OK and staff very nice, but our plates weren't cleared for ages (until I asked), then no coffee was offered so again I had to get someone's attention. It's just exhausting having to constantly ask for things!

The food was excellent. Fabulous fillet steak and the melange of deserts was gorgeous. Only trouble was the service was pretty slow. Waited a long time for desert. 2 hours for 3 courses is a lot and there were quite a lot of empty tables. Lots of staff running around but none serving us. The Cote in St Martins Lane is much better.

Usually I really like Cotes, but last Sunday was total shambles. They forgot my main, so I had to watch my wife kids eat and eat after them. I ordered a burger which I never do and it was tasteless and over cooked...

Another lovely evening at Cote, making use of a voucher for a bottle of wine. Delicious moules marinieres followed by my favourite fish parmentier for me and warm Roquefort salad followed by lamb shank for my friend. Cote is always a winner

Good tasty food at a reasonable price. Our moules marinieres main course dishes were both served cold, though the staff replaced them when we complained.

We’d had a bad experience here with friends just before Xmas, so were a little nervous about coming back. Needn’t have worried though, as it was back on top form!

This branch of Cote is one of our favourites. It has a pleasant ambiance and all the staff are particularly efficient and friendly. The food, as usual, was excellent.

The food was good as usual but the staff were not very attentive. I think a new waitress was being trained so not watching the floor

Not impressed wth the meal although the service was good. French onion soup had a large lump of bread which was impossible to break up with a spoon, and the soup itself was very average. The chicken had been seared on the skin which made the smell unappetising. The saving grace was the crumble which was good. Probably give it a miss in the future.

Standards have slipped. Service slow and inaccurate. Food quality poorer - chips under cooked, brioche burnt, pate looked too pink, under cooked.? Haven't given up on them yet. Value for money good.

By the normal standards that I expect from Cote, the experience at Battersea Rise was poor on this occasion. It was quite clear from the very slow service after being shown to a table, that there were insufficient staff to serve the diners, in spite of the restaurant not being full. I’m bound to say the manager did her best to deal with my party of five, but I had to get up from the table no less than three times to ask for various things. The food was very average (again by normal Cote standards) but was acceptable. One dish was very over cooked and ultimately was removed from the bill! I only came to this branch as I could not get a booking at Sloane Square, which is normally excellent.... Must try harder at Battersea!

I'm sorry to say but i was very disappointed with the service last night when i came with 5 friends for my birthday dinner. The food was very slow coming and i had to wave to attract the attention of the waitress when we needed more drinks/to order our food. As the restaurant wasnt full i found this surprising.

Excellent choice on the December menu. Food was very good. Service also very good - the staff at this branch of Cote are always very friendly and professional. Ambiance very jolly in the run up to Christmas.

First visit to this cote although am a regular cote user. Nice venue, attentive staff and the usual goood standard of good that I’m used to at this chain. Have to say I’ve not had a bad meal at any of them which means they all have a good chef as even though the menus are the same doesn’t mean the food served is the same standard. Would go back when in the area.

Friendly staff, various menu options, excellent food, good value for money, pleasant environment, only negative was that service was rather too slow. Recommend. Visited Friday evening when restaurant was fully booked.

Having been a regular at Wimbledon cote I was pleased that this one followed the similar standards.i have recently moved to Balham and thought I would try the cote in Battersea and it didn’t disappoint I was warmly greeted by a lady wearing black( I presume it was the manager) who was very welcoming and attentive all evening. The food was excellent and the wine I was recommended was delightful. I had a great experience and will probably go there for brunch on Sunday. At least this means I won’t have to travel to Wimbledon now!

Although the food was good the service missed the mark. The waitress was not friendly and did not engage in any conversation and no smiles! Offered us olives to start with but did not deliver them. We had to ask for the water to be refilled three times before we eventually got it. There was no bread delivered with the cheese board and when I asked for it the reply was “does it come with bread”!! The table was only partially cleared after our mains and looked a mess once dessert came. Pretty poor experience with regards to the service and attention.

Food was great, but the service was probable one of the worst I have ever experienced. Long wait time to order, never got the water we have asked for while we were waiting to order, food took a long time to come out, we waited forever for the dirty plates to be picked up and the table to be cleaned prior to getting the dessert menu. Had to ask for the bill twice... I know Côte for a long time and live that chain, but this was a very disappointing experience. First time in the Battersea branch, and probably the last.

Great service, friendly staff. Classic French food and great wine at keen prices. We felt really wel looked after by our cheery waitress. Great venue for guilt-free regular treats.

Lovely food and lovely staff. Steak tartare was amazing. The price was reasonable and I would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely restaurant they could have a relaxed time with great food.

Delicious meal beautifully presented, friendly staff, attentive and discreet service. Literally on my doorstep, use it very often and never disappointed Cote is my favourite restaurant.

Efficient but friendly and unintrusive service. Sunday evenings are evidently quite quiet (suited me fine) and they therefore closed down the back section of the restaurant, which kept the place seeming alive. Good food, well-served.

AS always we are greeted with a smile - we go there often. Food as usual was good and brought without delay - well done!

Fantastic brunch offer. I had a great service, table was ready for my party. Coffee was good. Fresh mint tea was fresh. Toast was delicious, next time will get the brown as it’s seeded.

To be honest, the three steaks we ordered were very tough indeed- maybe poor meat, maybe meat not left long enough to settle after cooking, but definitely unsatisfactory. V disappointing, as I have often dined with you. Sweets excellent. But please do something about your meat quality. A waiter asked about 'our experience'., or similar expression, but admitted she had no understanding of what I said in criticism. I know it is difficult, but ... You have to tackle this, as the steak frittes haves always been v popular. I shall not choose it again for quite a while.

I have been to various Côte restaurants and usually have the steak but tried the pork belly and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. Good wine as always and the set menu was good value with plenty of choice. Will go again

Just as good as ever! Think we’ve eaten most of the menu by now, but the half roast chicken still remains a firm favourite.

Great brunch recommend the crepes with bacon egg and cheese! Friendly service with attentive but not intrusive staff. Took friends and they would be happy to go again.
