We were three friends meeting. The table was great, and we were able to talk and be heard. The welcome and service was prompt and friendly. The food was really good. Thank you.
Very authentic French food. Beef bourginon was fabulous. Service was just the right amount of attentiveness.
Great service as always especially goo was the zucchini and Sea Bream
One of our favourite places to fine out. Staff and food 100%
What a really great restaurant. The chicken was great and so tasty
The food is expensive for what you get on your plate. Had to ask for the dessert menu after waiting for 10 mins for waiter to ask if we would like a dessert.
Usually love Cote and this branch too. But service was not as good as usual on this occasion. Food OK though. Also some people were making loud FaceTime calls nearby and staff ignored them. Would gave bern good to see them ask the customer to take his call outside!
Good and professional service and well cooked french bistro style food in a canal side setting. I prefer to sit nearer the front/daylight side of this restaurant. Set menu and Prestige Menu worth looking at before ordering from main menu.
Another great night out at Cote Birmingham. Good food, good service and a lovely atmosphere. There was an issue when we came to pay the bill as the whole card service had gone down so the restaurant could only accept cash payments, but this wasn't their fault and they were very apologetic about it. We will continue to return.
The service was very attentive. The breakfast was food and tasty
We booked for late afternoon and wanted a table in the sun. Non available so a short pleasant wait resulted in the best table in the house. Excellent staff made the visit delightful. The food was good but could have been better. Overall though worthy of recommendation.
A great little restaurant. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We were at the table for 2 and 1/2 hours and at no time were we rushed or pressured to vacate the table. Food is always excellent and good value for the quality.
Delicious food served by professionals in lovely surroundings would highly recommend
Service & staff good, food excellent, pricing needs looking at and the service charge of 18% '' so they can feed their staff'' that's not a customers problem, if they were a decent employer they were feed them anyway not put the onus on the customer. Plus with minimum wage why should certain industries expect tips and service charge. That's not to say I don't tip but its my choice.
Every dish is memorable. Love this restaurant - first class. Susan San Francisco..
We booked for 5.30pm on Friday night before a visit to theatre. Nice surprise that we could choose from the early evening fixed price menu (good value). Staff attentive and friendly. Timed our visit just right as it was becoming busy as we finished our meal. Well deserved tip for the staff and we were surprised to be followed outside to be thanked for our visit. Would definitely recommend and return.
Lovely food and friendly staff. Definitely recommended. The roasted pork belly is very tasty.
Great service atmosphere and menu. The creme caramel is definitely worth a try if nothing else. It’s amaxing.
Lovely food and v helpful staff. We arrived v late due to terrible traffic, they accommodated moving our reservation back and helped us pick quick options so we could still eat and get to the theatre on time!
his was our first time at Cote in Birmingham and we will definitely return. my husband and I took a friend there for an early dinner before the theatre. We loved everything about it - really tasty food, attentive and helpful staff and very prompt service. the menu gave a wide choice of dishes .
We enjoyed this birthday visit to Birmingham Cote very much. We were particularly impressed by thexcellent service provided by a young Lithuanian waiter who looked after us very well. Also the window table (55) was an added bonus that we enjoyed. Delia Haxworth
Excellent food, good value and friendly helpful staff.Really enjoyed our visit.
Having visited your restaurants in London, we knew the high standards to expect and were not disappointed.
Yet again another fab meal that is such good value for money. Staff friendly and attentive.
Do away with the background music; it adds no value and can hardly be heard anyway other than an annoying beat. Service top class especially from the trainee and Maître D.
A lovely little restaurant. The quality of the food for the price never ceases to amaze. the staff are always friendly and welcoming. This is why we keep returning!
We went for the pre-7pm set menu, and both had 3 courses which with service came to £30.38. Very tasty comfort style food, with very quick service apart from a slight wait to get given the dessert menus
Good choice on the lunch time menu and quick and efficient service. Much quieter than on a evening and a choice of tables available. Usual good quality food cooked well.
Lovely food and atmosphere and friendly service. Good menu range and innice setting. Been here few times now and always had good time so would recommend
The staff were very pleasant and friendly but service was a little slow. The food was very good and the coffee was excellent. We’d go again
despite being packed out our service was quick and efficient, the food was lovely - mussels then fish parmentier,Roquefort salad and pork tenderloin, chocolate mousse and coupe noire .well done cote
Cote Brasserie in Birmingham is always good. The staff are very professional and the food is first class. This is our number one restaurant of choice when visiting Birmingham.
A really fantastic experience, great service, friendly staff and amazing food. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and everyone who served us seemed genuinely like they were enjoying being there.
Never disappoints. Great value for money , food never disappoints. Very attentive staff as always. Choice of menu is second to none and the special menus have a comprehensive choice.
Really good food and wine, beautiful presentation, excellent service and reasonably priced. We booked, Saturday evening 7.30, people who hadn't were told it would be an hour before table free. That's how popular Cote is.
Was okay but we had to wait a while to order and subsequently for our food
A favourite restaurant for pre theatre meal, drinks and laughs with friends. Always delivers great food and ambient setting, we will be going again soon
Excellent meal good ambiance at a reasonable price. Went with 5 friends for two of whom it was their first visit and they too were very pleased.
This is a great little restaurant. The quality of the food for the price never ceases to amaze. Also the service is excellent, you are always made to feel welcome which is why we continue to visit.
Great meal and service . Staff really helpful with directions to Arena as part of towpath closed ! Restaurant spotlessly clean as always never had a bad meal here
There were 7 of us celebrating a birthday. The food was sublime. The service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Everyone had a lovely time. If you want make some feel special, I would recommend you bring them to Cote Brasserie.
Good service and God atmosphere went for Brunch would have been 6 but the Bacon was to well done for me. But the Brunch deal is great value.
Fantastic food and great value for money. Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately throughout the evening the speed of service was very poor. To have our initial drinks order taken I had to get up and go and get someone to do it. We were also waiting a long time with waiting to have our plates collected whilst several staff members were just stood around talking. Most disappointing.
The food and drinks menu is extensive and well-priced and the quality of the food is excellent, as is the service with an attentive, friendly, obliging and efficient staff. I have visited Cote Birmingham on many occasions and it's always been a really good experience.
Usually we go to Cote Brighton but we thought we would try Cote as were in Birmingham - we were not disappointed as the food and service were as food as they always are.
Pound for Pound one of the best spots to eat in Birmingham, fantastic location down by the Canal. Beautiful and consistently well maintained restaurant and atmosphere. They usually have one or two set menus bringing good value for money, the beer choice is a little low but that's a small price to pay for decent food at a decent price in a great spot in Birmingham.
A very comfortable and clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere and the usual excellent Cote cuisine. We took our daughter and grandson who were visiting from Texas and they thought it was great!
Good service even though it was the week before Christmas. Several set menus to choose from as well as the A La Carte. Almost too difficult to choose. Went for the cheapest set menu, and was not disappointed. Generous portions, well presented and delicious.
Always have a great time here. The food is lovely and the service second to none. We meet friends here 6 times a year and wouldn't consider going anywhere else
this was an excellent offer. ourselves and my parents were really impressed with the quality of food and attentive service.
