Côte Bath

Food lovely if a little rushed, went for the pre 7pm 3 course menu. Love cote but hate the 12.5% service charge , it feels awkward not paying it and really puts the price of the meal up. Always leave a tip, but much prefer to do it independently of the bill.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble like getting us a taxi at the end of our meal. The food was delicious as always!

Good food and ambiance; pleasant, friendly staff, attentive service, particularly given how busy the restaurant was and good value for money. Have been before and will certainly visit again.

We had family staying for the weekend and went for family breakfast. It was great, the food, the service the ambience and everything was just right. You couldn't fault it and I recommend you try it also.

Great food and great service, very enjoyable . Everything worked out well for our anniversary. Will definitely have dinner at Cote again, when we get back home.

Great menu and efficient service, had a mix of the set menu and specials, all well cooked and piping hot. Great choice before or after the theatre

Good meal but the staff were not as friendly and attentive as we have experienced at other Cote Restaurants. Bill was incorrect and needed changing.

We were a table of 6 we had to send a starter back as it was inedible and 3 mains as they were cold. However the staff were excellent in the way they dealt with it. Very apologetic and resolved it efficiently. We eat here regularly and know this in not the norm so will be returning and would recommend.

We felt quite hemmed in and rushed on this busy lunch time. The food was alright but not great. I had the grilled chicken which didn't have any flavour and was quite rubbery. The other person I was with had the chicken leg which he said was ok, the sauce was a bit tastier. The waiting staff were efficient but brusque though smiled when they remembered.

Nice food, good service, nice atmosphere and ambience. However, slightly overpriced and small portions of food. I had the chicken and wasn't really full afterwards.

Good visit although several dishes were off the early evening menu answers not given alternative. Staff were attentive and pleasant, would think twice about making a return visit, as this is not the first time a limited menu has been experienced!!

Great value valentines menu - great quality and choice matched with supet service in a nice venue. The paired wine flight was a nice touch as well!

It was a Fantastic meal. service was 5 star and this our favourite place to go for good quality food. been lots of times and it never disappoints.

Always enjoyable. Attentive, friendly staff but never feel rushed. Lunch time menu is good value for money. Excellent for ladies that lunch, maybe a bit light for those with large appetites.

My boyfriend wasn’t feeling very well, and shortly after ordering we decided we needed to go home. The staff were really understanding and packed up our food to take home. The gentleman who brought our bill insisted we needn’t leave a tip. Fantastic service from the staff at Cote Bath!

Delicious food, prompt friendly service, excellent value for money. They were very busy catering for many who were needing to leave in time for the rugby match..... a job well done!

When all the neighbours are struggling and empty or closed Cote Bath still delivers the goods. Just had the umpteenth excellent meal. Charmingly served and deliciously good value. Will be back. Michael.

Great service as usual, the cod gudgeons ordered by my partner were a tad over cooked making them rubbery! This is unusual: we have been impressed be the food quality constantcy on past visits.

On arrival there was a friendly welcome. There was a good choice of food on the early evening menu. Meal was delicious. Good value for money.

Order aperitifs and apetiser, one was not available then apertisers were delivers after aperitifs we’re finished. They then delivered the starters whilst when we had only just received appetisers which we had to send back. Table was not cleared when Starters arrived second time round. Order coffees which one had to be sent back as it was cold and very little coffee flavour

This is the third Cote Brassiere we have been to. The food is always good and the staff are always happy and helpful. Good value for the money and a good wine list as well.

Booking on line was effortless. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, despite the restaurant becoming increasingly busy. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our different selections from the menu. Overall, an extremely enjoyable lunch. Thank you.

Beautiful setting, fine food and excellent service. Cote has a fairly extensive menu and the quality of food doesn’t disappoint. For a classy evening meal it’s hard to beat.

My friend's meal was perfect but unfortunately my food was not up to usual standard. However staff were very apologetic and soon sorted out problem and replacement meal was soon provided.

We enjoyed our evening meal and the meal was outstanding. The staff were very helpful when selecting our wine and meal and the location is perfect in the town centre.

Good food, wine and service as usual at Cote, Bath. The handling of the 12.5% gratuity however somewhat spoiled our experience at the end of an enjoyable evening. It didn’t feel ‘optional’ as it had automatically been added to the total amount I was expected to pay when I was handed the credit card machine. Is this a change of policy? If so, I suggest Cote reconsider this approach.

As always staff very good. A bit dissapointed with beetroot starter as was my friend. Think I have had this before but with actual goats cheese rather than just dressing. Everything else good. The later part of the evening spoilt by a rowdy table of six, making conversation difficult. Would have liked staff to have managed this in some way.

Wonderful food! Good service & a lovely afternoon. We love the atmosphere in Cote Bath and in the summer sitting outside in the courtyard- we could be in France!

Busy Saturday lunch service. Lovely food, nice atmosphere and good service on the whole but slow and inattentive at points. Would still come again though.

Very friendly, attentive and efficient staff. We had the a la carte menu and the food was first class. Cote offers some of the best value in Bath.

We experienced Excellent attentive service. Our food was very good with very good portion size. The whole experience was certainly inhanced by the January offer of free wine.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch,with a free bottle of Merlot. I had a chicken pâté for starters, and my husband had garlic bread which he found somewhat heavy. We both had mushroom and spinach crepes, which were much enjoyed. After that we finished off with coffee, not being able to cope with desserts.

the meal was brilliant - but I don't agree that gratuity should automatically be added to the bill - especially at 12.5% by doing so you leave the customer to feel uneasy by having to raise the issue in a crowded room and putting them in an awkward position

Very good meal. My fish parmentier was a bit too lemony but they very kindly did not charge us for our puddings. My companion said his roast rump of lamb was one of the best meals he had ever eaten.

Everything about our visit was amazing, the food, the service and the atmosphere! It was a perfect choice for a birthday dinner. Would highly recommend to everyone!
