Côte Bath

I eat regularly at this restaurant throughout the year. The food is always good and cater for those who require gluten free. I can not fault the service. However, you ask why only 4 stars. As soon as the sun comes out and you start serving outside as well as inside the service is slow, below the usual standard. Unfortunately, the star rating given reflects this visit.

Excellent food and very good customer service. Plenty of choice. Good atmosphere. I booked table online for five of us and table was ready and waiting.

Always leave laughing after a most enjoyable evening with good sense of humour from the staff; always excellent well trained staff; food of high standard. The standards never change, this is why we are regulars.

We have visited Cote in Bath many times. Everything about it makes us keep returning. Great food, friendly staff. My husband loves that you sell pelforth which he can only get in france.

We had a lovely waiter and the food was very tasty. Thankgod for directions on my phone as it’s in a lovely position but tucked away. Definitely book, we saw several people turned away as they were fully booked.

We were greeted and passed upstairs to be greeted again and ushered to our seats by the window having requested same. Menus were issued quickly and after prompt we then ordered our main courses of Calamari/Chicken Salad/Moules Frites. All dishes arrived fairly soon after ordering and were very good. The quality of food is good and the pricing spot on. If any criticism it is the obligatory 12 and half per cent service charge which takes away the felexibility of giving what you believe the service is worth.

Lovely relaxed meal. The Breton steew was excellent and the Negrini cocktails very tasty.

Cote is consistent in providing an excellent menu that changes regularly. Always well prepared and of great value. It's our favourite, that is why we are regular in our visits. Another great asset is the quality of staff they are always welcoming, cheerful and helpful. A great lunch. Thank you.

very busy, which we did expect being Mothers days, my husband has booked... and we were booked upstairs,, we headed upstairs to be told they were just laying up our table... as it wasnt ready... and were advised our table wasnt ready, there seemed to be another family up there, who were also waiting for a table... we heard the waitress say to them.. well we are giving you this table now... and sorted them and then came back to us and told us our table wasnt available... however they had a table downstairs, ... or we could wait for another table.. so that was pretty disappointing, we then headed back down the stairs to be sat down... overall aNice meal .. service was good, just put a damper on things, going upstairs where it was clearly more spacious and not so crammed, to then head back down the stairs to be seated....

Service was good as well as the food. Goats cheese starter and Pork belly main particularly tasty. It was quite noisy when we arrived at 7:30 but by 9pm is was much quieter and we could chat easily with our friends. Would be great to see a medley of vegetables as a side option.

Really good French cooking. Don't forget to try the boeuf bourgignon a revisited version worth to taste. Also the onion soup really delicious. And also available for gluten free guests. Top!

Excellent and accommodating service. The menu is fantastic and the food served was delicious. Cote brassiere never disappoints and is the best chain restaurant that I will always visit.

Good service, lovely food, generous servings and value for money

Had dinner here prior to a trip to the Theatre Royal. Location a bit hard to find but when we got there had a very enjoysable experience. Food was excellent.

The service and food was exemplary. Will definitely be booking again. My wife and i thorougbly our meal and would definitelty recommend. Five stars from us!!.

On the way to the theatre with friends. Lovely meal from a large carte menu. Enjoyed the free gin drinks. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Men's toilet needs deep clean and some TLC though. It's looking tired but wouldn't take much to get it back to A1 condition.

A very enjoyable breakfast with lovely coffee and choice of foods and with helpful and attentive members of staff and generous as well as it was a birthday for one of our party

The guy who greeted us was very rude. We had a toddler who was very tired so asked for a booth table. He argued with us and wasn’t accommodating at all. Finally agreed to change our table to a booth as long as it was back by a certain time which was fine for us anyway if he’d have just said this from the start! For this reason we didn’t leave a tip. But everything else was fine lovely food great waitress.

We visited the restaurant tonight and once again Had a lovely meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 guests 😊 we will be back next week!

It was one of the best all round restaurant eating experiences I can remember!

Had a lovely meal this evening. Moules and Calimari followed by Poulet and Fillet steak, all delicious and perfectly cooked.Very good service as usual and great vfm.

We had a lovely meal. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and the food and wine were excellent too. It was an ideal venue for an early dinner before a concert at The Assembly Rooms.

We went for breakfast and were not disappointed. My husband had the full English, which was very good, despite the bacon being overdone, whilst I had the crêpe with bacon and gruyère cheese. It was like being back in Brittany. Really nice and friendly staff. Good value for money, would recommend.

We eat at the Bath Côte regularly and normally I would give 6 stars. However, whenever this restaurant starts seerving at the tables outside the service goes down hill. If this was my first I would think twice about returning. When serving outside please have more staff working. The staff working today we’re doing there best but we’re rushed off their feet. The presentation of the food served today also looked rushed. Feel for the staff

Great table with lots of space. Attentive staff and lovely food. Quiet chill out music in the background which made for a relaxed feel. Very enjoyable afternoon treat.

I find Cote Bath & Bristol always very good, the staff are always very attentive & polite.

The service was excellent one of our party was vegan and was offered a great choice of food. Our waitress could not have been more attentive as usual food was superb

Great food, great service, great value, we had a lovely Valentines meal at Cote this evening. Thank you to the staff for keeping our table open whilst we were stuck in traffic it was very much appreciated.

Great good and service as always. It was the first time for my friends and they loved the whole experience. Bath location is really lovely one of the best locations in my opinion.

Initially we had to wait for the table to be cleared when we arrived 5 mins early for our reservation which we found a little stange just waiting around for six minutes in the way of everybody entering the restaurant. In previous times we have been shown to a table staright away. The food we ordered for breakfast came within 15- 20 mins after ordering and was reasonable but not outstanding

The service was impeccable as always and the food choices very good. No complaints except that my pasta was a bit under cooked. That wasn't a problem for me personally, but someone else may have complained. Would also say that the music was a bit loud, and I am not a fan of 70s rock. Again, a personal observation.

Lovely venue good food, staff always smiling. A great place to celebrate any occasion or just a meal for no particular reason. Can be a bit noisy downstairs upstairs is quieter.

It was good that our request for a quieter part of the restaurant was observed. Service was good, food up to an excellent standard as usual.

The food was superb. Sadly service when we arrived was not. We were shown to our table and then left waiting for over 15 minutes before the waitress came to take our food order. We were not asked if we wanted drinks. The food then arrived without a side and I had to chase for it after 5 minutes.

As usual, I enjoyed dining at the Cote. Service prompt, food tasty and cooked to perfection. The fixed price meal has a good choice and is reasonably priced. I look forward to my next visit.

This is a brilliant restaurant in the heart of Bath. There is an excellent choice of meals and drinks all sensibly priced and beautifully presented by friendly courteous staff. If you want a reassuringly good breakfast, dinner or lunch with definite French finesse you will not be disappointed.

The staff had the right level of being attentive and a special day was made to feel so. The food was delicious and I especially loved my pudding. Thank you

We very much enjoyed sitting outside in the spring sunshine. The complimentary G and T's were great but we asked for olives as an accompaniment which were rather late in arriving. Main courses were very good and so was the service.

I had moules for starter with lovely sauce but was given no bread to mop up ? sea bass was generous and lovely. swordfish needed seasoning but the dish was bland with little taste.
