I am incredibly disappointed that there was no allergy menu available. Written guidance for allergens is a legal requirement so I am somewhat concerned as to why you do not have this in place. Having to ask repeatedly to have multiple dishes checked rather than being able to see information for myself makes ordering a very tedious process. I would hope that you take action as this is an incredibly sensitive and important topic.

The speed of service with every table occupied was a tribute to the efficiency of your staff.

The pork belly dish on the a la carte menu was excellent.

Two of us called in here for an early supper before a concert at the Barbican Centre and were really pleased we had. The service was friendly and very professional, the menu options were so tempting which made it hard to chose and it was good all round value. The quality of the cooking was to a very good standard too and we will definitely be back when we are next visiting the Barbican.

Nice food, nice waitress, nice atmosphere. A bit drafty when other customers opened the door, and the bill was wrong - in your favour. However it was sorted as soon as we pointed it out, and we enjoyed the evening.

Ideal venue for those going to the cinema and theatre at the Barbican. Always clean and welcoming with varying menu

On the website of Côte and outside in front of the door the price of a starter + main course is £ 12,95. On the menu card inside the price was 16,95. 3 times they tried to serve me coffee latte but 3 times the coffee was not warm enough so I skipped that on the bill. It often happens that the milk hasn't been warmed enough with the hot steam. I'm surprised that I have to pay 12,5 % Optional Gratuity. Optional means that you don't have to pay for it. I was a little shocked about the total price of the bill.

The Cote Barbican is an excellent place to eat before a Sunday morning cinema as well as in the evening before a film

Good value breakfast and pleasant atmosphere on a weekend morning, with helpful staff.

French onion soup was tasteless and served tepid so was the French fries.

Quiet , good for conversation . Atmosphere much more like a more expensive restaurant

There was confusion about my booking. Reception kept saying we were another group until my colleague pointed my name out on the screen. My drink order was forgotten. My mushroom brioche was stone cold and my squash risotto was mushy but the squash was under cooked. We had to ask for the bill three times. My personal experience was very poor. My colleagues seemed happy enough though so I’ll give you an average review.

Excellent service, friendly and efficient. An imaginative menu, serving some old favourites but alway with seasonal dishes as well. Highly recommended.

We had an early evening meal at 5pm . The food and service were excellent. The restaurant was not particularly busy at this time suited both of us as we don't like noisy spaces .

Lovely breakfast menu and friendly staff. I recommend them. Not much of a child friendly as they didn’t offer me a child menu though.

Lovely food and very helpful waiters. Unfortunately the service wasn’t as quick as we would have liked, and so we didn’t have time for a dessert which was a shame. Restaurant was very busy so the staff were understandably under pressure.

I was reasonably impressed here. Very good choices. I had the pork belly and it was really great albeit the cracking was soft. The toast for the pate was cold and a bit soggy but otherwise everything else we all had was pretty tasty & good. There service was good but not with any care. Even when something was added to our bill at the end the staff just threw the money at us with no apology. They were busy but still!! As 2 desserts were unavailable we were allowed one from the main menu as no extra charge. That was good. I would go again.

Food excellent. Service good except for one girl who failed to supply sparkling water and later forgot a bottle of beer. Staff nice as was the location. Will certainly return as the evening was nice and venue is easy for us to get to.

I just want to thank the staff warmly for allowing us to arrive about an hour late, with a big party of people, just as the kitchen was about to close. Everyone was very very helpful.

Visited the restaurant while traveling from the US for a conference. Was so impressed and the service was amazing and the meals were so affordable! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!

This chain is well run ie they watch their offering ie good value pre / post theatre with plenty of upselling from staff. The atmosphere is fine. The service is variable - some v good service, some indifferent/ perfunctory, the food is ok not great ( mass produced, sometimes plopped into the plate without care/ love, feels like its cold or kept warm for too long etc) but always excellent value

I really enjoyed the time spent in cote brasserie; the served geat food, also great service. Staffs were very helpful and friendly.

Food was not great. We’re offered 20% off the bill but an optional gratuity of 12.5% was added!!
