Food and service great. Surprisingly number of items not available - including breads. Had reserved with offer of free glasses of Kir but it still appeared on the bill
Another enjoyable meal in great surroundings, shared with good friends. One slight criticism from the ladies was that the salad, which they otherwise enjoyed, was served in warm bowls on a very hot day. This was the only reason a top score was not achieved by Côte.
Excellent as always. Good service and food was excellent and delivered in a very timely fashion. Would recommend Côte Bath and others as tried a few now
Great service once again. It was my friend's first visit and she loved it! The sea bream was delicious, and the creme caramel was very good. June menu has a very good range to suit most people.
Three of us friends went for lunch.everything was wonderful. Friendly service, plenty of water, it was a hot day! The food was delicious and excellent value.we all said we couldn't praise it enough. We all go there fairly regularly and are never disappointed.
Excellent selection of food, perfect service and beautifully prepared food. My wife and I had lunch on a very hot day but it was nice and cool in the restaurant.
My fillet steak was not the best I have had by any means, mainly due to grizzly bit one end, rest of meal and dessert were ok.
Lovely meal with efficient and v friendly service, thank you, we'll be back! Service was quick but not rushed and the staff couldn't have been nicer
Delicious food excellent value and service. Wet day so was a bit noisy at times but I would definitely go there again. Great menu choices.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Father's Day meal at Cote Brasserie. My daughter and I both had crab mayonnaise and pork belly and husband the French onion soup and lamb rump. Will definitely be back.
Very good attentive and friendly staff whose service was excellent. Varied choice of menu with great food which was reasonably priced although could do with additional beer choices. Atmosphere good. Overall pleased with evening out with family.
Food was excellent and good value and we all enjoyed it, but service very slow and then they add 12.5% for that service (which we didn't pay)
Very friendly, hugely efficient, great food. Really, what more could you ask for? Very friendly, hugely efficient, great food. Really, what more could you ask for?
very good food ambience and service makes for a good meal and cote bath provides all of these in abundance. also benefits from a lot of outside seating.
Food was great as always but the service was quite poor. We ordered wine which never arrived and had to walk up to the desk to ask for the bill.
We chose Cote Bath for a special anniversary and were truly looked after. Food was delicious as always and service exemplary. We eat at many Cotes restaurants when we travel and this is one of the best. The surroundings and layout really adds to the atmosphere.
Location, staff & all our food dishes and drinks were all 10/10. The outside seating is some of the best in Bath. Very patient with our queries. Thanks
Poor service at Cote St Katherine Docks. Had to wait a long time when we arrived to order any drinks. Generally slow service and had to wait for both the bill and then the card machine to appear. Disappointing
excellent service from the waitress but annoyed the tip is added at 12.5 per cent instead of it being a tip it becomes part of the cost. I keep forgetting this about Cotes. I have started using Pierre now
Fabulous food, service and value for money as always . Special requests accommodated without question too which makes the experience perfectly enjoyable . Sun was shining too!!
Delightful setting, on a wonderfully day. Alfresco dining on an open verandah, under an almost cloudless sky. The service was swift and extremely pleasant, from all the waiting staff on duty. The food was of excellent taste, and well presented. Will certainly recommend to others, and will return.
Nice restaurant. Shame about the inclusion of an optional gratuity on the bill 12.5% is not on.If I wish to tip, I will devide how much!
We have been to Cote a few time now and always have lovely meals. The service we had was excellent, I can recommend Cote Brasserie to all my friends and family.
Excellent standard & service! Lunch was wonderful! We love this place it's our go to on a sunday a great place to catch up with the family after a busy week
The fish parmentier was very overlooked and dry, although the starters and the wine were nice and we were given a free dessert and not charged for one main.
This restaurant has never failed us - we go regularly. Charming staff, good service, food excellent, value fine. Cote are an example to others in how to offer reliably good food while making you feel like a valued customer.
An excellent evening sitting outside in the early June evening sun - and it was warm. The service was excellent. The food was good and the general ambience was superb. Just a few things detracted from a near perfect occasion. I still firmly believe that a, so called, discretionary service charge of 15% automatically added to the bill is harsh. I don't mind tipping for good service, but when £21.00 of your £156.00 bill is a tip, it hurts a little. Asking for it to be reduced in front of friends is embarrassing, and Cote know this. Second, and more minor are those bl---y seagulls and what they leave behind. Not very hygienic and noisy too. Tyhirdl;y - oh yes! the food. My haddock wrapped in bacon was good, but overcooked.Easily done with fish.
Friendly and attentive staff who went out of there way to make it an enjoyable experience. The meal was amazing and can definitely recommend it.
Always good service at the Bath restaurant. Great choice of food and friendly staff. It's best to book this restaurant in advance as it always seems to be busy - a good sign
We were shown to a table near the window where our meal began with a free Kir Royale which was lovely. Then delicious food and excellent service - a great pre- theatre dinner.
The restaurant is in a lovely building and the surrounding fit in with Bath gernally, there is an outdoor space also for eating and drinking, sadly it was raining when we went, but warn so had the large door open, which kind of made the evening,
Nicely situated table. Very friendly and efficient service. Well presented food. Three of us had the weekend specials and the other had Haddock from the main menu. Quality of the food was referenced by the empty plates. Excellent value
A great set meal at Cote Brasserie Bath. Leek and potato soup and Mackerel and beetroot salad to start followed by haddock with chick peas and chicken and bacon salad.
The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was a little slow; they really could have done with another person waiting on the tables. You also have to factor in the 'voluntary' tip which runs to one eighth of the bill - so adding on another £6 or so to a £50 menu/drinks price. It also surprises me that for a restaurant serving French cuisine they do not automatically put bread on the table.
Always a pleasure to eat here, good food at reasonable prices with attentive efficient staff.good online booking available. Menu available on line for monthly menu changes
Côte always delivers - menu, quality, service were all excellent. The quality and standard is very good and great value for money. We were a party of 7 and we were all pleased with the experience at Côte.
We always find meals at any Cote excellent and Bath's is no exception. Last time was a lunch in November and this time an early Sunday night dinner. It was so early that we were almost the only people there - we had somewhere to get to afterwards - so it's difficult to comment on atmosphere, but the whole place is nicely designed and laid out.
The lunchtime set menu is very good value for money with a good choice. Very good service from the waiting staff. The on-line booking was very easy. Good seating outside on a sunny day.
The venue was perfect and the food was excellent -boudin to start followed by salad nicoise and calamari followed by lamb shank. Service was speedy and efficient.
Service and food not nearly as good as Clifton/Bristol. Casual service, going through the motions and the meal was clearly pared down to portion sizes and to reduce costs. surprising for Cote.
Great food, good atmosphere, only down side was waiting for someone at the end to ask about the bill (it was Sunday evening after the big rush and we were tucked away) aside from great experience
Celebrated my sisters birthday here and they were lovely enough to bring out a candle on her dessert and give it to us for free. They were also very accomodating to the vegan in our party. Will definitely be back.
Very good with friendly staff, although for older ears it was a bit noisy. A reliable restaurant with a good atmosphere. Keep it up! Thank you.
We have been to Cote Bath many times and they never disappoint. The quality of the food is very good and brilliant value for money. The staff are most pleasant and nothing is to much trouble for them We will return.
As always, a welcome on arrival, a "quietish" table as requested on booking. Cote is the only restaurant group, that consistently responds to my request, whichever branch I have visited; my level of hearing loss makes this crucial to my enjoyment of the evening. Courtesy and efficient service, added to flavoursome, well cooked and presented food, all in an attractive courtyard setting on a warm summer evening..what more could you ask? Ah yes, a very reasonable bill at the end. Tres Bien, Cote!
Excellent food and service. We went to Cote Exeter a few weeks ago and they were equally brilliant so we now know where to go for a great lunch
The service was great but the food was a little disappointing . It wasn't terrible but certainly not memorable in any way . The best words to describe it would be "very average"
Fabulous and good value food. Brilliant staff. The restuarant is delightful and has an excellent ambience. Would recommend a visit to everyone. Thank you for an excellent visit.
Great service, lovely food ... the 2 course set lunch menu is good value. Nice wine - try and sit on the balcony / terrace if you can.
We were treated well and given a free Kir Royal as it was a birthday celebration, however the food was overpriced and a main meal is all you get, no veg or potatoes etc, so very over priced and not the best quality for the price
