Useful location. Pre theatre menu good value. Meal punctual but had to wait longer to pay the bill. Good of good quality. Would visit again.

Delicious range of French style food, friendly and efficient staff. Good surroundings and very handy for the Barbican Centre , about 30 metres from the entrance!

Good choice of tasty food in a reasonably priced lunch menu. Service pleasant but rather slow. Very convenient for our New Year's Day concert at the Bsrbican.

A good value and nicely varied set menu makes this restaurant a very handy choice for a pre-theatre dinner when visiting the Barbican. On this occasion, the service was a little slow, but not enough to risk being late for the performance.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience overall at Cote Barbican. Greetings upon entry and service excellent. Wonderful ambiance and spacious, comfortable table space. Our choices off the a la carte were very good marred only by a very gristley, slightly warm rib eye steak which I would have returned to the kitchen, had we not been pressed for time.

Lovely meal before Barbican concert. We used to pre-theatre menu which was excellent. Service was also good and we had plenty of time for 3 courses and coffee

Ensure you book because they were turning people away as it was so popular. We arrived for 4.30pm, and then everyone else joined us! Service was quick and efficient. Food was hot and very tasty. Drinks were limited choice, but nice. Overall, a very nice experience. Another Cote off our "to visit" list.

Very good choice of food reasonably priced but what made it so special was the wonder service provided by our waiter. The whole restaurant appeared but professionally run and very friendly.

We had a lovely meal, the only critisism was the frisee starter was swimming in too much dressing. The potato gratin was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great choice, especially with the pre-theatre menu. Good food, tasteful decor and a nice ambience. Window seats are the best bet for couples. Give it a try!

This particular Cote has a large floor area - meaning the tables are spread well apart so you can have a conversation with your dining guests and not be drowned in conversations from other tables.

We had the pre-theatre menu - the lamb parmentiere (sheepherds pie to you...) was really tasty and the glazed carrots exactly how I like them, namely, hot but crunchy. I would, however, recommend that you bring a torch to assist reading the menu if you are eating after dark as the central "spotlights" are turned down so low that a glow-worm would dazzle by comparison.

This restaurant is so convenient for the Barbican. The food was very good and excellent value for money. Staff were brilliant and we had a very enjoyable visit.

Easy to book, excellent food with charming staff. Perfect location for pre-concert meal at the Barbican Centre. Will certainly go again next time we attend a concert or play.

Very good, particularly the ambience and service. Food fine but not wonderful. It’s a very nice venu with a lovely atmosphere and popular for a pre-theatre dining experience. The pre-theatre menu is reasonably priced but the fish dish we had a little dull. Great wine.

We found good friendly prompt service from all the Cote staff. The food and drink was good and reasonably priced. The toilets were spotlessly clean. The appearance of the restaurant was welcoming and attractive.

Good service if a little quick - but that’s fine if you’re going to the Barbican Centre for an event! Delicious food - very reliable

First class as always the steak was as requested and the puddings were excellent. The Malbec tasted as it should and the service was efficient and pleasant which is why we return to Cote Barbican and Brighton.

Good food and professional service but quite pricey if you don't have the set menu. Nice atmosphere- best to book if you're going to The Barbican for a concert or other event.

Lovely meal, food is always good and the service lovely. A fab option for any occasion and a great value pre-theatre option for the Barbican.

Prompt service during meal. Very pleasant ambience. Excellent restaurant for anyone visiting the Barbican for an event. Only two minutes slow walk to Barbican entrance. Would recommend it to all.

Excellent Crab mayonnaise starter and Roast Seabass main. Good meal overall. But the bill didn’t give me the benefit of the special offer I had booked until I requested it. Why do restaurants do this?

Cote Barbican provides a wonderful ambience with excellent food and truly terrific service, especially if you are attending an event at The Barbican before hand.

Staff were lovely, really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Meals arrived at a steady pace and the food was great. We had our Christmas night out here and there was a very good selection of food on the menu.

Very helpful, efficient, pleasant staff. We felt bad - we were late - our Barbican concert over ran but we were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely evening.

A little bit of a delay when we arrived before we were welcomed and then before our order was taken, but in every other way it was excellent, with friendly and helpful service and excellent food.

service poor today, had to ask for drinks & food order to be taken. Sat 15 minutes without anyone coming over to ask if we wanted a drink. Bill also had to be requested Food as always very good

Interesting menu with very reasonable prices as long as you order before 7pm. Charming, attentive staff staff made this an evening to remember. Would definitely recommend it.

Slick service. good food. Tasty, hot, delivered with a smile despite being mad busy. Cote is the Ronseal of pre-theatre dinners (and more). It does exactly what it says it will do.

Nice meal which was good value. Service okay. Menu needs to identify vegetarian options although the waitress was helpful with clarification about a particular dish.

Quick service. The Christmas fixed price menu was good value for money. The onion soup was rich and satisfying. The steak however, was lacking in flavour. The service overall was excellent.

Food and service was good but the current billing system is appalling and should be changed. Any service charge should be something customers can opt into rather than something they have to opt out of.

The service was excellent as usual. We enjoyed the grilled prawns and crispy pork belly. We had plenty of time to get to the Barbican for the LSO concert .
