Always good value. Not exceptional but reliably consistent. Food was good and the sides very good. Nothing intimate or atmospheric. Wouldn’t class as romantic...but very predictable which isn’t a bad thing!

Lunch was brilliant from the glorious endive and Roquefort starter to the sumptuous coupe noire. A very nice gin and sparkling wine cocktail set the meal off on the right note.

Great, food, drink, service and value, I would love to return and enjoy all over again.

We just love eating there, food is superb and very good value considering the quality of the menu. What more can I say, just go and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Garlic bread never arrived pre starters, mushroom sauce missing with chicken dish that was tiny. Portions are small!! Staff lovely and friendly but not sure we’d go back as expensive for what it is.

This restaurant offers Excellent food, great service and very much value for money. We Have recently eaten in Cheltenham and Wokingham Côte and all We can Highly recommend.

Excellent breakfast and lovely serving staff. Overall a super experience. The set price breakfast is great value and teh portion size is just right for brunch.

We had a delicious lunch for four on a cold day. We were greeted warmly and ushered to a table upstairs. Our waitress was charming and helpful and the four choices of moule frites, steak frites, seafood parmentier and goats cheese salad here all beautiful prepared and delicious. We shared two desserts between the four of us. This is perhaps the 12th time we have eaten here over the past 6 years or so. Highly recommended.

Very nice food and staff were friendly but not hugely efficient. Quite hard to get their attention and had a long wait trying to pay so got up and paid at the bar. Probably wouldn't be an issue if I was not with kids.

The food and service were very good but both tables we were offered for 2 were cramped and poorly positioned. The Veal was as always delicious.

We had our meal here for Mothers Day and the food was fantastic. I'm so glad we sat upstairs as it was quiet, downstairs seemed a bit chaotic and noisy, but I'm sure it's not like this all the time. Staff were very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend

Food was tasty and enjoyable however the whole meal was ruined by the staff. We asked for sauces and received completely different to what we had asked and paying the bill was a nightmare. We had decided due to the poor service we were not paying the optional gratuity added to our bill but when our change returned it had been taken. On querying this, we saw the manager laughing with staff about it and they still failed go return the correct amount of change. When we went to see the manager to discuss the incorrect change and obtain what was owed, he was rude and interrupted our explanation of what we had paid. There was no apology for getting things wrong and it was a terrible customer service experience. If you want an enjoyable meal, please go somewhere else.

Lovely food, great service, the only criticism would be that some of the food wasn't hot although still very tasty. There was a delay being offered drinks before food orders were taken but that said it was busy. We all had a lovely experience and it certainly wont put us off coming back again.

Came here for mother’s day lunch and whilst it was busy service and food were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

Really great food. Well above expectation. Don't expect that quality from a chain but it really was fantastic really. Well done Cote.

The food, service and ambience generally were excellent. It was reasonably good value. It would be helpful if waste bins were to be provided around the place

The staff had helped me so much when I was there with my partner they were so on hand and nothing was too much trouble I come to this restaurant every time I’m in bath and will certainly continue coming

The food was great and the staff very friendly, not rushed which is always a bonus, we did not wait long for our food although they were full so good job we booked, always a good thing to avoid disappointment if you just drop in. Would highly recommend.

Delightful location - tucked away courtyard yet in the centre of Bath. Cotes menu always to our liking. Warm friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Very good value set lunch, food was enjoyable. Sadly service was a bit slow and one main course not hot enoughBUT Manager apologised and gave us free desserts and coffees. Have been before and will go again.

The food was beautifully cooked, light and tasty. There was a warm and welcoming ambience but the restaurant was quiet enough to hold a conversation with friends without straining to hear. The service was very pleasant. We will go again soon.

Lovely food but very slow service once finished mains. Appeared to be after staff switched shifts, our plates were not cleared after the mains and were not offered a dessert option, despite being part of a set menu. We would have had a dessert if we had been tended to, however due to the wait (over 20mins) we instead had to go to the bar to ask and pay for the bill. A shame due to lovely meal otherwise.

Excellent food and good service made for a lovely hassle free leisurely family lunch. One of Bath’s better dining experiences which often promise much yet disappoint. Recommended.

A lovely lunch in Bath with an old friend. The butternut squash soup was delicious and plentiful. The ‘steak frites’ was tasty. The chips were a little undercooked but nothing major.

Delicious complimentary cocktails of the month (we used our email booking promo), excellent service, delicious food, great value. This was perfect for a pre-theatre meal. Will definitely come again.

A regular customer of the Cote chain, this is the 3rd time I've eaten at the Bath restaurant. I ate from the 2 course menu £15, choosing the steak option for an additional £2. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. I ordered the frozen berries with chocolate sauce for dessert, literally what I got! A few berries straight from the freezer with a pot of chocolate sauce on the side. No effort made to present it in an appetising way, this could only have cost a few pence to prepare. I was rather disappointed, will definitely steer clear in the future! Staff were friendly and attentive without being overly so.

Another great meal and experience generally, tthough the smoked salmon wasn’t the best I’ve had at Cote but it normally is excellent. Great staff and ambience.

The staff were helpful when we needed anything. The setting was romantic. Our meals were very well cooked, although I had to ask for my tuna Nicoise to be cooked more as I don't like it pink. My daughter's crepe was delicious but a bit too cheesy. She should've ordered a side salad. My son's minute steak had a few chewy bits in it. I disagree with the automatically added 12.5% gratuity, especially as it wasn't highlighted on the bill. I would have given the staff an optional 10% tip. Overall, I'd definitely go again!

Quick breakfast for the family on a Sunday morning. Their all in menu complete is very reasonably priced and the food is tasty and hot. The Bath restaurant is quite big, so generally there is space, even this morning when the Bath half is on. The menu has a good variety of breakfast options so pleases everyone.

Choice was great. Food was of a very good standard and servings were just right. The service was lovely but quite slow. I think you should serve a small salad with the steaks. I don’t like when you have to purchase sides to complete a meal - they should be an addition. Overall lovely evening - I’ll be back.

I brought my Mum here for Mothers Day on a recommendation from a friend. She had said the food was really good and she was spot on. We had decided to share a starter of crab mayo, which was delicious and plenty for the both of us. Mum had the roasted pork belly for main whilst I had Pan fried duck breast. The pork belly was delicious and didn't stint on the crackling, it could have done with being on some kind of trivet in the oven though as the bottom was very tough. The duck was also delicious but the menu did make a point to note that it was served pink, it may have been pink when it was plated but as we had to wait for quite a long time for our mains to come out (2 other parties that arrived after us were well tucking into their main courses while we were still waiting for ours) I suspect it may have been left under the warming lamps for too long. I have to say though, it was still delicious if slightly tough and our server was very apologetic that we had too wait. We decided to share a dessert and chose chocolate fondant as it is something Mum had never had .... I didn't get a look in, it was very good. All in all Cote Brasserie was worth the visit and I would definitely go again but would avoid 'the invisible table' lol. One thing I also feel might be worth a mention, although it didn't bother me particularly as I was going to leave a tip anyway, the gratuity is added into the total amount when the bill is brought to you and you have to ask them to remove it if you don't want to pay it. As I said, not a problem for me but it might offend some.

As always the food was excellent. We had scrambled egg and smoked salmon sprinkled with chives. Delicious. The service was up to usual standard - nicely attentive without being intrusive. The weather was georgeous and we sat beside the open window looking out over the spire of the nearby church. A wonderful start to our day in Bath. Thank you.

Dining at Cote in Bath is always, for me, a really good experience. Monthly menu changes are interesting, special menus are good value, service and ambience really pleasing.
