Very friendly staff, good service and a really nice meal at good value. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the evening very much indeed.

I'd recommend Cote for many reasons/ Friendly attentive service. The early evening fixed price menu is fantastic value for such good food. An extensive wine menu offers plenty to accompany the food. The surroundings are comfortable yet classic French style and I always enjoy my visit.

I visit this Cote restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. The service and food are unfailingly reliable and they look after us 'regulars' very well!

French Onion soup and Beef Bourguinon spot - nice atmosphere - good service and food all aided by a nice bottle of Chablis. Always Good!

A nice meal with good service. The offer with the bottle of wine was very good value. The Breton Chicken was lovely but some of the leeks in the fish stew were overcooked.

We had a family meal to celebrate my husband's birthday. We all enjoyed our meal. We very much appreciated the effort made to suit the children's [8 and 5 year old] tastes and needs. Staff were pleasant and professional. The environment clean and attractive but not over "fussy" and no music to drown conversation. I would recommend Côtes

Good location in the Mailbox. Nice ambiance. Staff were friendly and provided prompt service. Food was delicious and well presented, Lovely. I definitely recommend this place.

Greeted with a smile and found the staff very pleasant throughout the meal. The meal itself was good and I considered good value for money. I would certainly come back for more of the same.

The quality of the food and the service was excellent. The reason for not giving a score of 6 was because I needed to contact the restaurant by phone prior to my visit. in the past it has taken a minute at most. 10 minutes into the 'updated' system I was still waiting. Second try at a different time wasn't much better but at least I got through. What a waste of time. I emailed the restaurant and thought they handled my concern very well so no complaints there. However, the system remains in place so contacting the restaurant by phone is best avoided.

Booked a Table On-Line we were greeted cordially and given a choice of tables. The Meal was excellent and nicely presented and the Service and attention to detail was commendable.

Good experience even though it was a busy Saturday night.

Great staff and great food! Usually have set menu as such good value, always interesting food and well cooked. I took friends from Canada and they were very impressed with their experience.

BEWARE....Paid 12.5% service charge that is added to the bill then was asked if I wanted the £5.50 change that was due from my cash payment!!!! Double rip off and incredibly rude.

Lovely meal good service. Table was ready when we arrived. Been several times and is always good service. Hate restaurants that add a service charge, i always tip anyway and feel that is my choice.

Great pre-theatre early evening meal and great value. Good service, even though the restaurant was busy between six o'clock and seven. Staff were polite and friendly.

Food up to the usual standard. If I'm really picky - service could have been just slightly better. That said, I really have no complaints.

Nice ambience and it was great to be allowed to choose where you would like to sit - that's a nice touch! Food good value and very tasty, the reason I wouldn't give full marks because the food came up very quickly, which when you're out for the evening, you feel you'd like to make the event longer. We didn't want dessert & felt we had to ask for the bill, so the whole dinner was probably under the hour!!

Overselling the olives and bread really annoying. 4 offerings from three staff a little much. Service good and no delays. Hated the flat half chicken which looked unappetising and not really a chicken as we know it. My wife's steak was good so at least that was rewarding. I hate the standard 12.5% service charge which shows a greedy employer. I always take off such charges as I feel I should have the choice of rewarding good service without this annoyance Hope this helps and makes a difference. Phil

One of our favourite restaurants, we have visited cote number of times and every time food is always prepared to high standards and very tasty. The staff is very polite and last night even if the place was busy the service was fast and provisional.

Great Atmosphere and polite and helpful staff. Food was really well presented and was delicious. Prices are slightly high end but well worth the price

Lovely meal, the duck was cooked to perfection and the service was very good. We weren’t rushed at all and although they didn’t have the wine we wanted they did suggest a suitable alternative

Gorgeous food & great service! Everyone in our party of 6 cleared their plates & enjoyed their meals- i had the chicken and gratin which was lovely. We had the cheapest white wine and we all really liked it

The atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff are very friendly. Good choice of dishes on the menu and very good value. I always go with my friend when we meet in Birmingham and we always enjoy the experience.

Absolutely fantastic. The service, the food, everything. They did mix up the wine we ordered and the tomato salad was forgotten about but they kindly rectified it. Will definitely go back.

Meal mediocre, felt like food had been sat on hot plate for a long time before being severed. Service was polite but bare minimum of interaction, a smile would help..... Not a patch on Cote in Horsham.

I had pre-booked a party of 8. A friend and I arrived early for the table and had to say one of the party had to drop out, which was no problem at all. We could go to our table and were served drinks while waiting for our friends to arrive. Everyone in the party enjoyed their choices, we had the set menu and the autumn salad starter was thought to be particularly good. Service is formal, prompt and efficient in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a couple of years since I last visited but I won't leave such a long gap again before my next visit.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food and efficient service. I would definitely go here again and recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

We ate the £27 10 year anniversary menu which comes with a glass of champagne and a wide range of offers/oppurtunities. Great meal and delicious food.

Very good experience at lunch time. This Cote is in an attractive location by the canal. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was well presented and delicious (I had the Parmentier). A bottle,of the house white went down very easily and we spent a very pleasant two hours in the relaxed atmosphere. It wasn’t busy so we weren’t bothered by the usual noise level we have come to expect in restaurants in England. Another Cote to add,to the list,

I was a nice meal, The quality of food was good and the staff was very professional. the service was quick and the location was very relaxing.

The food was good and there was a good choice of meals. The service was slow. The staff were not very helpful or friendly when I spoke with them on the phone.

No duck for 2 of our party so sad and expensive for the quality of the food it was nice but not that nice !!!

The food, the service and the atmosphere is always fantastic at this Cote Brasserie. My whole family love the restaurant and find that it's always of a high standard.

Loveliest food, brilliant staff, fabulous location. Definitely worth ecery penny spent in our 3 course meals and bottle of wine. We will definitely be back!

Service and food was excellent, I would recommend the fish stew main. House red wine was very good. Not the first time we have visited and won't be the last.
