My friend and I were on a choral workshop day in a nearby church and had just over an hour allowance for lunch. Côte were aware of this and went out of their way to make sure we received our drinks and meal in good time. Excellent on all counts. Thanks Côte, you’re ace!
Food is always tasty with a good choice offering a small but well thought out menu. Food always well presented by delightful and friendly staff.
Service excellent especially considering this was a busy rugby saturday. Food very good ( as usual). The only negative being the automatic 12.5% service charge (albeit optional) so we opted for a cash tip.
Excellent dinner in Bath My husband and I have been to the Bath branch of Cote several times before and a visit this evening confirmed what a great place it is. Dinner this evening was speedily and efficiently served, and there was no problem regarding a 'special offer' (contrast this with other establishments pouring over the small print). Food was very tasty (the steak frites being a regular favourite), speedily served and (with the offer) excellent value. Will certainly go again when in Bath.
Good value normally but on this occasion the restaurant was packed and the kitchen clearly struggling. My duck was overcooked and potatoes luke warm.To be fair the meal was replaced and refunded so no complaint there. Unfortunately my mother in law had finished her meal by the time I started. All in all I would return as it was dealt with as well as it could have been.
Expensive for the quantity of food you get and drinks are excessively expensive. Not comparable with a bistro in France. Why don't you get free bread?
Food was delicious as usual and the wine very drinkable ! Service was excellent. Definitely will recommend to family and friends and will return in the future.
We had courses from the main menu. It was all lovely. The pannacotte was the best I have ever tasted. Nice atmosphere. Low lighting which added to the romantic feel.
A wonderful tasty lunch , served in very pleasant surroundings . Extremely attentive & courteous staff . Will return very soon .Thank you all 😊
Very good - quick service but good quality food. Excellent set menu for great value. Nice location and good decor on both the ground and first floor
Great atmosphere and service, fabulous food and excellent value for money. We went as a party of six and had a lovely evening, nothing was too much trouble.
Very good and tasty food - well done to Conrad, the chef, Jo the manageress and the rest of the crew. Good experience and no doubt we will visit Cote again. Thank you, Mr Z
As always, food, wine and service were perfect. Whichever Cote I visit (London, Bath, Shrewsbury, Dorchester or Cardiff), the standards are always the same. The food is prepared simply but perfectly, not messed about with unnecessary sauces (chilli etc.), the wines are well chosen, and the staff are welcoming. Sometimes, because Cote is popular, they can be crowded and a bit noisy. Finding my first Cote in St Martin's Lane in London was a good day.
Great food and service, but despite asking for 'a quiet table' we had a diner put his chair next to our table and shout continuously at his companion. Diners were all placed by the windows, the interior part of the room was empty. We eventually asked to move, which was okay and the staff apologised, but should have been aware of the situation and done something proactively.
Excellent food and wine. Would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. Only thing that spoiled visit was some rather noisy diners sitting near us.
Very nice food. Very Good service & friendly staff & surroundings. Will definitely visit again & would recommend to any one else to try it out
The setting, atmosphere and food were good and delivered exactly what was expected. There was a slight delay with the main course but our waitress took charge and apologised for the delay before we had even raised the issue. The table service was in any event very good, light, very pleasant and timely, but this awareness and taking control turned it to being excellent and better than some far more expensive restaurants we have been to.
Good food and ambiance, somewhat tarnished by ghastly woman at next table who had a voice like a foghorn to the point that we had to raise our voices to speak to each other. Nobody's fault, though: what could your staff do? Gags not available on à la carte menu, I guess! Food as excellent as ever, and staff attentive and friendly
Cote Brasserie Bath is a wonderful experience with service, attentiveness and wonderful food. Although there is also a seasonal menu the current set menu works well for all tastes and is beautifully cooked and served. For some reason I seem to be offered a free bottle of wine and this is an added bonus. I strongly, strongly recommend this restaurant for its excellent atmosphere, friendly staff and outstanding cooking. We should know as this is the 7th or 8th time in 4 or 5 years and we haver never been disappointed.
Excellent evening. The restaurant was extremely busy so I suggest you book in advance. Food and service was top notch! Will definitely return to Cote Brasserie in Bath
Really laid back vibe - yet smart and a touch of class. Great food. Ample portions - especially the gigantic cheeseboard (the waiter said he was rather surprised by it, too). Friendly staff. Good value.
The usual good standard of dishes never disappoints but doesn't excite. Main menu doesn't vary much, especially the starters, so you depend on the specials for something different. Downstairs room very noisy and tables very close together so a cacklers or a screecher on the next table can be a real downer. Went on a Friday evening and must say I much prefer going for lunch.
Excellent service from the staff, food and wine very good value. Decor and atmosphere pleasant. Although there was quite a delay waiting for the food it did not detract from a fine lunch.
Spent a lazy Saturday afternoon here with a friend, lovely atmosphere and fab service and good food at a fair price - will be back!

AS always with Cote, we had good value for money. I don't know how often the lunchtime fixed menus are changed but after three times in recent weeks, there is a danger of 'boredom'; hence the 5 rather than 6 rating.
Friendly staff and good service!! Will go back all Cote restaurants come up to the same standard! Especially enjoyed the complementary bottle of red wine!!
If you want to meet for a leisurely lunch with friends Cote Bath is the place to go. The lunch menu is ideal with a glass of wine to accompany your meal
My main course was Fish Parmentier and was over-cooked and therefore much drier than it should have. Although my starter and dessert were very good. My wife and I found the waiting staff very friendly and welcoming.
Very busy at 12.30. Ordered garlic bread & olives while we were waiting but didn't arrive until we had starters, too late really Food very good and enjoyable visit except for above.
Unfortunately the soup was cold and had to be sent back . We then had a long wait for the main course. We were kindly given free tea and coffee as compensation .
Today we were very lucky to arrive at Cote, s Bath for a meal courtesy of Quantodoors won in their giveaway competion, .What a superb meal we had with a very nice fill let steak with trimmings, followed by a very nice sweet with a coffee, also the wine was a nice savion blanc. The waitress and the staff were very friendly and helpful so all in all we had a great time in a nice warm smart restaurant hope to be back soon as possible so thank you very much Terry and Sue Wheaton.
Lovely food enhanced by the free wine offer. I had the steak frites and my husband had a starter of the liver pate followed by chicken with dauphinois potatoes. It was all cooked very well and served by a friendly and attentive waitress. My husband then managed to eat a beautiful dessert - apple tart with ice-cream. We both went home very full and very happy.
Food was great, very tasty and good value - we had the fixed price early evening menu. The service was also excellent. And I would recommend it
We've visited here over ten times and it still is great. We had a mixture of old favourites and from the specials board and it was lovely. Service was good too. We will return!
Delicious food and excellent service by a lovely waitress. My second visit to the restaurant in Bath and as good as if not better than some Cote Restaurants I have visited elsewhere in England
Good food as normal and good service. We have never had a bad meal in Cote and always find food of a consistent standard. My wife and I eat out regularly
Lovely food and great service, as always. I’ve never had a bad meal or experienced bad service at Cote. They’re consistently good across all branches.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Always good service and good choice of menu.
As usual an enjoyable occasion. The service was good as was the food. The French onion soup on a cold evening was just what we wanted and we rely enjoyed the free. Outlet of merlot!
Thank you for an enjoyable evening. Excellent variety of dishes. This was our first visit to any Cote. it will not be our last. Jeremy & Moira
Booking was very straightforward on the day, our welcome was warm and friendly and the service was excellent. Additionally value for money is most acceptable.
Excellent food, service and value especially lunch time and early evening menu, staff and surroundings first class. Will definitely go there again. Bath and Bristol equally enjoyable
First time at the Bath restaurant, but Cote regulars. Management and staff very friendly, food excellent will be visiting again with friends, family or on our own.
An interesting venue, with the usual Cote menu. Staff were good and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch. The location is not easy to find but our granddaughter came to the rescue with her I-phone !
As usual with Cote - the food was good & the staff excellent. The free bottle of wine - January offer - helped the enjoyment. In my experience, I think consistency is the word I would use for Cote.
the staff were on hand , the advice on wine accurate, the friendliness made for a relaxed atmosphere and the food was top quality at very reasonable price, thanks for making my daughter's birthday a memorable one!
Great service, food and location. Was a lovely meal for new years eve 2017. We love to eat at Cote's as we have never been disappointed.
A very enjoyable visit with good and pleasant service even though they were busy on New Year’s Eve. Our complimentary birthday a parkling wine drinks was a nice surprise.
Seating position poor. Even though I booked well in advance we were seated away from the main dining area in an extension next to a door which was used by staff to go for breaks and continually let cold air in. Service was very attentive. Food was only ok , mussels and steaks ok but other dishes were disappointing.. Cote has been our go to restaurant for special occasions but I don't think that we will be rushing back - Sorry!
