Côte Bath

I always love Cote. Consistently good food at reasonable prices, great wine and service! What's not to like? I will be there for lunch on Saturday. Looking forward to more of the same. Keep up the good work.

Warm welcome and excellent service, we both had the steak and frites unfortunately my steak was over cooked however when this was noted to the waitress it was immediately remedied. Excellent! Thank you all Robert WGD

Excellent food and drink - had olives and steak frites, crepe and kir royale. Service was very fast and the staff were very attentive. Just excellent.

We were warmly welcomed to Cote and our table was nice. Good service throughout our and I think everyone in our party was happy with the food. I think we probably spent more than we had planned though!

Good but my main course was a little burnt and my friend's steak was on the tough side. The service was first class, efficient and friendly.

Great lunch and we all enjoyed the drinks of Kir Royale to help celebrate both the birthday of my old friend and myself. We plan to meet up again in Cote Cirencester for lunch in January.

Great food as always , very busy so service was not the best , wrong drink served and took long time before correct one was brought .Had to ask for soup spoon which took long time too , hence soup luke warm before it could be eaten . Not the best experience

really fruendly and helpful service. the waitress suggested the formule breakfast options and one of us chose the vegetarian option but with a non veg sausage! still v yummy

We had a very relaxing evening. Nice atmosphere and great food. All four in our party were in complete agreement that it was a great place to visit. Thank you all at Cote.

A very nice meal. The staff, as always, are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. A visit to Cote Bath is always an occasion, not just a meal out.

We had a very nice lunch and they had extended their autumn offer of a free bottle of wine. The food we chose was very nice and the service was friendly and personable. When my friend pointed out it was my birthday the waiter brought 2 glasses of fizzy which was very generous indeed.

The food is very good, delicious, lovely flavours. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. I like the menu very much as there were many dishes that appealed to me.

As usual the service was excellent, the food terrific and great value for money. Our go to restaurant in Bath! Can't recommenit it highly enough.

Ate at Cote, Bath for first time. We are regulars at Cote, Exeter. All very good food as usual. Gave 5 out of 6 this time as the mussels, although in the usual excellent sauce, were a bit small and on the dryish side. Actually, the breaded calamari starter was a bit on the greasy side. steak good, Chocolate pudding delicious. Love eating at Cote.

Very good service-minded staff- we were well looked after and the meals were very tasty and good value. The only issue which stings a bit is the automatic (so-called ‘optional’) 12.5% service charge. Probably worth it but I’d rather decide by myself what level of tip I’d like to give.

First class lunch with excellent service. The Cote restaurant in Bath is one of the best venues that we have been to. Will definitely return.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. The food was good. Enjoyed the calamari and tuna nicoise and lemon tarte. Had cider which was not the best. Staff were all friendly

Cote continues to be an excellent venue for good quality food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is always buzzing and the staff are always attentive and helpful. We visit Bath regularly and usually end up in Cote before heading home.

Staff very welcoming and friendly - as usual. Food ( early evening menu ) and wine are excellent value and well cooked - offers more choice than the immediate competition.

We enjoyed good quick service and pleasant surroundings, this is a good venue for meeting friends. But a limited and unexciting choice of vegetarian dishes.

We always enjoy visiting Cote in Bath for the food, good value house wine and really good service in equal proportion. Unfortunately we not get a name for our waiter who told us that he has a flat in Bath, looks after a younger brother at university and speaks almost forgotten good English with entirely appropriate humour ! If you are able please pass on to him a message that it would seem the nearest French for 'crumble' is probably 'crumble' we will be very pleased. Altogether another bonne experience. Really lovely French food, I have never had a bad meal here and the staff are always great too. Nice for a romantic meal or cosy evening with friends.

Great food, had the lunch time menu, very reasonable price, great atmosphere and even though it was quite busy we were in no way rushed, and spent a very pleasant 2 hours eating our food.

Very pleasant modern brasserie feel with excellent service. As a couple, we were given a lovely large table and service was quick, friendly and efficient.

We visited, as we have done many times before, for a pre-theatre dinner and had the Early Dinner Set Menu (last orders 7.00p.m). The menu is restricted (about six starters and six mains) and rarely changes much but is very good value at £11.50 for two courses. The Steak and Frites are usually reliable and the service is generally fairly good, although there are the occasional lapses. When told that you have to be out in time to get to the theatre, most servers will do their best to ensure that you get out in time but a few seem to take the attitude, "Well, that's your problem!" The service is usually pretty brisk anyway, because they are very busy most evenings and want the table back.

We had lunch today. There was a great choice of menu. The food was absolutely delicious and incredible value for money. The staff were superb - very welcoming, very efficient and could not have been more charming. First class! Loved it! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our pre-theatre dinner this evening at the Bath Cote Brasserie: excellent food, delightfully served . Great value and definitely worth another visit.

A lovely restaurant. Delicious food, really reasonable prices. Impeccable service, really attentive without being intrusive (which nowadays is a rare quality). I highly recommend this restaurant to all the people who want to to feel like in France for a day.

Excellent value set menu as always. Superb langoustines and the French Onion Soup (not on the set menu) was good and warming on a cold rainy night. Waiting staff were very good. One minor criticism - the hake dish could have been hotter.

Just the job! What could be better on a wet day than a relaxing delicious meal in Cote. We booked on the spur of the moment, using a special offer, and were very pleased with our decision. Food and service were good.

Fairly quiet [for Cote!] but some menu items not available. What we chose was good, though. New restaurants in Bath come and go but Cote still leads.

I felt the waitress was too much in a hurry to get us out of the restaurant. We sat at 6pm by 6.20 we had eaten starters and the main meal had been put in front of us. We tried to sliwbthe service down asking for a break after the mains. Food was excellent as always.

Great friendly and fast service. Didn't feel rushed but plates were speeded away as soon as we were done. Great menu, decent prices for what is on offer, and lovely atmosphere.

We came early evening for a pre theatre meal.The food was delicious food. The atmosphere was relaxed. The service was efficient and friendly service. It was a great start to our evening. We could not ask for more.

We had an excellent meal in a super setting. The service was very good and the food and wine was super. My wife really enjoyed her beef bourguignon and she's a tough judge being trained herself and my roast chicken was very good too. We'll certainly come again.

A very good early (5-30pm) dinner at Cote in Bath prior to a theatre visit. My minute steak with frites and iced berries were delicious, whilst Cote Rewards scheme contributed a complimentary bottle of wine to our meal - thus making it very affordable!

Great French food, attentive and friendly staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. A really relaxing and enjoyable evening. Ever changing menus and particularly love the list of specials.

Food was, as usual, good. Service, as usual, was good. Only very minor thing was a couple of items on the menu had run out.

As always great food and atmosphere. The staff are beyond excellent even when they are clearly struggling with the number of customers. A busy full restaurant is always I feel the sign of a popular venue.

Amazing food and service, service charge that was added on was a little steep though ! Overall amazing though, will defiantly return, best prosecco I’ve ever had !!!

The staff were really polite , friendly and made us feel immediately at ease, The food is always of a good standard and I particulaly like the creamy mussels.

We had a very enjoyable dinner. The waitress offered to ask the kitchen to prepare it as quickly as possible because my wife and 7 year old daughter had been in London all day and were tired. She remained attentive throughout the dinner. An enjoyable experience.

As usual an excellent meal served with a smile at a price that is more than acceptable. I would recommend Cote to anyone who enjoys a meal in an above average chain restaurant.

Had a brilliant lunch today in Bath. Met a friend and my son. They really catered to our need for speed so my son could get back to uni for a class and brought his hot meal in seconds flat! We stayed on and had a great time with prosecco, starters, and mains. Brilliant hot plates of hake and yummy pear and endive salads. Thank you for a lovely birthday lunch!
