Excellent service. Lovely food (chicken and walnut salad and a side of fries) I had a complimentary summer drink, and I sat outside in the sun. Amazing and it was cheap - under £15 - amazing!

Lovely menu, great that they have the specials menu. Well cooked, tasty food. Great service on a really busy day. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will be going back very soon.

Nice food. Poor service. Had to wait a long time for everything . Manager did apologise and said it would not happen again. I would try again.

Food was amazing but service not so much, seemed all staff were more focussed on the people sat outside, drinks were forgotten & only received half way through starters after spending 5 mins trying to get someone's attention. Wanted to stay for dessert but there was no one around to clear plates we seemed to be abandoned after mains were served.

Lovely place with a reasonably good menu - if not a bit unimaginative. We did have to send back a steak twice as it was overdone but generally the service was attentive and the food good.

Brilliant food and excellent friendly service from the staff. Went out for a family meal and we all really enjoyed our dinner and we'll definitely be back

Fabulous meal - the service was first class and well worth the service fee, we wanted for nothing, and we left very very satisfied. The food quality and portion size is prefect

Food was good but not the service food came before the drinks then 2 diet cokes came instead of 1 coke 1 glass of wine

Food and atmosphere was lovely but it took us 3h to have our lunch. The wait and the service was extremely poor! Do not go here if you're on a time constraint.

Excelllent as usual! Always so helpful about husband’s gluten free requirement. Pleasant staff and surroundings. Good position for visiting Symphony Hall and for New Street.

Beautiful setting, duck was amazing and the waiting staff were so kind - thank you (only lost a point in the steak rating as it didn't come rare but still tasted great) xx

The food was great however service was a little slow and we were served by 4 waiters in total no check back on food and had to ask for additional drinks. The restaurant was only 60% full at this time

Always a good meal, fantastic friendly and professional staff. Very good value. A great place for romantic couples or groups, we had a great office party there which they organised so well.

Loved the food and location is excellent. I would recommend to all my friends and family. Just be aware that a gratis is added to your final bill

First time at Cote, and the food was all good, seemed freshly made and a pleasant environment. The service , however, was a bit uneven, with a slightly disinterested front of house desk, with difficulty in gaining attention even in a half-full restaurant and had to prompt for bread, drinks order, clearing plates away etc. Possibly they were just maxxed out after a father's day lunch service. However, overall a good early supper and would go again.

Lovely food, great service and very relaxing environment. Always delightful and today was not dissapointment. The whole family enjoyed a prefect lunch. Thank you :)

Really Excellent. Wide choice of superb, keenly priced imaginative, quality food with 5* service in a clean well run establishment. Visited Cote at various locations and always the same.

Great menu lovely setting and really looked after you caring and professional staff. The arrival and good location table really made our visit to Cote Brasserie

Good place with French cuisine. I'll definitely come back again to enjoy a good lunch in the city center and relax and enjoy good food.

Lovely meal as usual. Cote have now introduced a premium prix fixe menu which is good value. Lagarde white wine as crisp, dry and beautiful as ever!

The food was delicious and the service was very good. A great evening and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. You have the option of sitting by the canal on warm nights.

We always visit the Cote Restaurant when we are in Birmingham. The service is very friendly and efficient, and the food is excellent as usual. We look forward to our next visit

Lovely food with a good variety of choice. Pre 7pm two & three course options are great value. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back again.

The food was very good, the service however was disappointing. We sat down for around 20 minutes before we were offered drinks at which point we ordered the food too. When the main course arrived we specifically asked for a side of peppercorn sauce which arrived around 5 minutes after the main course which defeated the object. It was mostly frustrating because they add a 12.5% service charge to the bill, which of course I don’t mind paying if the service is prompt and efficient. I feel the restaurants who add these charges automatically to the bill aren’t motivating their staff to be attentive.

Food and service were very good. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Belly pork was wonderful as was the crepe caramel. We enjoyed a good evening at Cote

We went for lunch yesterday and had a fabulous time. The food was excellent as always and service was brilliant. Corn fed chicken was just the best. Asparagus starter was also very tasty 😋

Great service as usual, food really nice. June specials were tasty. Although mussels were off the menu tonight which was a shame. Goats cheese made up for it though.

Great food a vey good menu selection 2 set menus and the main menu. We had a great meal wanted to sit outside but it was too cold but had drinks outside after eating and the staff moved all the drinks very helpful. This is a very nice restaurant with nice staff in a great location we will go back soon

Gorgeous setting and efficient service. Food was delicious. We all plumped for the set lunch menus and all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I think the Seafood Linguine came out on top!

Delicious food and lovely staff. Issue was we pre-ordered a cake for 21st bday but this never materialised which was very disappointing. Would not return for a special occasion due to this

As usual, quality of food very good, but seriously disappointed with portion size. Two of us had salmon hollandaise from the specials menu, described as salmon with jersey potatoes and asparagus - which is was, but should have been described as vegetable garnish only. Four TINY new potatoes, three spears of asparagus. We really needed to have ordered at least one side to make it into a meal. Don't mind a restaurant trying to keep down costs, but more clarity needed on description on menu.

Usual high standard of service , food quality and extensive menu that I love . Just never eat anywhere else now when dining out with friends or family.

Wonderful afternoon spent here, we sat outside in the sunshine, it got unite warm so we asked to move inside and the staff were very accommodating and the food divine. Definitely would recommend. Can’t wait to go back

Great little restaurant. The quality of food for the price is amazing. lovely surroundings, attentive and friendly staff. One of my favourite restaurants in Birmingham. Keep coming back time and again!

Overall experience was good...only marred as initial steak served was particularly fatty and unpleasant - when the waitress was advised, a fresh steak was prepared and delivered which was excellent. Overall no complaints & would certainly re-visit. Quality generally is very good, prices are reasonable and there's a wide variety of food & drinks to suit all tastes.

Amazing food and great service would recommend to anyone who loves pork belly to eat here, it was cooked to perfection, I’d eat here again for sure

Good food. Restaurant understaffed so the rushed wait staff lacked attention to detail, failing to serve one of our party their breakfast until we approached staff inside as they avoided eye contact outside.

Fantastic service, beautiful food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends. Couldn't have asked for a better meal out! Steak was cooked perfectly, wine completed the food superbly and the starters were delicious as well.

it was absolutely amazing dinner. Greeted by all staff members, very proffesional manner of service. All our food was great, served without any delays. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, felt very looked after.

Great food, patchy service...waited a long time between courses and abandoned dessert in the end because no one came back to us to take our order so we just asked for the bill.

Highly recommend this venue, the food is amazing, particularly the steak! The decor is quite cool and different, and the entertainment just tops it off, especially with the dancers!

Food and friendliness of staff excellent as always. The delay in delivery of side dishes (which was apparently due to a mistake in the kitchen) was a disappointment but the reduction in bill as a result much appreciated. We shall be back!

Food and ambience were great! Very busy and staff obviously struggling, so service wasn’t great. It wouldn’t have been a problem but we were going to the theatre. Overall a positive experience.

Another great experience, this time to mark my fiftieth birthday. We were a party of four and chose from the new All Day Prestige set menu. This comprised of 6 starters and 6 mains to chose from, something for everyone. I had English asparagus which was delightful followed by a 8oz rib eye cooked perfect to my spec. Two of the guests chose the calamari which is always great followed by the pork belly. The fourth guest didn't have a starter but chose the Breton chicken another sure hit. Three of us then had a dessert each from a choice of four. Two courses was £15.95 and three courses was £18.95 we all felt that this was excellent value for money and the service was excellent and friendly as per usual hence the reason I chose to celebrate my half century there!
