Côte Bath

Cote is the best restaurant in Bath. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the menu changes regularly and there is aways a variety of dishes to suit everyone. The quality of the menu is truly excellent. We recommend it unreservedly

Brilliant as usual. Everyone was really friendly and I always recommend it to all my friends. The service was excellent and the food up to it's usual great standards.

A very busy Saturday night at the restaurant which made it noisy and hot. The staff were polite and attentive. The food however was disappointing and sadly not at its best. My mashed potato had been kept hot for so long some of it was very hard and inedible. My pork was dry and lacked taste. The cabbage was salty! My husband faired better with lamb and accompaniments but for the price it was just disappointing.

A most enjoyable Sunday lunch time meal. The staff as usual enabled us to have a relaxing meal at a pace that was not hurried with space between courses.

It's hard to find something fresh to say about Cote in Bath because it is so reliably good. The Milsom Place area it is in has lost several other restaurants in the last year, all chains as is Cote, so Cote is clearly doing a lot of things right. Good staff, excellent service, very good food, favourites and new ideas.

As we now assume,Cote Bath offered pleasing surroundings and food which looked good and tasted good.However I must commend the leek vinaigrette with boiled egg:it was absolutely delicious and I would warmly recommend this dish to anyone.

I visit this restaurant with friends at least once a month and it never fails to please. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is always of a high standard. The Cote also has a very nice ambience and it's a pleasure to dine there.

Reliably good food and service. Lunch special menu always good value but repetitive menu. Service charge automatically added to the bill which we never pay.

A very pleasant lunchtime experience, served by cheerful young staff, based on an interesting and sensible range of menus to suit all tastes. "Good choice of wine by the glass" said the only drinker!

It was good to meet up with friends for a birthday treat and know the wine, meal and service would be of a high standard.

Its good to go out for a meal and find an extensive wine list that you can select a drink by the glass as on the visit I was driving

The set menu is a good way to dine and very good value also the wine suggestions were a help when selecting our wonderful meal.

Super evening, great location staff were very welcoming and the food was lovely and for great value! Just perfect and all before the rugby. will come again

I think that we caught the waitress on a bad day, hence there we silly mistakes with unorthodox food order, things were missing or not what we ordered, however the food was good.

Fast and efficient service especially considering how busy the restaurant was. Were helpful in terms of dietary requirements and everyone at the meal enjoyed their food.

Overall service and food first class everyone friendly and fast, only downside was having no toilet upstairs,tables cleared and cleaned quickly waiterer and waitresses very helpful

We four had an excellent birthday lunch. Cami and Harry looked after us so well as usual. Whatever you pay them should be doubled. Atmosphere buzzy and food delicious.

My wife and I went with two friends. Two of our party hade chicken, two others had duck. In both (every) case the meal was well-cooked and a delight to eat. Equally the deserts (coupe denmark and crepe) were really enjoyable. The staff were very frienly and the evening was a great success.

As usual the dishes we selected were very tasty and we'll cooked.We find Bath Cote a pleasant venue,the only criticism would be the sound of happy diners is almost deafening (a good sign of widespread satisfaction).Staff work hard but remain cheerful.A favourite lunch time destination when we are in Bath and definitely recommendable.

Consistently good food, very efficient service, sometimes a bit too quick! Have been lots of times and will continue to so. Good atmosphere and great location.

Service excellent. Choice and quality of food very good. Atmosphere great. Although gluten free it was good to have a separate menu, when the food arrived it had a GF flag in it so there was no misunderstanding. Easy to book on line.

One thing I hate about these feedback surveys is not only do they send them before you’ve even got home but also that once you’ve given a score they insist that you expand on that with a minimum number of words. The effect of this ‘customer satisfaction’ bullshit is that it drains the goodwill you felt before the survey. Brands should consider this.

Good venue, good food but we felt rushed from the moment we arrived to the moment we paid the bill and left. We made our views clear to the manager. Appreciate staff are under pressure but we don’t have the opportunity for a leisurely lunch with friends very often and don’t want to be rushed. Lessons need to be learned - this is the last surviving venue in Milsom Place, Bath.

Very poor service today at lunch time, when mentioned the girl whom I was paying said they were busy on our arrival, didn’t look like that to us. Should have removed service charge, thought of it too late. Took us 2 hours to have meal, waiting at every part of meal.

Once again, good food, good service and excellent staff. It is for this reason we return to Cotes each time we are in Bath and want a reasonable priced meal.

Not too bad. Service a bit unresponsive but friendly. Minute steak was tough and undercooked. Not quite up to usual standard. But good value overall.

Brilliant as usual. It was my birthday and the staff were all very attentive. Food was excellent. Lots of space to move - no too cramped.

New September menu excellent; the fact that Cote's set menus - there are now two - change every month means we are often tempted back. You feel less guilty about having the wonderful Creme Caramel if you share it between two of you!

Authentic French ..... lovely open brasserie-style decor ....excellent brasserie-style menu, with manageable lunch time portions .... an experience in the fine city of Bath not be missed

This was my first visit to Cote in Bath. I liked the location very much and the interior of Cote itself. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. First Class.

We chose the Plat Rapides - chicken for one and the steak frites for the other. Only half way down a glass of wine before it arrived, piping hot and absolutely perfect! As ever. It's our favourite restaurant and we have never been disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cote Brasserie in Bath. Haven't been for a while, glad I returned! Service was very efficient, there was an excellent gluten free menu on offer too. I would've given the full 6 stars, just a minor issue with main course, not enough potatoes. That said I'll def be back.

As always, a delicious meal, beautifully presented. I like Cote Brasserie because the menu is imaginative as well as good value and the atmosphere is always good. My go to restaurant, no matter what the occasion!

Delightful setting in Milsom Place for a quiet Sunday lunch on the upper terrace, which was yesterday bathed in Autumn sunshine. Attentive, helpful waiting staff serving truly delicious, well-prepared dishes. Will certainly visit again.

A lovely lunch on a busy day in Bath (University of Bath Open Day), so glad we booked. The service was efficient and friendly by new employee.

The waitress was rude. We mentioned that we are going to the theatre from the start and are limited in time. She was unfriendly and tried to tell us it is our fault the service was slow. The food was very good but the atmosphere was soured. Such an unfriendly person should not work in a service industry. The only excuse could be that as she was pregnant she might have been very tired.

Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive, with a good choice of fish dishes. Would be great if a small vegan menu was available. Great value for money.

As usual, good and well presented food and very good, efficient and obliging service in an extremely busy restaurant, so one could ask for little more.

Delicious food (as always) but the service was a little slow. Tasty starters, perfectly cooked steak with exceptionally garlicky garlic butter for mains and gorgeous chocolatey puds.

We were served by very amicable waiters and waitresses. Food was a good standard, especially for the price. Excellent location. Very good for pre / post rugby food. Would recommend.

Very good restaurant second time there,consistent service excellent and well presented food. Not sure how often the menu is changed but good choices. Will defiantly go again. Nice bottle of rose too. The one in Clifton Bristol is good too.

like all cote restaurants, excellent service, good food, reliable quality, fair price, very pleasant environment, off the beaten track. ( easy to miss it though)

Quiet period but the service and food were brilliant. Table booked for 3pm but there was no need as it was th3 after lunch lull.

The food is always varied and perfectly cooked and presented. Staff are friendly and professional, sitting in the conservatory on a sunny day is a delight.
