Lovely lunch with a friend -on a rare dry afternoon - sitting outside Staff were very helpful to accommodate dietary requests.Food and service were excellent.Minor hiccup with the bill but quickly resolved.Thank you.

Would have been nice to have a table outside reserved for us, when I booked well in advance, and if you are going to have the air conditioning on inside the sliding French doors should be shut otherwise it just defeats the point in having the aircon on. However, with that aside, the food was beautiful and very good set price menu. Quick service and relaxed atmosphere other than the heat!

Special mention to the general manager, who went the extra mile to make our visit so memorable, you were amazing. Food was superb, I would not hesitate to recommend Côte Birmingham to all my friends as one of the best places to eat and visit in Birmingham, we will definitely be back soon. Again, you guys and girls are exceptional, thank you so much. C'est magnifique

We really enjoyed the food. The service was good too but 12.5% added to the bill for service charge is excessive.

The restaurant is a useful choice because it has an attractive outside area with 'green walls'. The service is 'old fashioned, French style - in a good way.

I ate at Cote today with my wife and a friend of ours. One thing I like about Cote is that you have the choice of eating outside if you want - not many restaurants in Birmingham offer that. As it happens, it was so hot today we ate inside, but it was still good to have the choice. There was plenty on the menu that attracted us, but we were all happy with what we had chosen. We were also delighted to be offered 3 kir royales on the house which was very much appreciated. The service was efficient, but friendly and we never felt rushed or forgotten. I occasionally moan about the service charge being automatically added to the bill, but not today.

We had a really lovely meal served by delightful staff. An experience I am sure we will repeat again.

The food was good and cost was reasonable especially with offers but the service was impeccable aspecially from Mindaugas who was the perfect host

Five of us had an excellent breakfast. The only shortcoming was dry overcooked bacon which we mentioned when paying. Unexpectedly, were then given a compensating discount, which was much appreciated. Full marks!

Lovely location, clean, comfortable and generally pleasant surroundings. Polite and friendly staff. Overpriced and slow service. We dined at 5.00pm. Fish Parmentier was an ordinary fish pie, Spinach and Mushroom Crepes we’re ok. The Chicken and Walnut Salad was poor. Reasonable amount of chicken but had to search for the small amount of avocado and runner beans. The walnuts were almost non existent and the croutons were soggy! Very green! Didn’t like the way a 12.5% gratuity was added to the bill so had to ask for it to be removed. Embarrassing! Aperitif of Pissaladiere arrived without side plates which we had to wait for. Also had to wait an age before we attracted someone’s eye so we could pay the bill.

The staff were absolutely charming, nothing was too much trouble, even when we had to decamp indoors because of a deluge. Have used Cotes all over the country, always a safe bet. Keep in mind though this particular site is on the waterfront, and on Fridays & Saturdays you are witness to the dreadful institution that is "Stags" & "Hens". Sit inside if you prefer not to watch the cabaret that is walking by. The evening we were in Birmingham drunk young men were diving into the canal, To Cote Brasserie - we wish continued success.

Good value, goats cheese ravioli delicious, signature creme brûlée didn’t disappoint

Very tasty food, with good choice of dishes. Service excellent. Staff very helpful, at all stages from booking to ordering. One person in our group was allergic to something and the waiters willingly switched her dish. Will come again

We received a lovely welcome on arrival and were quickly seated with menus provided and a complimentary bottle of wine bought to the table. We decide to eat from the ‘prestige’ menu and decided on our starters and mains but unfortunately we were advised by the waitress that there was ‘no ravioli available’ which is what we all chose as our main course! Needless to say at midday on Saturday we were left very disappointed, we decided to stay and chose alternatives which were very nice but not what we were looking forward too.

Food excellent but service was slow mainly due to insufficient number of staff

We had a lovely family meal at Cote, everyone enjoyed their food and the staff could not have been more helpful.

I would never have come back to the restaurant as end of May/June, I came with my family as we were having a special reunion weekend. We came for Sunday brunch. It was dreadful. There was 8 of us and we had to send back 7 out of 8 meals, we waited ages, to be served but they sent me a voucher a recompense and I brought 2 of my friends to use it. We were highly delighted and I told the manager how pleased we were. We got there at 6.30 and glad we did because when we left after 8 it was rammed and very noisy, but then the 3 of us are of a certain age!!!!!!!,, 😂😂🤣

The food was delicious, the service was good and we had a really lovely time there. It is in a lovely location with lots of outside seating which was nice on a sunny summer evening.

Great food and fantastic service from our lovely Albanian waitress, who was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the whole experience of catching up with friends from Norwich, over a lovely lunch. There were plenty of menu options to suit all of us and we enjoyed the Viognier wine too! The food was excellent value for money and very well prepared and presented. Thanks for a memorable day. We will be back with friends who are visiting from Australia, in August.

Location is great - so nice to be able to sit outside in the evening along side the canal Customer service is exception !!

I booked Cote for my mother's 60th birthday having been before and remembering the high quality, thought it appropriate for our little celebration. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the food & atmosphere were gorgeous especially since we dined outside on the patio by the canals. We will all definitely be returning.
