Service excellent well prepared meal which we enjoyed maybe too many petits pois with the roast haddock. I had the fish parmentier which was delicious.

Lovely food, pleasantly attentive (and knowledgeable) staff, great location - perfect place to meet the husband for a child-free mid-week lunch. Will definitely be back - hopefully on a sunny day so we can enjoy a table outside.

Very pleasant staff; good service; menu suits all tastes and pockets. Nice setting close to the canal in Birmingham's Mailbox complex. And it's not too noisy!

Lovely meal, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Had the Tuna Nicoise and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Salmon and Ratatouille which was lovely too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The ambiance and the service was as good as ever. Warm, attentive and there is always a nice buzz in there. The food was good and offered competitive value for money. The advice given regarding the starter to a reluctant goat's cheese eater was spot on. My ribeye steak was disappointing, lots of gristle and difficult to cut, not a good cut of meat, but I decided not to let it effect the experience, which on the whole, was a very positive one.

Four of us decided to book a table to sample the 10 year anniversary menu. 2 did, 2 didn't and reverted to the a la carte. The food however was, as always, delicious and the service fast, attentive and friendly. Love this place.

The venue is very pleasant and the staff were friendly and obliging - especially when they found out we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food, as always, was excellent - delicious and well-presented and there is a good choice of drinks, particularly wines. Good value for money.

We enjoyed our meal very much; the staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the service was excellent. we were going on to a concert afterwards, so it was important that there was no undue delay.- and there certainly wasn't. We will be returning.

Discovered cote restaurant recently and really line the food and choice of menu especially the set menu . Good value for money every time I've been there

Eat here quiet a lot and it's always constantly good food at a great price in a NEC location. Great relaxing vibe too, what's not to like?

Cote Brasserie in Birmingham is a firm family favourite. Great menu choice, food is always lovely but it is the service that shines through. All the staff are so attentive, professional and build wonderful rapport. It's definitely worth a visit.

Three of us had a great experience, dining early evening: delicious food and excellent service. We particularly liked the chicken liver pâté and the spinach and mushroom crèpes.

Although the food was good the service was poor and we were unable to see our bill at the end of the meal as the technology went wrong ... as a group of five individuals this made things difficult .

We enjoyed the Anniversary special menu very much, and left pleasantly full. The service was excellent - friendly, discreet, efficient, and the atmosphere busy but also intimate. I eat at Cote regularly, and always enjoy the food but had thought of Cote as a place to eat before going somewhere else. Last night we sat at out table for the best part of twohours, and enjoyed our evening every bit as much as we have at far grander and more expensive restaurants.

Visited Cote Brasserie on a lovely sunny evening and sat outside by the canal under the shades. lovely atmosphere and great sevice. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious as usual. Would recommend.

Great! The food choice was wide and interesting. We experienced a lovely welcome, the food was excellent and came at just the right moment, the champagne was suitably chilled, and the service perfect. We shall certainly go again!

Our visit last night was to celebrate my birthday, however my birthday wasn`t even mentioned let alone acknowledged. There were four of us and our table was booked for 6 p.m. We arrived on good time. Nothing said about my birthday. We had friends with us for this special evening so we were all totally disappointed. Not sure about visiting again.

First time visit and will go again, lovely sunny evening so able to sit outside, the atmosphere was relaxed and service and food really good.

Great menu and ambiance. All enjoyed their food. We had a combination of the special early evening menu and the normal. Good value. Waiting staff a little pushy in getting us to order ( we were 20 mins early)

Food and Service was faultless, very friendly, personal and attentive. Pork Belly juicy crispy and exceptional. Gratin potatoes authentically french. No.7 Sauvignon Blanc Crisp and Dry. Highly recommend on a midweek summers day, very nice ambience.

Always a reliable choice for a french meal with an authentic taste. A pleasant welcome, an interesting menu to choose from, attractive and thoughtfully cooked food and attentive service all make for an enjoyable experience. We shall return.

Excellent service, friendly staff, helpful and attentive nice atmosphere and lovely food. Good recommendations from waiters/waitress. I ordered the duck which was a little too pink for my liking and the lovely waitress took it for me to cook a little more.

Excellent venue. We were able to sit outside and eat Al Fresco with a lovely summer evening. Food is excellent and they offer a fantastic Gluten Free Menu. Waiters are friendly and attentive.

Excellent service. There was five in our party, we had main and dessert, food was served quickly and taste superb. Presentation was good. We attended at lunch time, nice atmosphere, would certainly visit again.

Attentive service, well presented food, a good experience. This was a new venue for me and certainly somewhere that will feature in thoughts when considering future visits to The Mailbox.

The Cote in Birmingham was excellent with attentive staff who gave great advice to my wife on the menu which as a diabetic she found invaluable. The food was cooked to perfection and served in a timely fashion letting us enjoy the evening and not feel either rushed or that we had to wait. Overall a great night out which helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary with a smile. Special mention of Sola our server who was fabulous, thank you Sola we will be back

Absolutely gorgeous food served in a relaxing ambience (compliments to the chef). Service was top notch and we loved our Lithuanian waitress who even gave us some pointers for a stay in her country. Thanks very much!

Very difficult to access Mailbox car park especially when you are a visitor to Birmingham. Even more difficult to access restaurant if you are disabled and a wheel chair user, as I am. No signs in Mailbox for lifts etc. Booked for 7.30 but when we arrived no seats outside so started with drinks inside until a table available. Very good service and very good standard of food, although a side order was forgotten. We like Cote as a restaurant chain and feel that this was one of the best we have used. However will think twice about using again because of the external access difficulties.

I had a most enjoyable set lunch of Apple and Roquefort salad, followed by Haddock with a pea puree and a dark chocolate pot to finish. It was a very hot day, so I ate on the terrace with a slight breeze from the canal, but my complimentary Kir Royale (it was the day afetr my birthday) was very welcome.

Speedy friendly service - fresh tasty food only issue was that they had run out of the belly pork. Would definitely return as lovely atmosphere and good food cooked well.

Good value middle of the road bistro with good staff. Have attended several of their outlets and have been impressed with each one so far, Birmingham is in a pleasant location.

Excellent GF menu. Our waiter even pointed out the GF dishes on the main menu by marking them. Good service by knowledgeable staff. Will definitely go again. GG and Sassy
