wouldn't consider going elsewhere

Always a great meal and attentive staff, even though it was busy we didn't have wait for our meals. One thing I would do is move the coffee machine to somewhere less public as it was very noisy

Nice friendly staff with the food being served nice and quickly. The starters were very good, one main course was fine but the risotto was too salty for our taste.

Nice wine. My steak arrived stone cold in the middle so was sent back. Also the Roquefort butter would have been better as a sauce. Delicious pudding of Creme caramel. Would go back despite steak incident.

My teenage daughters rib eye steak was bleu when she asked for it to be medium rare. They did replace with a new one which was cooked correctly but my daughter felt it had ruined her experience and appetite. Also, the card machine was not working so I was asked to go to the cash machine to get the cash out! I explained that I wanted to pay by card and not cash so they then offered to use a manual machine which I did't mind at all. I felt that this option should have been offered in the first place rather than expecting diners to leave the comfort of the restaurant to get the cash. On a positive note though the other 4 meals were delicious and good value for money with the quality of the ingredients but the fact that my teenage daughter's meal wasn't good in the first place is the reason for the low score.

Very good food, lots of variety on the menu for April. Attentive and professional staff, served without any undue delays. Very clean restaurant. I will definitely be going there again.

Very good service and food. Attentive staff and the food was tasty and very well cooked. The venue is well positioned and the fit out is good.

We started with some bread and olives. Then we had two vegetarian main courses which were very nice. Because I had been before for the first time, we took advantage of a free bottle of wine. All in all, we had a very nice evening.

Wherever I go in the U K I always find a Cote. The high standard of food, ambience,locations, service and cleanliness are upheld throughout the chain. I would say Cote is one of my favourite restaurants. I recently visited the Birmingham branch. It is situated in a perfect location on the Canal. The outside eating area has a backdrop of a vertical garden. As in all of the restaurants the interior definately has a great French bistro feel, so a great atmosphere as soon as you step in the door. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Onto the food, The steak frites accompanied with a pat of garlic butter is served pink and very tasty. For dessert I would recommend the chocolate Mousse, best I've eaten anywhere in the world and I'm a seasoned traveller. All in all a great experience with excellent service.

Staff are always pleasant and helpful and the food is lovely. It was our second visit and we're never disappointed. We'll definitely visit again - it's now on our list of favourites

Excellent meal and well priced. We had the set early deal and it was delicious. If you have a large appetite it wasn't a large meal but it was plenty for me.

Lovely atmosphere and décor, excellent service. The food was good but I was a bit disappointed with my Steak frites...it was tasty but I prefer my steak chargrilled and it would have looked more appetising with a little garnish of salad leaves.

Excellent service, great food and a great atmosphere! We were a group of 9, celebrating our friends visit home all the way from San Francisco. It was a Monday night and it was still buzzing. Lovely location overlooking the canal. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our night truly enjoyable!!
