Not quite as good as usual - we are regular visitors, but tonight was busy, and I wasn't as pleased as usual with my food choices. The cassoulet was particularly salty - I couldn't eat more than half of it (took the rest home in a doggy bag, probably edible diluted with a tin of tomatoes, or put into a soup), and the chocolate sauce in the Coupe Noire (my favourite dessert) was warm rather than hot

Warming greeting and offer choice of table that we preferred. Attentive staff without being intrusive. Cosy and Intimate dinner, with a very good Early Bird menu. Beef shin main meal was utterly delicious.

We visited Côte on Saturday evening to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were extremely well looked after from the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left. The staff are brilliant and the food is amazing, can't fault it at all. Highly recommended, thanks to everyone at Côte for a great evening.

I am based in London and half my family is based in Birmingham where we booked. We all had an amazing time. Everything was pre-booked and organised for 11 guests in total, we ended up having 3 extra guests on the day. Everyone was extremely accommodating and very attentive to all our needs.

Service is very good. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food is delicious, this months French Martini very morish. Can't think of any negatives except the weather on the day but I can't blame Cote for that. Very enjoyable lunch.

Really disappointing food tonight. The service was incredibly rushed, it literally felt like fast food. Cote used to be a chain which offered something different, it now just feels like any other. The food quality has dropped significantly. We were regulars at Cote, but based on tonight, I think this will stop.

Warming greeted, attentive staff without imposing. Subtle lightning and cosy atmosphere for an intimate dinning experience. Food as ever, prompt, freshly prepared and delicious. A great place to wine and dine.

We were 9 for a family reunion down from Manchester & across from Nuneaton, Location ideal for us old train users. Booking was easy and the mailed offer that followed after we booked was honoured with a bottle of red. As was one of the slightly overcooked steaks. The staff are mega friendly and mega courteous and mega good. 2nd time we've been, expect us again. I've only marked the food 5 stars coz mine was the overcooked chateaubriand but you would get an extra star on service for the compensation wine. See ya next Spring. Quality!

Food excellent, staff very pleasant and dealt with a problem over a dessert order (and without hesitation) by not charging us for a bottle of wine! Have had several meals here and they never fail to deliver.

Although we were unfortunately a little late and arrived as an enormous group were just putting in their order, the staff rallied around, understood our desire to not be caught up in the large group being served and we had a lovely speedy but unrushed service. Food really good quality as we expect from Cote.

Thank you to all the staff at Cote Brasserie in Birmingham for being so attentive last night. We were celebrating our 55th Wedding Anniversary with a meal there, the table was set beautifully, complete with an Anniversary card, we also had a complementary glass of pink Prosecco. Always a warm welcome, tasty and well presented food and professional but friendly service. Set menus are superb value. This is a perfect restaurant for a pre-theatre dinner. Despite being very busy, our meal was well timed and we felt quite pampered.

Friendly, efficient, comfortable, good food, good choices, good service. Shame that the advertised 2 hours parking offered at the Mailbox was not honoured - advertised, still currently on the website, but we were advised it was withdrawn. I would have come here anyway, and it isn't a huge amount, but if it is advertised it should be honoured. Whatever is going on between Cote and the Mailbox is up to them, don't involve your guests, honour the discount! Too busy to discuss further.
