Fine, but how does the Loyalty Card system work, as no one saw that we had a card and special treat/ offer was not taken!
Excellent service, very pleasant staff, good food as ever. Like the March menu. Brilliant location for cinema etc. Love cote Thanks and will recommend to friends
Nice ambience and excellent service. Particularly like the care they take with gluten free. Food is very nice, simple brasserie fare, but none the worse for that.
Great place staff excellent always happy to come back to this cote. Menu always changing too so never a chore. Booking I would recommend however
Good choice on the prix fixe lunch menu. Food was freshly cooked, well presented and tasty. We have never had a bad meal here and it's our first choice when attending Barbican events.
Excellent service, pretty good value, pleasant atmosphere. Don't expect anything more than brasserie standard of cuisine, but this is one of the best of the high-street restaurant chains
Excellent 3 course meal from pre theatre menu. Wide selection of dishes for all tastes. Will come again! Good and friendly service. Good price. Can recommend!
Good variety of starters and mains, and the usual delicious puddings on the pre-theatre menu. Attentive staff meant we were able to reach our theatre in time.
We had an excellent dinner from pre theatres menu. Very polite stuff. Food was divine. I would definitely come back to dine here again. Highly recommend.
We were a large party so not always easy to cater for - but we had no problems at all. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Overall a very enjoyable experience!
Thinking it was a chain restaurant, we were not expecting much of our pre-theatre menu - which turned out to be very tasty & well served by friendly staff. The red wine by the glass was absolutely delicious (and we drink old Bordeaux's bought on auction at home). So we returned after the play to have dessert - and I, who do NOT eat dessert normally, found the creme brulet AMAZING! Bravo To chef, manager, servers, all.
Great Restaurant service and good selection of dishes to suit most tastes. We had both the fixed price 3 course and a la carte options all of which were very nice. This was a pre theatre lunch as we were going to the Barbican so the service timing was important - all executed very well but without feeling rushed. I will definitely use this place again particularly in combination with events at the Barbican which is a 3 minute walk to the theatre entrance
I visited this venue with a friend to celebrate their Birthday we had very good service and great food and brilliant value. Excellent wheelchair access.
I liked the atmosphere . The food was good and well presented. The service was also good and all at a good price, particularly for London.
Love cote and thrill is was brilliant service from a great team at the Barbican branch. Thanks for making our anniversary so lovely and enjoyable
Lovely venue and friendly staff. Food was very tasty. Could be more attractive if set menu available til late on certain days. Ambience was great
Nothing really to report out of the ordinary for this well known restaurant chain. Did not disappoint. Service was good. Food came quickly. Bill came quickly.
A very positive overall experience. My reservation was adapted (arrived one hour early) without fuss. My access guest was welcomed. Food was good. Barbican members enjoy an aperitif (Kir Royale) when ordering from the a la carte menu.
Very good restaurant (small chain). Staff are always very well trained and service is quick (perhaps a little too much but I understand we are in London and diners need to get to theatre/cinema etc). Excellent food as always ...
Food was good. A lot to choose from on the menu. One of the better chain restaurants on the High Street. Service a little overly attentive.
Satisfactory experience. Service was good. Food was ok apart from finding grits in the seafood linguine. It is essential to book as it is always super crowded
We've always had good experiences of Cote in many branches but unfortunately this wasn't so here. The Poulet Breton, which we've had many times, was undercooked to the extent it looked quite dodgy. The staff dealt well but it affected the overall experience. A pity.
The food was very nice and there was enough of it so that we were pleasantly full. The service was pleasant and very efficient despite it being very crowed and a bit noisy. The prices, for the quality, were excellent.

Having a Cote restaurant 1 minute on foot from the Barbican Centre is a great luck. It's a lucky tandem. Good food and service help to enjoy art and vice versa. I often have my dinner in Cote Barbican before a show and wish this restaurant a ling and prosperous life! Thank you
Fantastic time for my son's birthday. Staff, service and food better than excellent. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Barbican restaurant.
Felt service was brusque and moving us on. Food was fine apart from my duck which was served on a cold plate with cold sauté potatoes.
Excellent dining experience - superb food, great atmosphere and the best staff. We chose crab mayonnaise and charcuterie board, then rib eye steak and fish parmentier. Delicious! Highly recommended!
Consistently good. Pre theatre menu is excellent value. Nice ambience and very convenient for the Barbican Centre. Worth reserving a table as can get very busy before concerts.
All fine - welcome, food, service and customer care. Nice busy atmosphere in the heart of the city. Staff attentive and keen to please you.
We had lunch for 6 on my daughter's birthday yesterday. We could not fault the friendliness of the staff, the beautifully presented, delicious food and the amazing value of the set menu. We were apprehensive when our daughter chose Côte Barbican as we had travelled from Cambridge, Bow and Richmond specifically for the meal. We need not have worried. It was all excellent. We'll be back!
Booking was essential as the the place was busy, our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, all other staff seemed nice friendly, the food was cooed to perfection.
The staff at Cote Barbican are very welcoming and attentive although never instrusive. The food is excellent and served in just the correct portions. It is light and airy and lots to do around the Barbican afterwards!
Good service and food arrived quickly which was great as we had a show to get to across the street at Barbican Centre. Will always now choose this place for any pre-Barbican visits.
Pleasant ambience, reasonably spaced tables, good pre-concert menu (apart from two items being unavailable) and attentive friendly service with no need to chase anything after initial ordering.
Excellent and authentic French cuisine with a wide-ranging menu covering all tastes. The service was very good indeed, polite, friendly yet discreet. The wines on offer are reasonably priced and offer good value,
Very busy restaurant pre show at the barbican. Food was good and served fast. Staff both lovely and attentive. Separate vegetarian menu had plenty of choice.
Friendly service, excellent food, great value for money. I certainly would return. It is very convenient for the Barbican Hall. I am very happy with the experience.
Friendly service, convenient location & very reasonable prices. Good choice of menus. Service very quick. Menu choices available to suit all tastes, especially people on special diets.
Always reliable place to eat with waiters efficient and pleasant. Today the Hungarian waiter was so friendly and nice. We did not feel like we were rushed although we stayed rather long in there. Set menu is a very good value for money.
Good value and excellent service. It would be even better if they can keep some lemons set aside without being cut into wedges so that customers can have 'squeezing lemons' on request. I'm pleased that they now offer side plates with the bread rolls rather than having to eat them off the napkins. The food is always very good
Very nice restaurant, and not too noisy even when busy. The pre-theatre menu is both tasty and great value. It's available every day for orders placed up to 7 pm.
Olives for starter - forgotten by waiter. Reminded. Before they were finished, main courses arrived. Main courses sent away. Olives still unfinished when main courses arrived a second time. Chips cold. Sent back. Replaced. Left. All a little bit rubbish.
Very nice neighbourhood place, with good service, very reasonable prices, and surprisingly good food for a chain. Perfect for after an evening at the Barbican!
Excellent as always, courteous staff. Cote is always the best choice when you are in a hurry and looking for a restaurant with efficient service.
Excellent food and service. Would certainly recommend and will be going soon hopefully. Even on a Sunday it was busy, so booking would be advisable.
Our table was ready on arrival and the venue was nice with a good layout out and the right amount of lighting. The service and food were good although it did take quite a long time to get the bill when requested.
The staff at Côte Barbican could not be more helpful. We were welcomed and looked after so well. Nothing was too much trouble. Food is always reliable here - some of the specials were unavailable but it was 10pm by the time we arrived. Food was great
Excellent value for money and excellent service Good setting and good food. Will visit the restaurant again soon. Highly recommended and so convenient to the Barbican
Prompt and attentive service, great food and reasonable prices. Restaurant is lively, with a nice ambience and a good place for conversations. I've been to Cote about a dozen times this year and have never been disappointed even once. There's a reason why Cote's a London favourite! Small request: can you put the delicious French onion soup on the 2/3 course set menu please?
We waited over a half hour for our meal without explanation until we asked. My duck showed signs of being reheated. So not very good.
