Côte Bath

Nicely laid out over two floors. Food as usual was good and the lunch early evening menu has a good choice at a fair price.

Food,as usual, was excellent and good value. Plates not that hot so food cooled very quickly. There was also a very efficient air conditioning fan which blew cold air onto us, so that also caused cold air to circulate around our table. We are used to the two Cardiff Cotes and the staff in Bath were not as charming or friendly, though they were just as efficient. The free bottle of Gascony Sauvignon was very acceptable and we enjoyed it.

Really had a lovely evening at Cote Brasserie. Friendly and attentive staff. Varied menu. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Perfect Saturday venu for dinner out with a friend.

Service was incredibly slow, which unfortunately left us feeling disappointed with our lunch here. Food was nice enough but nothing outstanding: salads were good but starters disappointing.

Excellent food a very well run restaurant speedy and efficient the staff are all very friendly no hesitation about going back,prices not too bad and good choice.

Perfect food and service, and redeemed our wine offer at this meal which was an unexpected bonus. Can recommend Cote Bath wholeheartedly and will return there as soon as possible

We sat outside so I don't know if this was the reason for slow service but it wasn't very good. Our first coffee was cold asked to be replace which it was much better. The food was good and tasty. When paying I did mention the service and they apologised due to a busier than expected lunchtime and lack of staff.

Great food served with flair and panache by a lovely waiter. The complimentary bottle of wine was a great promotion that went perfectly with our meal.

The Côte Brasserie is still the place in Bath to go out with friends. It's in walking distance on the centre. The meals are lovely and the prices reasonable.

Great restaurant as always, super food. They very happily accommodated our request for a birthday treat for my son and he got his pudding free! Amazing. Wonderful service.

The staff were very helpful and polite, the table and restaurant was comfortable, the meal was the lunch £11.95, for 4 people, we all had different starters and the size and quality was ok, I had rocket squash and walnuts can't say I tasted any walnuts in fact the starter didn't have much taste and no dressing. The main was fishcake with poached egg, the fishcake was certainly well cooked, and egg was just right. One of the group had brill fillet which was very good, but to pay £2.75 for six potatoes was a bit steep. The meal was ok nothing exceptional. The staff were very helpful and courteous

Brilliant food, great stuff, lovely atmosphere! Would recommend it to anyone! Definitely try french apple pie, it is amazing! We went there for a birthday celebration and couldn't have been happier!

Accoustics are bad. Although only about 50% ful, it was difficult to hold a conversation. My wife's rissoto was hot, but the plate was cold. This was pointed out to a waiter, but the response was an apology, but no offer of replacing the cold plate with a hot one. Otherwise, food and service was good.

This was our first visit to a Cote Brasserie and we were so pleased to find excellent food and excellent service. Could not fault it.

As usual we enjoyed our early evening meal at cote. Although it was a busy restaurant we were served swiftly and politely and will certainly be returning for another delicious meal very soon.

Easy to use , quick and it works! Simple instructions, not to many screens so a good experience Cote bath was a good choice, early enough to catch the specials , but with the evenings getting darker still full of atmosphere

We are very pleased with our Cote experience. The food, service and ambiance were lovely and we were offered a free bottle of wine with our a la carte dinner selections. A very good value and a very nice evening, for sure.

It was a memorable occasion as my wife and I were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary, therefore I wanted it to be special. We had previously really enjoyed the food and atmosphere provided at the Cote restaurant and for this reason I thought it would be an excellent venue for our celebration. I wasn't disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made to feel special. The service, food and ambiance were excellent and I will certainly be returning in the not to distant future. Big thanks to Steve, and his staff, who made it all very special.

Food was as lovely as always but the service for the first time ever was shocking. We waited 20 minutes before anyone even came over to take our order. Our food arrived before our drinks which we had to ask again for. I had to ask for water 3 times before it arrived. I felt sorry for the wait staff as they were practically running. The management need to not take as many covers if not enough staff to offer the service you expect at Cote. We love this restaurant and have never experienced this before and it won't stop us going back as hope it was a one off.

The service was very good and the food was tasty. The options are the same most of the time which means you can usually rely on something you know and like being available. Sometimes I wish there were some different options there too. What we had we enjoyed and it was good to be able to choose an alternative potato dish so I had boiled instead of gratin potatoes. Very good value all round. The Earl Grey tea was disappointing, as I often find it is when I am out. There was nothing about it that resembled bergamot - just like ordinary black tea really.

Just a little disappointed that had to pay extra for salad. Meal was very good value but £2.95 for a couple of tomatoes and spring onion was expensive when working on tight budget and had gone for lunch deal.

Very good food consistently at Cote Clifton and Bath Only bugbear is the intimidating 12.5% service charge, please leave it to the customer to decide that one !

Very good. Didn't like the starter I ordered but the team offered to change it, no questions asked. Good timing on coming up to ask about the food etc. Nice dinner, happy customer. Thanks.

Excellent and particularly good service . We always enjoy our visits to your restaurants and find that despite being a "chain" the standard is such that many an individual could emulate.

The staff were enthusiastic, polite, helpful and cheerful. The food excellent - cooked well and content good. Wide choice of starter and puddings on the lunch menu. The service charge was the only complaint although the small print said it was discretionary so we paid half the suggested amount.

Lovely lunch celebrating our twins 21st Birthday. Our waitress was lovely and smiley and so helpful when our table expanded from 7 guest to 11!

Very good meal - calamari, beetroot salad on the specials menu followed by the cod dish on the special menu. Excellent. Served by Callum who was very courteous and attentive. Can highly recommend.

As always it was excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and presented in a busy and friendly atmosphere. It has to be quite my favourite restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second brunch at Bath Cote. A great way to meet friends on a Sunday morning. Via email we booked our favourite table, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food delicious.

Once again we found it quite a challenge to choose what to eat because the menu contained so many mouthwatering items,My wife and I selected different dishes and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful, The wine Was a fitting accompanent,We finished with excellent coffee, Welcome was warm and service was friendly and efficient (including our waitress noticing that the bill contained an error which saved us a significant amount).Table nicely positioned and well appointed. Overall a most enjoyable lunch and we look forward to our next meal at Bath Cote,

The atmosphere was great , the food is delicious French food and the service was outstanding! One of the best places to eat in Bath with friends or as a couple .

A lovely lunch at one of my favourite restaurants in Bath. The food is always of a high standard, and it was a celebratory occasion, being my birthday. Will look forward to dining at Cote Brasserie again soon. Thank you for a special day.

Went to Côte Brasserie on Friday for a birthday meal with some friends. The service was great, very attentive waitress, which also provided good recommendations of the menu. The food was delicious, and I received a glass of Pink Cava on the house. My friends had brought along a simple surprise cake, which the staff decorated with some raspberries and chocolate sauce, not exactly what you'd get everywhere else. Overall, lovely experience. Would strongly recommend and will surely be visiting again.
