Côte Bath

Absolutely fabulous meal. Lots of choice (there was a separate vegetarian menu) and great value for money. The food was tasty and hot and the service was excellent.

First visit here, very lively, but good service and lovely food!

We emerged from our post Xmas recovery (8 guests) and headed into Bath for a lunch treat at Cote. All is now well after excellent steak frites, salad, wine and coffee. Many thanks from Tony and Ruth Craig especially to Matthew ( you know who you are) see you soon for more great food and service...well done to all the staff as usual.....

Good February menu - the monthly menu change is such a good idea, brings me back often. Old favourites still there but something new to try. Not that I always do!

Although I often dine alone here, it is particularly nice to come with a friend. If you both choose from the set menu, you can share one starter, have a main each, then share one dessert - three courses each for the cost of two two-course menus. Of course the money saving tip only works because the food is so good.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Food arrived quickly after placing our order. Food excellent as always.

Booking process great, staff welcoming and the food really nice. Only down side was the garlic butter we ordered for the chicken did not arrive until we had to ask for it and it was a solid patty not technically a sauce. Otherwise not problems.

My daughter chose Cotes to celebrate her 18th birthday. The staff were amazing and really helped make it feel like a celebration. A complimentary glass of champagne for my birthday girl and bringing the cake we bought to singing her happy birthday. It really was lovely and we were so appreciative of the staffs thoughtfulness.

Lovely atmosphere, as always. Super food, as always. Great special blood orange cocktails too!

We love Cote and try to eat there every couple of weeks.

Inspite of being a busy lunchtime staff were attentive to our table.

Consistently good and tasty food, good service and polite staff, chatting but not intrusive! Always a pleasure to dine at Cote.

Most enjoyable, little confusion on which table we had been allocated. Food was excellent, service was very good. The only downside was the main course oval plates, they dont sit well on the tables swivalling about as you eat your food. The leather sofa I sat on is not good to eat food from, uncomfortable, needs cushions or removing and replaced with chairs. We did enjoy our meal and our visit.

Our reserved table was given to someone else but the alternative was probably worked out better! This is the 2nd time this has happened but everything else is excellent that’s why we keep going back

Cote in Bath is a very nice friendly restaurant with consistently good food, good service and the monthly promotions are great. Another great night at Cote last night.

1st Feb 2020 I am just over 80, have lived in Bath for only the last twenty years, found the Cote when I first came and ever since have eaten at yours at various times with friends, children and grandchildren, we all LOVE it. Reasonable in price, never too 'poncy', Staff very good, atmosphere great, food delicious - JUST RIGHT in fact, LONG LIVE the BATH Cote! Others restaurants have vanished, please make sure you stay. THANK YOU. Enjoyed this evening with one of my daughters and her husband.

Service not very friendly & incorrect bill given twice. We were seated next to where staff were making coffee & putting away cutlery so it was very noisy!

As usual the welcome and service were faultless and the food excellent.

Your offer of two course for £9.95 was very misleading as it didn't mention the cost of three courses. As a result if you had three courses the discount was £3 not £4. Very disappointed, in fact I should have stopped the service charge but that would have penalised the staff who were very good not the persons who wrote the misleading article.

This was a very pleasant evening. I was with a party of six and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I am coeliac and Cote is my "go -to" restaurant as it is one of very few which I can usually trust to provide a completely gluten free meal. Unfortunately, on this occasion, there seems to have been slight cross contamination of the food and I suffered a gluten reaction overnight. It wont stop me using the restaurant in the future but the after effects of the meal did rather spoil what was otherwise an enjoyable visit.

Very enjoyable meal, eating from your Lunch and Early Evening Menu, which provided a good choice of dishes and was good value for spur of the moment , casual dining. Staff very welcoming, attentive and provided very good service. We had not been to Cote for quite a few years, but definitely plan to return.

Quick service but restaurant a little noisy and busy on a wet Sunday lunchtime.

Restaurant had run out of tuna and lamb chops and goat cheese by our booking at 1330. Ordered cod and received a tiny piece (2"x2") in lukewarm watery sauce. Service staff clearly harangued and miserable looking, especially the member of staff in jogging bottoms talking to waiters still working. Really gone downhill... no longer recommended.

Had an amazing meal at Cote Brasserie Bath. The food was lovely as expected but the service was exceptional. They took great care over the two allergies we had and fully explained what we could and couldn't eat on the menu, along with recommendations. It was also a really lovely cosy feel and atmosphere. Would definitely return if we were in Bath again.

Food was good but the service was slow and not enough staff to cover the customers.

Food very good as always. Service pretty good considering how busy the restaurant was ( which was a surprise at lunch time). However, it was a little bit difficult to catch any wait staff’s eye. Can get very noisy in the restaurant when it’s busy. Nevertheless, a lovely meal despite these issues.

Amazing service this morning. We had a great celebration for my sisters birthday and the complimentary glass of Prosecco made it that bit more special. Thank you!

We've been going to our local Cote (in Bath) since it opened and they continue to set consistently high standards. We always have a good time here. If we didn't know otherwise, we wouldn't believe this to be one of a chain. We find the welcome is more like a privately owned restaurant, the service is always great, and the brasserie-style food and wine are always excellent value. Christopher and Lindy Wright
