Côte Battersea Rise

Amazing food. Amazing service and staff. This is only the second time I have been to Côte and will be making this a regular haunt.

The staff at this branch are wonderful! The host especially.

Welcoming and a choice of tables. Waiting staff very pleasant but did not know about all the offers. Manager was very helpful.

We had a very good meal and the service was excellent. Especially delighted that our small dogs were allowed to sit under the table and were greeted with a nice soft chew. It was warm and cosy on a cold day. We shall be coming again!

Business lunch, friendly staff, great food and super value

Lovely people serving us, good house wine, great food and excellent value - no problem at all when our lunch extended to five hours! They even gave us free coffees as the mains had been a while - which we hadn’t minded as we chatted anyway. Terrific local restaurant just 100 yards away for me... what’s not to like?

Good morning, We are extremely disappointed with our experience we had at your Battersea restaurant on Thursday 2nd January. Although the restaurant itself was lovely and the staff were friendly, they were extremely understaffed which completely ruined our experience. We were both ordering from the early evening menu, however, my partner was ordering a starter and a main and I was ordering a main and a dessert. My partner, therefore, asked for his starter to be bought out at the same time as our mains. It was to our surprise that his starter came out with just my main and after waiting several minutes my partner had to get up and ask for his main to also be bought out. My partner then had to get out of his seat and ask several times more for our plates to be cleared/the next course to be bought out, and again finally to ask for the bill. We also noticed a couple sitting next to us with, what looked like, finished plates of muscles for an extremely long period of time. When the waiter did finally come with the bill, he explained to us that they were understaffed that evening, which we had already assumed. Due to all of the above, when it came to paying the bill, we asked to pay the amount minus the service charge. We were then made to feel awkward about this which added to our bad experience. As previously stated, the staff were friendly and we understand it was not their fault they were understaffed, it was just extremely disappointing how much this affected our experience. We were having our first night together to celebrate Christmas and chose Cote as we usually have great service here, and it really set a negative tone for our evening. Cote Brasserie is our favourite restaurant in Battersea for a family outing. It's a lovely space, it offers an extensive menu, the service is outstanding and it's extremely child friendly. I couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff consistently go out of their way to ensure we have the best experience possible. They are super friendly, understanding and patient with children. It is slightly out of the way for us but worth the journey every time. We often go on a Saturday just before midday. Plenty of options for the kids, the fries are insanely good as is their chocolate mousse!! Fantastic experience and exceeds the Cote in Sloane Square which is actually closer to us. Highly recommend.

Had to take a few friends and family out for xmas. Cote made it a fabulous night . Great staff .. good menu ... and very reasonable . But ... Great staff !

The food was good, as it usually is, and the staff were friendly, as they usually are. Service was a little bit slow today because of big tables for office parties but otherwise it was very good

Yes was amazing, was my first date with my gorgeous girlfriend and loved every minute of it. The desserts were particularly good, we particularly enjoyed racing to get the melted chocolate and ice cream. Throw that creme caramel into the mix and you've got all types of sweet goodness going on.

Food and service were excellent. We will defiantly be back.

Very good apart from the soup being cold & the warm Goats Cheese Salad being rather odd but delicious.

We waited half an hour before the first course came and to remind someone how long we had been waiting. It was Luke warm when it came. The main course was enjoyable. We then waited a long time for our desert menus to come and these were only presented on request. The same with coffee, Inhad to ask for it to be served to us. Then having given cash for the bill and paid the optional service charge in spite of less than good service, we waited 20 mins for our change to come. It was not very much but, on principle, we did not want to leave it. There service was poor today and lacked coordination, not what we normally expect from Cote. A disappointing experience.

A really great evening. The team went above and beyond to welcome us. The food and service was exceptional and all for a very reasonable price.

Current manager not as good as previous manager. We had booked to get our deal - a bottle of sparkling wine but unfortunately hadn’t read the small print ad none of our party wanted three courses (Christmas menu). We instead opted for the prestige menu (all 4 of us). She said that if three of us had the three courses we would be eligible for the wine - but we had already established we only wanted 2 courses... I suppose it was our fault for not properly reading the small print. It was a Monday night and only about 3 or 4 tables being used sounds would have thought she could have exercised a bit of discretion over this.

All good, except that we waited ages to order and then to be served our desserts. Always seems to happen at Cote Battersea Rise
