Côte Bath

Ate from the weekday menu, two courses £15 paying £2 extra for the steak option. Main course was lovely, served quickly and piping hot. Disappointed with the dessert, frozen berries with chocolate sauce, literally just that! A few berries straight from the freezer in a bowl with a side of chocolate sauce, no effort to dress it up! Won't be having that again, must have cost pence to serve..

As a fairly regular diner at the Cote I know what to expect and I'm rarely disappointed. The food and general atmosphere is good and the restaurant gives the feeling of being well managed. I look forward to my next visit.

We were seated promptly and our drinks arrived quickly. Our steaks were of the usual high quality and cooked exactly as we had requested. The service was professional and attentive

I met a friend for a early dinner, so we had the set menu which was good. I had the boeuf en croute which was lovely but only just warm. My friend had the haddock - it looked quite small and a bit over-cooked but she didn't say anything. I mentioned my boeuf was not hot enough to the waiter, so he upgraded our puddings at no extra cost to us which was good.

Great location but is tucked away. Always book, so your not disappointed. Food was tasty and presented well. Waiter was attentive.

Good value quality food, buzzy atmosphere. Service bit slow. Small complaint about meal not hot enough was ameliorated by Manager with free desserts & coffee. Will go again.

Another excellent meal at Cote Bath. The Food , Wine and service was excellent even though it was a busy lunchtime.

The Cote restaurant in Bath is an excellent venue. We had a super evening as we celebrated the birthday of one of our party. The ambience was fantastic and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

A lovely March sunshine lunch and inevitably this means the service slips. I can quite see it is hard for Cote when the weather is unusual for March, everyone wants to eat outside but they can't staff up ahead in case the clouds come over which means it is suddenly cold. Food as ever good, service not up to usual standards for understandable reasons, confusion over our course choices, noisy young neighbours whose business plan I didn't want to listen to. All understandable, just commenting. I'll be back often!

Unfortunately, the table that I booked was not available at the time designated (and confirmed as such), as our predecessors - at the designated table - had not left at the time expected (at leat good 15-20 minutes late). This was unfortunate as we had booked wheelchair access for our special guests (who had a long tiring day) and because my wife has an issue with hearing/hearing aids, and needs to be in a quieter location to hear properly. It seems I also, in consequence, had to approach the counter twice to 'chivvy' ordering, and then the bill. So I suspect there may be an issue in the overall management of what goes on in busy times - or when reservations do not go quite according to plans. I am conscious that individual members of staff work very hard, in an attempt to provide appropriate service.

Great venue, but in quite a hidden location. helpful staff and lovely food!

The Cote lived up to my expectations. I dine there regularly with friends or family. The food is good and the service usually friendly and attentive. I should like to see a wider choice on the fixed price menu as the a la carte prices tend to verge on the high side. Nevertheless I like this restaurant and it is deservedly popular.

A very pleasant early evening dinner at Cote in Bath. The menu gave plenty of choice and the food was just fine. Good service and a relaxing environment to enjoy before moving on for the evening. Will return.

Cote once again doesn’t fail to impress. Service was excellent and the food was well presented and arrived swiftly which for a busy lunch time service was great. They now have an optional gratuity (12.5%) which is added onto the bill that the staff actually get

We experienced the usual warm welcome we have come to expect and were able to sit at our preferred table on the ground floor. The service and food was excellent and as a surprise, happy birthday was piped onto my husbands desert plate. Considering it was a cold Sunday afternoon the atmosphere was cosy and back ground music just right.

A pleasurable dining experience. Lovely and knowledgeable staff and an ever-changing menu. It's our favourite Bath eatery. We were provided with a table that was in a quiet area and the overall experience was first class.

I always feel welcome at Cote even if I am on my own. I like to have lunch on my own sometimes with a book, some places make you feel odd, Cote doesn't. Good food, good service.

Excellent food, served quickly. The waitress was charming, efficient and friendly. The restaurant was full, but everything was done in an orderly and calm manner. Very, very god!

Really good experience, and the staff were able to satisfy our granddaughter’s food choices and my gluten intolerance equally. I’m very happy to recommend the Côte Brasserie - Bath.

As always great food and service, we visit Cote regularly at different parts of the country, it is always reliable whichever branch you go to, but we find Bath is best for us.

Only criticism is that there wasn't much crab in the crab starter. Mainly avocado. Rest of menu delicious as always. Very good service. Thank you

Good lunchtime experience at Bath Cote. In the roasted duck breast, Cote are on to a winning dish. Consistently good, but at times the duck has been overcooked. The fish stew was also very good - according to my partner. It could be improved still further by adding a wedge of lemon. The creme caramel is another excellent dish. Service efficient - helped by a less than full house.

Maria the Maitre is just so fantastic, she is welcoming, efficient and leads her team with great applomb. Food is fast in arriving and delicious. Always a nice buzzy atmosphere in the Cote at Bath.

Food,drink,service and table selection very good ,atmosphere and ambience charming. Quality of food of high standard.Menus good choice also al carte menu at reasonable prices. one minus slightly slow between starters and main course .

Another excellent meal at Cote Bath. We went for the Hake which was a January Special. It was very good and we did not require any sides as it was very filling. Service was excellent and the fish went down well with the very good Muscadet. We will return soon.

Another relaxing Sunday lunch. We had the duck that was cooked well and served by the friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restraint as always was relaxed and you are able to eat your meal at your own pace.
