Côte Birmingham

At first we found the restaurant difficult to find, but once we did it was worth the search. The setting beside the canal wharf gave a really calming ambience. Also the service was brilliant, especially from George the waiter, who ensured that we enjoyed our meal and served exactly what we required. We have visited a number of Cote Brasserie restaurants, and this lies near the top of the pile for service and value for money.

Good service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere sitting outside on a warm summer evening. My third visit and I am sure I will return again.

In a pleasant location, good friendly and attentive service, good tasty food at a reasonable price.The resauant has a good combination of inside and outside seating.

The stuff were great the food was good and we were allowed to talk unitil we wanted to go. Last people in there and never seemed bothered by that.

Always very good, but this evening was very busy with waiters even having to run to keep up so service was slow, but that was ok as I enjoy as I enjoy a relaxed meal Two diners going for Moules Mariniers, excellent as ever and a cheese tomatoes starter quite goid. We chose a bottle of Chablis which is always great. My companion enjoyed the excellent duck breast and I had the seared tuna which was good but a bit over cooked and not really hot, suggesting it’s delivery had been delayed. Crime Brûlée followed which was fabukous A great evening, not quite up to par, because it was so busy. The moral of the story is to try lunch or a quiet Sunday evening for a perfect meal. I do regularly and recommend to everyone.

We enjoyed our meal. The food was good and beautifully cooked. Altogether it was a relaxed and pleasant evening sat outside enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of this part of the canal basin development.

The food was Devine. The service was faultless, and I was late for my booking due to a event being held in the city centre and they were very understanding. Highly recommended. Lots of variety on the menu and prices were very good

The cooking at this branch is particularly good. CB Mailbox is a very pleasant place to meet friends for a leisurely dinner, and despite closing the restaurant at 11, we were never pressured to hurry. Great staff.

The Food was lovely, the staff were pleasant and the place has a lovely atmosphere. We enjoy our experience every time we go to Cote.

Always quality food , extensive menu and fantastic service. I never eat anywhere else when in Birmingham . This is how eating out should be .

Lovely restaurant! We love all Côte restaurants, but nothing was too much trouble in the birmigham one, and the food come extremely quickly but not sure if that was because it was a bit quieter

it was a very enjoyable occasion with relations who do not live in Birmingham. We were very well looked after by the very friendly staff who server us lovely food again. An excellent visit, thanks.

Fantastic food and fantastic service! As it was my partner’s birthday, the staff helped make it extra special by giving him a complementary prosecco and singing happy birthday when serving his dessert. We will definitely go back!

Visited on Saturday lunch pre cinema. We informed the waitress that were in a hurry and she served us quickly and efficiently, despite the restaurant being extremely busy.. The food, as always, was fresh and delicious. Great wine. Excellent friendly service from the waitress and the visiting manager who remembered us from a previous visit. Definitely recommend.

Very pleasant school reunion made even more special by the helpful, unobtrusive service given by staff. Lovely, fairly-priced food and drinks enjoyed in pleasant, cool surroundings on a hot summer's day. Several of us had the chicken and walnut salad and all agreed, tasty as it was, it would perhaps have been easier to get at if served on a plate or shallow dish rather than in a glass bowl. Excellent service and really nice food! The prestige set menu is really great value for money. Staff are really attentive and the outside area is lovely by the canal.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were very attentive at first. the order for drinks was taken promptly and the main order also The only criticism would be that the staff seemed to wonder off to do their closing up duties and we had to ask for the sweet menu and that seemed a great effort. a shame because I really do like this place!

Lovely lunchtime set menu. We booked online and dined outside. It was hot but we managed to get a table in the shade. Food & service were great. Everything we were looking for. Highly recommended.

Another good meal sitting outside at Cote and taking advantage of the Pampelle Spritz offer. Such good value and welcoming service keeps me coming back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening. I was welcomed as I approached the terrace area and offered a choice of tables. My server Andre was attentive throughout the meal. My choice of Breton Fish Stew served hot was perfect, Creme Brulee a favourite to follow.

Excellent food, service and ambiance! Seriously 5 stars!!! Staff were attentive, we were sat outside in the gorgeous sunshine, the food was quick - but not too quick, wine was topped up effortlessly - just a great meal. Cheap too!

Excellent food and surroundings. The only reason I didn't give 5 was because the service was erratic and the bread we ordered to nibble on while we were enjoying pre meal drinks never arrived.

Service was good mannered but slow. We had to wait 20 mins before someone offered us drinks. Food was good but not excellent in terms of value for money.

Food was good, service was very friendly and would have been good if properly managed. Serving staff seemed to be moved outside where it was busier, and there was no one to serve inside. We sat for a long time waiting for plates to be cleared, ordered a second round of drinks that never came, and waited half an hour before giving up on the idea of dessert completely.

The service was great, friendly helpful staff all round. The food was also fabulous, had 2 courses for £15.95 and it was great value with plentiful portions. The only slight bug bear was that there wasn’t much rest time between the courses but that is a small niggle! All in all I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Friendly professional staff, great food once again and such. Value for money especially if you choose the specials menu. Cant wait to return in the near future.

Had a lovely 3 Course lunch off the prestige set menu. Pate to start was lovely and the belly pork to follow very tasty. Service was very attentive and 3 courses with coffee were easily served within 1 hour. Highly recommended

We’ve been to this restaurant twice now, had good service & great food on both occasions

We had booked for a 60th birthday my daughter had taken decorations and cake the afternoon before but they had forgotten to use them which delayed us getting to our table which wasn't laid for the correct amount of people, to be fair they were very apologetic and gave is bread and olives complimentary, one steak had to be sent back the waitress agreed it was not up to standard and new meal was bought for my daughter but she ended up eating on her own, This however hasn't put me off as we love the food here but may hesitate with a large number

Everything was absolutely perfect. The food and service were excellent. The menu was varied, interesting and good value for money. We will definitely return soon.

We eat here regularly and it never fails to deliver on great food, lovely wine and exceptional service. There are so many other places that we could go to but this delivers on all fronts, so we just keep coming back here time and time again. Superb!

Good service. Poor food. Onion soup taste like gravy. Steak wasn't seasonsed. Hollandaise sauce tasted like butter and cod was boiled till it was flavourless. Dare not try the dessert. But expresso was ok.

Friendly, prompt service. Good quality food all round. Personally had the seafood linguine which was excellent with French onion soup that was very tasty though a little too glutinous. All other 4 guests enjoyed their meals. Would have liked to have had bread provided on the table as chains like Bistrot Pierre do.

best restaurant in Birmingham; no questions asked. The food is exceptional, the service is brilliant and speedy. The restaurant itself presents the nicest ambience I have come across.

Very very nice. Only thing stopping 6 stars was if it got any better Michellen stars would be awarded. For a chain restaurant, absolutley off the chain!!!
