Côte Bath

Very nice meal and good atmosphere. Only thing to watch for is a 12.5% service charge added to the bill. Worth doing the early bird deals.

Great service, very friendly staff and lovely food (which we have come to expect from Côte). The separate menu for vegetarians is an added bonus.

Service was poor with the food & wine --- also had to ask three times to pay the bill. The food was very average. So I would not be going back in a hurry.

Cote Brasserie Bath is consistently enjoyable. The food is delicious and well cooked and the waiting staff are always friendly and professional. We always go there for lunch when we are in Bath.

The first time we have visited this branch of Cote. The usual high standard and excellent value from the “set” menu. Beautifully cooked and presented lunch enjoyed by the 4 of us.

As usual a very tasty meal. The service was efficient and timely. We enjoyed the complimentary seasonal gin and tonics. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Great Food and service as always. very welcoming staff. the chef clearly knows how to cook simple yet tasty food. not overly pretentious and very reasonably priced.

Enjoyed the evening, service good, only problem nothing at all to do with the restaurant. Was the noisy aggressive seagulls that just made a mess and constantly screeching through our service. Landing on tables and umbrellas. They may be protected, but they are dirty vermin.

I had duck & orange salad as a main which was a bit sparse on the salad. Fruit Pavlova was to die for. Service very good.

A very pleasant experience. The food was good and the staff attentive. Sitting outside was lovely although in this present heat it seemed a little hot inside. I would certainly go again.

We are big Cote fans. Today’s experience in Bath was exceptional the food was the best we have eaten in any Cote for a while. Service is always good in all Cote restaurants.

Lovely evening sitting outside on the terrace. Very pleasant staff. Quick service but we did not feel at all rushed. We all thought our meals were very good.

A really lovely experience as always but we had a couple of problems with our food (my Breton fish stew was very very greasy and my mum's seafood spaghetti was hard and stuck together in places) - turns out they had a new chef and it was his first day! No excuse really but the service and atmosphere was great so we didn't let it spoil our visit too much. Disappointing but we will be back :-)

As always, excellent friendly service and good food. Shame about the wretched Gulls and the council should be more supportive in dealing with these seaside pests.

A very disappointing experience at one of my favourite places to go for lunch! Slow and indifferent service. Overcooked poussin (a special - completely out of their signature chicken!) Hoping its a one off ..........

Food excellent and general atmosphere great but service was rather slow We had to keep asking to speed up because we were due at the theatre , and overall we had thought that 1 and 1/2 hours was enough time for 2 courses .

Excellent in virtually every way. Only negative comment: goats cheese salad bland and rather uninteresting. Service very attentive but could have been a little speedier.

Wonderful staff and location in the centre of Bath. The food was first class and served to our requirements. We enjoyed the wine list and it was not overly expensive.

Very good lunch starter and main course. We would have had dessert and coffee but restaurant very busy and we had to leave for another appointment

This is an excellent restaurant and I would certainly recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and there is a lot of choice on the menu.

Extremely polite and attentive staff make dining a pleasure! Food was good value and quality. Whole experience was happy and relaxed and will definitely keep on coming!

Good food, good service. Slightly spoiled by a chap at the next table talking very loudly. Not Cote’s fault! Will definitely go again. Enjoyed the Pampelle spritz.

The weather treated us well and we were able to sit outside in the courtyard. We had an excellent meal, with first class friendly service. We will certainly eat here again.

An excellent ambiance with superb food as ever, carefully prepared and well presented. Servers efficient and friendly especially our waitress from Romania with whom we had a lovely chat.

I dine here regularly with family and friends. Cote Brasserie provides good food, good wine and good service at reasonable prices. It is conveniently located in Milsom Place and I recommend it.

A wonderful seat outside on the terrace....extremely charming and helpful staff... Very good food and wine....good value....we will come again! But the gulls were worryingly close!

A very nice lunch in the courtyard. Highly recommend the summer lunchtime menu - we had mackerel and poached egg, artichoke salad, plaice with braised summer veg and couscous with grilled veg. Lovely!

A great courtyard location in central Bath. Good food with the set menu options providing excellent value. Good service to match but watch out for gulls! BANES need greater determination and imagination to sort the problem which affects restaurants all around the city.

Lovely light supper on a very hot day where we were able to sit outside in the shade. Summer menu was perfect and waiter very attentive.

Excelent food and service as usual. Food prepared to order so some waiting but well worth it. Staff are excellent and quick to serve and clear empty dishes.

As usual we enjoyed our meal,the friendly and helpful staff,(well done Rosie)and tasty food.In particular we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious aperitif---gratis on this occasion.Wine eminently suitable for the salmon.Location just about perfect on a rather hot Saturday.Can a better way be devised before an outstanding performance at the Theatre Royal.Well done Bath Cote.

As usual, a good lunch time venue. Reasonably priced 'specials' menu. Score marked down as rather a lot of dishes were unavailable. "................ ...... ....

We eat here often and ambience, food and staff always excellent. Lovely outdoor seating area with plenty of shade. Chose from the fixed price lunch menu which is fantastic value and great quality, with a very nice bottle of rose wine to accompany.

The atmosphere at lunchtime was busy (it was a graduation day so lots of celebrating families) but not too noisy, and I was offered a choice of where to sit. Staff were polite and attentive, and the food was excellent and very good value for money. I would happily visit again.

The service is always excellent and the food is always tasty. Quickly served. Pre theatre and esrly evening especially goid value. Good value and wine is not overpriced for a restaurant.

Once again a good experience. Staff always pleasant and in this hot weather it's not an enviable job. Took the trouble to do the tuna for tuna nicoise very rare, as requested.

We managed to get a table on the terrace for lunch. So wonderful and the food was delicious. Great service and a good price. Highly recommend.

On our trip to Bath this time we went to Cote 2 days running and have been on a previous visit to Bath. Love it there! Great relaxed atmosphere, no rush to finish your meal; food is delicious; our waitress was friendly and helpful as are all the staff. Would highly recommend!

We had a very good supper, sitting outside, before going to the theatre. Tables cannot be booked outside, but we were lucky there was one available.

Great location and food but the thing that makes it better than other cote restaurants is the staff in Bath - they are the best

Fast service. Good food. Nice surroundings and we could have eaten outside the restaurant in the warm weather. It was very easy to book and to find.

Food and service really good BUT you really must get the property owners to deal with the problem of gulls. Our visit was spoilt by the incessant screaming and screeching (at ground level) together with the copious fouling of surfaces.

Food was lovely but service was poor especially considering the restaurant was very quiet. Have previously been to other Cote’ restaurants where the service was excellent- took 2 friends on a day out it was their 1st time to Cote so was disappointed with our visit.

Yesterday we took our son with us to Cote in Bath and we all enjoyed our meal. At a time when other restaurants seem to be having difficulties and closing, we do hope Cote will continue to give such excellent value and pleasure every time we go.
