Côte Bath

We had a fabulous lunch today, sat in a lovely seating area upstairs. The half roast chicken with potato gratin was so moist and tasty. A couple of us had the chicken & walnut salad which was so gorgeous, we added some blue cheese which went lovely with it. The fish goujons were amazing also which came with chips, peas mixed with mint and green beans. We had a lovely bottle of Merlot between us which was really smooth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the service was first class. We will be back on our next visit.

All was lovely apart from late arrival of olives, they came with dinner!!

Good service Sea bass very nice Fish pie nice and tasty Risotto was mediocre unfortunately, my wife's is much better. Never a mention of my mates birthday...... Which way mentioned on the booking. Starters very nice. Disappointed.

Always great people serving and attention to detail is superb. Gluten-free and vegetarian menus give lots of fantastic choice. I would have liked to be offered beverages a little more frequently though.

We enjoyed the usual high standard of food, but were disappointed in the service. The restaurant was not busy but we waited long periods when we could have been asked whether we were ready to order, or wanted to see the dessert menu. The ladies loo was horrible with loo paper all over the floor.

Excellent meal, very good value, enhanced by the superb waitress we had for whom nothing was too much trouble - she even ensured the aged couple (whose 65th wedding anniversary we were celebrating), could have the same table for lunch this coming Sunday ... well, the proof of this pudding will be in the eating on Sunday!

Cote is always a great place to go for reasonably priced, tasty food and a good ambience.

Excellent meal and good value for money in an excellent atmosphere

Excellent venue for lunch. Ravioli could have been a little warmer, but everything else was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. Two courses plus wine and coffee for about 23 pounds a head is very good value for this standard of food.

Great service. Lovely breakfast and our birthday girl was treated with Prosecco. Thanks for all.

All food good except Tarts aux Pommes wasn’t crisp enough

We were a party of 8 - we ordered a number of sharing breads - all came out at different times, no plates, one portion of butter When we did ask for plates we didn’t get 8 One main course was quite some time after all the others Restaurant seemed quite short staffed - our head waitress was really lovely and helpful but clearly had to much to do !

Friendly and attentive service, nothing was an issue, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us.

We didn’t enjoy our visit as much as usual because the service was very slow (which is difficult with children) and our waiter had zero personality.

Those zucchini fritti are so good. Just the kind of thing to go out for because such a faff to do at home (I think). Excellent service, some new faces which is perhaps inevitable - it has always impressed me that Cote keep so many staff for quite a while.

I love Cote restaurants and always book one wherever I am. The Bath restaurant is in a lovely setting. Very busy the day we went and the service was slow. We had to leave some of our meal to get to the theatre in time which was a shame

I was very disappointed with the tenderloin of Pork. This should be a very soft, tender cut but it was so over cooked that it was dry and unpalettable. It didn’t help that the plates were extremely hot. It looked like it had been warmed up in a very hot ove.. The only reason I didn’t say anything was because I didn’t want to spoil the evening for my friends. I’ve eaten at Cote frequently in recent months but this was hugely disappointing. The kitchen staff must have known how over-cooked the meat was but it didn’t stop them serving it. Very disappointed.

Consistently good, difficult to achieve. Staff know what they are doing and the chefs certainly do. One thing stopping 5 star is the 12.5% service charge automatically put on the bill, not good practice. Fortunately I can afford it, many cannot.

Food was really lovely, the only thing I would fault is that we were put on two separate tables for our size of party. Which I was not informed of and this when I booked and this changed the atmosphere of the celebrations. It would be good to be advised of this before hand.

One of the most delicious meals i have had, we ate as a group of 6 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. We sat upstairs in the corner surrounded by windows overlooking the courtyard which was lovely. We could have stayed all night!! What more could you want........thank you

The complimentary bubbly for my wife’s 50th was a lovely touch. The only downside was that we we were sitting in the corner of the restaurant so not much atmosphere. The service and staff were outstanding.

5 of us friends had a lovely non alcoholic drink, and 5 main courses, the food was good, but the time it took to order and get our meal was terrible. We were all seated at 12:15, The meal arrived at 12:55, we all ordered mains only. Staff polite, but too long to wait for the meal, we parked in broad street and entered the restaurant at 11:50, not leaving much time to eat, as parking ran out at 13:50

Excellent menu, perfectly cooked food and attentive service. The venue is great for hot or cool weather with its indoor seating and terraces. We have been regulars for the past six months and will continue to patronise this venue. The seasonal nature of the menu and dishes are very appealing.

I have lost count of the number of times I have dined at the Cote Brasserie-Bath. It is always an enjoyable experience, good food, good service and good ambience. My steak was rather overdone on this particular visit but was otherwise ok, I deducted 1 star for this reason.

FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER MANY MEALS A BIT OF A DISAPPOINTING DAY! I BOOKED A TABLE WITH THE OFFER OF A COMPLIMENTARY SPRITZER DRINK FOR 2. I MADE IT CLEAR WHEN ORDERING I EXPECTED IT, THE WAITER WASN'T SURE, ASKED AND SAID YES. TWO ON THE MENU THAT WE WANTED WEREN'T AVAILABLE. OK IT HAPPENS, BUT WHEN WE WERE PRESENTED WITH THE BILL WE WERE CHARGED FOR THE COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS. I COMPLAINED AND THE WAITER GOT THE MANAGER. SHE SAID SHE WOULD REMOVE THE CHARGE, BUT NO APOLOGY!
