Nice ambience, friendly staff, good service. Some of the items on the menu weren't available and the main course salad had too many lettuce leaves rather than the other ingredients, but it was tasty. Overall a positive experience and would come back.

Continue to provide good meals with excellent service at sensible prices, The menu is broad and is varied enough to make it interesting going back time and again.

It was quite noisy and our table was sort of stuck in between with lots of people walking past, which made it a bit less enjoyable. Food and service was very good

Friendly staff and enjoyable food and good value. If I was being critical I did feel we were very close to the tables either side.

We were very satisfied with both the service, the food and wine. The swordfish was particularly delicious and we we arrived at the Barbican in good time for the concert by our dear friend Sam Haywood

We've eaten at this branch of Cote many times. The food is usually good and service efficient and friendly. Today I had an offer which meant I got a complimentary bottle of wine. When the bill came they had charged me for the wine and for a starter I'd ordered but they didn't have. This is the second time we've had to ask them to take things off the bill, so make sure you check your bill carefully. However the restaurant is very conveniently situated and we will definitely eat there again.

Excellent experience at Cote Barbican last Sunday (Mother's Day). We had a family brunch, which was delicious - with excellent, friendly service, so we were well set up for the concert at the Barbican afterwards.

There needs to be far more vegetarian options ad they need to be clearly marked. It's quite awkward having to check everything that looks like it should vegetarian with the waiter to check that there are no hidden non-vegetarian cheeses etc.

We had the pre-theatre menu, which was good food, with a reasonable selection of dishes, and good value. The only thing that stops full marks is that the waiter was a bit grumpy.

Cote was absolutely packed. It was 630 pm Friday before a concert at the Barbican and I'd booked (which was just as well). Despite the number of diners,, the staff could not have coped better. They were all attentive, charming and really helpful. The pre-theatre menu changes regularly and always has plenty of choice, keeping the vegetarians happy. They really seem to have a winning formula which I hope they never change! Keep it up Cote.

As usual this restaurant was very good in all respects. I didn't give it the maximum marks for the single reason that my favourite starter was unavailable today. The house Rose wine is the best you can get.

A different menu from our last visit - some interesting new dishes. We both went for the bacon lardons & frisee salad (good) and I had the sea bream (delicious, not too sure about the beans with it) and he had chicken, which came with a delicious tomato sauce. Our waiter was excellent, always there to help, never intrusive.

A lovely meal of seared scallops, roast sea bass and a chocolate fondant washed down with the recommended Macon Village. My only reservation is that I thought the service a a little casual - I prefer that our order is written down and not left to memory which then needs to be checked but overall a very enjoyable experience.

We use your restaurant whenever we attend the Barbican, for several very good reasons. We can depend on your good service, good food and good value. The meals are always a pleasure.

My wife, myself and our two sons attended on Mothering Sunday, at lunchtime. Although it was busy the service was friendly, professional and attentive. Clearly the organisation of Barbican Côte Brasserie is excellent. The food was delicious and they even had their amazing set menu as well as a children menu. Difficult fish dishes are served perfectly and simple french cuisine has added panache. I can recommended the Barbican Côte Brasserie for family dining and also for couples and even friends meeting.

It's convenient if you're attending a Barbican cinema screening. The food is reasonable, the service OK. Eaten here a few times. No-one ever seems to be at an obvious greeting point, so you stand around aimlessly hoping for attention. I once walked out because I was consciously ignored for 2-3 minutes on one particularly irritating occasion last year by two members of the waiting staff who seemed to be having a childish competition with each other (Autumn 2016) and instead ate at the cafe which is next door.

Arrived early for pre-theatre dinner. Very efficient, friendly service. Lots of choice on both the regular and lunch/pre-theatre menus, the pre-theatre menu being exceptional value for a London restaurant! It was fairly quiet when we arrived at 5.30pm but within 30 minutes it was almost full, which made for a great atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely return if visiting this area again.

We had booked a table fr 6.15 to allow us time for a meal before the filmed opera started at 7.20. Because of terrible traffic we didn't arrive at the restaurant until 6.35. Our table was still reserved and waiting for us. We explained our time constraints to our waiter who was extremely helpful, took our order as soon as we were ready and the food - two courses, came up quickly and efficiently. We had time to enjoy a two course meal, with a bottle of house wine, pay and be out by 7.25. We arrived in the Barbican Cinema 5 minutes before the film began. Perfect timing and a very happy start to our evening's enjoyment. Also very reasonable cost - under £20 per head including service.

We enjoyed the usual good value pre-concert meal at the Barbican Cote. There was a bit of a delay between ordering and our first course arriving but after that our waitress and the manager made sure our meal was complete in time for our concert. Without asking, the manager also gave a nice reduction on our bill to compensate us for the delay in being served - much appreciated.

Very good restaurant (small chain). Staff are always very well trained and service is quick (perhaps a little too much but I understand we are in London and diners need to get to theatre/cinema etc). Excellent food as always ...

We arrived at 3.00pm to find a packed and noisy restaurant but the staff managed it well. The service was efficient. We ordered from the a la carte menu and enjoyed our duck breast dinner and the roast pork belly: good quantities and quality. This is a very convenient place to eat before or after an event at the Barbican.

Thinking it was a chain restaurant, we were not expecting much of our pre-theatre menu - which turned out to be very tasty & well served by friendly staff. The red wine by the glass was absolutely delicious (and we drink old Bordeaux's bought on auction at home). So we returned after the play to have dessert - and I, who do NOT eat dessert normally, found the creme brulet AMAZING! Bravo To chef, manager, servers, all.
