As ever, the service was excellent and the food faultless! The waiting staff are always so smart in their blue shirts and long aprons. It is very professional.
Karolina was very quick and helpful with our delicious lunch orders. The food was good, fresh and well plated. Many thanks Côte staff and kitchen team
Booked for a friday lunchtime with a work colleague. Initial service with drinks was fine and taking orders. Really enjoyed my calamari but not so my chicken, which was quite dry. I didn't make a fuss as i didn't want to spoil the lunch. The service in between courses was also slow. I am a repeat customer to the restaurant and usually i have no complaints with service or food. I have to say the restaurant was busy being a friday and with the lunch deal, which is good value as the restaurant is lovely. I will try the lunch deal again perhaps avoiding the busy friday . Thank you.
Our usual table, attentive service, well led team by Izzy. Food was of high standard.
As always, great service, great food & drinks, great value! Particularly appreciated the complimentary rhubarb martinis!
We went to the Bath restaurant after a day out in the city. great service and great food. As always with Cote. We have been to various branches and it’s always reliably excellent.
We were of a group of 6 and we all really enjoyed our meal. The staff and the service were very good and we were treated well and with respect
Birthday celebration but no special treatment. Fish meal- small portion.
Difficult one.. I always visit cote when away with business, it’s a great chain and the quality of food is always good. I was however, a littl let down this time. The man who greeted me who I assume is the manager was fab, friendly, prompt and made me feel instantly at ease. Steak and starter was well cooked. The service generally was a little slow, this is only exacerbated when dining alone in the early evening, on several occasions I had to gesture to the waitress in order to receive service. The wine was a little warm, not a deal breaker but disappointing. My pudding was burnt and arrived with creme fracihe despite me asking for it to be removed , when it arrived a second time it was still burnt and the creme fraiche had simply been scraped off - this was really disappointing. I then had to wait for the bill for a really long time... to add to the disappointment there were a party near by who were engaging in racist humour - whilst I recognise this is not the fault of the staff I do feel more could’ve been done to quieten them- that this behaviour was tolerated was most disappointing.
Regular customers food is always good value especially the set menu lunch or dinner We chose the prestige menu tonight slightly more expensive but well worth it
We were greeted by an unfriendly welcome from man upstairs! with i-pad ....shame no smile and a little bit looking down! we nearly didn't stay but Im glad we did, we then got severed by a lovely young lady I have taken away one star because of his unfortunate manner. Food was great too.
We are regulare customers at Cote Bath but this is the first time I have been dissapointed. Firstly, our server had to be asked to provide a replacement Kir glass. One of our glasses had a crack and broken edge which could have caused a very nasty cut if it had not been noticed! Secondly, we had to aks our server to provide us with cutlery for our main course. Thirdly, I have just checked our receipt and discovered we have been charged for 3 x Coupe Noire! I thought the Coupe Noir was included in the Mother's Day 3 course set menu which we had! We will thik twice form now on before we visit Cote again.
Obviously a very busy Fathers Day brunch so the wait for our breakfast was quite long. But the food and service was excellent.
Another good meal .In plesent company and surroundings. Thank you
Nice and friendly, great atmosphere, good food. Had the pork would highly recommend. Not keen on the 'optional 12.5% service charge being added to bill, acceptable for a table of 10 not for a table of 2!! I always tip good service bit don't like this approach.
Excellent service. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Very helpful with dietary requirements. Very good meal and arrived at a sensible time span between courses. Always reliable and of a good standard.
Good food , good personal service, and a lovely ambiance as always, a very enjoyable evening out for our wedding anniversary will definitely be back again soon.
An excellent evening, good food, good ambience, good value, good service, acceptable noise levels, prompt service enabling us to get to the Bath v Saracens match by kick off time. A thoroughly good evening. We’ll be back
We had a lovely evening. Food was amazing & so tasty. Our young waitress (from Latvia) was so good, as usual Cote’s came up tops.
One of the main course dishes was very small - a larger portion was requested and this came when the other guests had almost finished their mains.
Lovely service..it was my husband’s birthday, and it was so nice that our waiter brought his dessert with a candle..very sweet touch. Good food at reasonable prices..thank you..
Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Only downside is meals can become expensive when you have to add sides. Overall delicious food and a fab place to spend with friends... Would recommend
My partner and I always return to Côte for their incredible food and amazing service and tonight was no exception. We are always in our own little world, happy, in our little bubble, the atmosphere in Côte is inviting and comfortable. Rosy cheeked, giggly and full of food we always leave feeling like we’ve had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Thank you for always giving us our favourite memories
Amazingly helpful staff and really good food. Good atmosphere and so busy. Good location in Bath. Have visited various Cote locations and love them all. Will visit again
Food was fantastic, fairly pricey; however you get what you pay for in the restaurant. Lovely and clean and the waiter/waitress were very attentive and polite.
Excellent service superb food good atmosphere attentive staff, nice experience.Would definately recommend to friends and family wouldn't hesitate to eat at again Easy to find siotuated in Bath city centre
Again, again and again the consistent high quality of the food, service by staff who are so pleasant and helpful. The staff selection and training regimes are to be congratulated.
Another great lunch at Côte. We both enjoyed 3 courses from the premium lunch menu and everything was well cooked and tasty. 5 stars for our servers Rosy and Tom too! Recommended.
I had booked a table to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary - Cotes is a family favourite for celebrating, and there were seven in our party today. Though we arrived late - due to traffic and parking problems in Bath, we were greeted graciously by the manager. He also sorted out my mistake on the online booking form with good cheer - thank you. We ordered a variety of different starters and mains - from the a la carte and the June specials menu, as well as from the vegetarian menu. Everything, be it vegan, vegetarian, fish or meat, along with the sides, was all delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Negroni cocktail!!

Thoroughly enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings, with helpful and attentive staff. Have visited before and will definitely return.
Consistently good on food, service, everything. Am planning another visit to the Bath Cote Brasserie soon. Look forward to having a brunch there too some day.
Great food at a good price. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
We are regulars to Cote nationally . Bath is our home town and this branch of Cote is consistently good for both food and service. Happy to recommend.
Good food but staff inattentive despite virtually the restaurant being virtually empty. 12.5% service charge was not deserved although we paid it. Manager should be more alert to customers
Food was fabulous and good value for money. My main problem was we were doing a business meeting and the waitress was totally unable to read the situation, kept talking over us and interrupting. She was also loud. Service should be smooth and not in your face. It’s a pity as trying to discuss things was difficult.
More of a pub feel than restaurant. One of the sides dishes never came to our table, even after 2 reminders. . When we arrived our table was being set up in the centre of the restaurant but when the manager saw we had 3 teenagers with us we were tucked away in the corner by the loos. Would I go again, yes for a quick meal but not for a night out with friends or family there are other better restaurants in Bath.
Pleasant, efficient service, and generally very tasty food. An enjoyable family lunch, thank you. We don't eat out very often and Cote is a consistently good choice for us. It was noisy, but that's a Saturday lunchtime. Had a wait a little long for our mains, but we hadn't ordered starters and again it was a Saturday. No complaints from me.
Simple booking procedure. Can always rely on good food quality. Excellent service from friendly smiling staff. One minor critism: We entered on top floor and our reservation was confirmed on tablet screen. We were then asked to go downstairs where the whole process was reperated. Almost operates as two separate restaurants.
Excellent service on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Good understanding and assistance on special dietary requirements with care taken to recommend most suitable level of cooking for steaks and burgers.
Cote always delivers. Great food and friendly staff. We had crab mayonnaise to start ( just a slice more bread would have been good). Then partner had Poule grille and I had haddock and lentils. We shared a Tarte au citron (just a tad more creme fraiche would have balanced it out). Overall meal was lovely. Lived up to our expectations which have never been disappointed here.
When you order a side of peas, a serving spoon would be nice. I could only tip them onto my plate and there was a lot of liquid in the serving dish that then saturated the rest of the meal. Fillet steak beautiful as always so it was a shame about the pea fiasco.
We took my parents (in their 80s) for an evening meal. Unfortunately there was a big group in and we found it hard to chat. My mother wears a hearing aid and she needed to remove it. The food and service were fine, but I'd be wary of going back if I'm after a conversational meal.
Always brilliant - good food, good service at a reasonable price. My favourite meeting place for lunch or early dinner with friends. Highly recommended.
Fabulous food. We will definitely be going back again soon
Always a high standard at Cote.... my only complaint would be that the tables near the door mean that you end up sat with a constant draft and constant queque of guest waiting to be seated... that aside it’s excellent and I will continue to recommend to friends and family.
Excellent service, wonderful food. Some of our party were delayed, but the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us. One waitress in particular was wonderful (sorry didn’t see her name). Cannot praise everything highly enough.
We took advantage of the January offer of a bottle of wine with two a la carte dinners. Wine and food were both delicious and service was very satisfactory, if a little uncertain to start with over our booking. I suspect we started with a new recruit, who was perfectly polite but slightly lacking in knowledge on the menu details. We did find ourselves sitting near a very loud diner, so the noise level was relatively high, but the atmosphere was warm on a night when it waas snowing outside! Overall experience still warrants award of 5 stars!

Delicious lamb chops and sublime rhubarb cocktail. Perfect venue for a relaxing evening with friends.
Service was excellent from your newly hired young french waitress. She is a credit to your restaurant. The food was of good quality although fairly average when compared to previous visits. One issue that needs to be seriously addressed is that there were no large red wine glasses, just small low quality glasses. This is not something that is expected, especially of a French restaurant in Bath. We hope that this will be corrected on our next visit.
I'm afraid we felt let down by Cote last night. When the bill was brought to us we explained to the waiter that we hadn't our reading glasses and couldn't read it due to the very low lighting. The waiter put a candle near it and said laughing 'that doesn't help very much'. He went on to explain £10 had been deducted because we had chosen to have 2 courses off the 3 course set menu. What he failed to point out was the £10 service charge he had put on. When we got home we were able to read it and felt quite cheated. We are often generous with tipping but we did not like the assumption we would pay it and the underhand way it was put on our bill and not pointed out to us when we made it clear we couldn't read it for ourselves!
