Côte Battersea Rise

Disappointing compared to previous visits. Steak cooked to a biscuit. Slow service. No one watching the station until complaint made. Later service improved and replacement steak much better.

As always the food at Cote was excellent. The only reason i dint give it a 6 was that i felt we were a little bit rushed. The food came up to us very quickly and we were not in a rush.

Lively restaurant with nice decor. Waiting staff are courteous and attentive. Orders arrive quickly. Food was delicious and piping hot. Great value for money in an easy to find location.

Terrible service - staff were totally disinterested. Food took ages, we had to keep checking where it was. When it finally did arrive, the food was nice enough but the whole experience was so disappointing, Cote is usually so much better than this, so today was a one off but really let the chain down.

Good food at a reasonable price in p!easant surroundings. Wherever I go I look to see if there is a Cote restaurant around as they all share the same high standards.

Service was good, not too fast. Plenty of nice options on the menu and the tuna nicoise was delicious. Complimentary water is a welcome touch.

As usual excellent food and excellent service. Beef bourgingon was special. Tender flavoursome beef and an appropriate amount of mash potato. The Sauvignon blanc complimented the meal well.

This was a special occasion, and I booked a table for our party, I was surprised how busy the restaurant was being a Tuesday evening and although there were only two waiting staff on duty the service although not perhaps up to the usual cote high standard was still acceptable. We chose the Battersea Rise branch of Cote as it was convenient for all of us. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. The waiting staff were helpful. The food was super, and whole evening was a complete success. Cote always offers exceptional value for money and a standard of food and is very hard to better.

An excellent meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the roasted pork belly while my friend was thrilled with his sea bass dish. The atmosphere and service were great. I love eating here, one of my favourite places. With the reasonable cost, this is the place to be.

Delicious food as always, polite and courteous staff and no rush to leave our table. A very good lunch especially with a free bottle of wine!

Really good service. Delicious fresh food and a very relaxed atmosphere. There were some children running around the restaurant screaming at one point. It would have been good if someone had spoken to them. Apart from that excellent and I will definitely return.

Rather lacklustre service on a Monday night. Had to go looking for the waitress when the place was nearly empty. The risotto which is usually excellent was too wet and mushy.

Great food, always good and a brilliant wine offer! Usually have the steak but had the mushroom chicken and it was very good. Nice staff too.

Nice evening but the duck confit, one of the special dishes, was off the menu which we weren't told on arrival, only when placing the order which is very annoying as it was my guest's favourite. It's not the first time it happens and it somewhat put the damper on the dinner. Can't the staff be trained to advise customers as soon as they arrive that a dish isn't available??

We had a lovely meal. We were treated to sparkling rose to celebrate our wedding anniversary by the maitre'D. The service was attentive and friendly.

Food is delicious, menu has a various choices and the wine list was extensive. Staff was helpful and concerned with our experience. Plus it's not overpriced. Definitely coming back.

The July set price lunch menu had delicious options this month. Both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Very good service from a friendly waiter who immediately turned the air conditioning down when we said it was rather chilly.

Good evening, with excellent atmosphere. The creme cabbage was tasteless and was not pleasant to eat. That was disappointing and meant there were only the carrots as vegetables.

The food was good, excellent steak tartare but the chicken was a touch dry the delicious mushroom sauce helped. Had a lovely bottle of rose. It's a great location and service was perfect attentive but not in your face.

We both ordered the same dish for our main course, and requested for the duck to be well done, but only mine came out right, the waiter offered to send it back to the kitchen but we were too hungry to wait.

Cote, Battersea Rise, is the best Cote restaurant I have visited so far! I am a very experienced Cote customer and have eaten in 20 Cote restaurants, from Salisbury to Bristol to Chichester and including 7 in London. Sarunas, the manager of Battersea Rise Cote made lunch today (28/6/17) a memorable and very enjoyable experience for my guest and myself. Sarunas' recommendations for lunch and wine were terrific and the service impeccable. I suggest that anyone in the Clapham area makes an effort to try this excellent Cote Brasserie.

This restaurant is located very near Clapham junction station and not far from Clapham common itself. Myself and three friends went for the early evening menu which offered exceptional value for money. The food, the service, and atmosphere were absolutely wonderful, the staff couldn't be more helpful, the food more delicious. Overall the evening was a complete success once again thanks to all the staff are making is so welcome

Really lovely setting, super friendly staff, food was delicious - an extremely pleasant evening out... We chose an outside table with sun slowly seetting - staff gave us space to enjoy our meal at our own pace but always attentive and ready to serve as/when needed with very friendly faces. Food was lovely choice - both had the set menu - nothing to fault!!

Food was delicious but aspects of the service left a lot to be desired. Several times we had to request cutlery and glasses etc. Very frustrating that that automatically add an 'optional' 12.5% service charge onto the bill, which you have to request to be removed so you can leave a tip of your choosing. Very cheeky.

We enjoyed our meal but we're disappointed to hear our waitress had been working from 9am-5pm with no break when temperatures outside are 30+ degrees.
