Great food, perfectly timed, all delicious and at the right temperature. Friendly attentive staff and great atmosphere. Also very reasonably priced
Good food in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will return!
Good food in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will return!
Staff were charming and helpful. Toilets clean and spacious. Aircon brilliantly efficient. Food looked good and was delicious. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because even when half full voices at this attractive venue reverberated loudly.
Delightful staff and great service, And prompt with cocktails before the main meal and between shifts. And the latter is important in the late afternoon.
Another wonderful lunch at Cote Barbican! Always fantastic service and fantastic food. Thank you!
Food and service as good as ever but noise levels terrible, had to ask to move to a quiet corner (although even that was noisy) Everyone shouting to be heard and we couldn't hear across the table for two. The worst Ive ever experienced at the Cote Barbican..wooden floors, low ceilings and crowded tables.
Excellent food, excellent service. Finally I had really good meat (medium rare) in the UK, I had already given up on that option. Fantastic gluten-free options for celiacs. Only paint point is the noise level near full capacity. Very bad acoustics make it difficult to hold a conversation with anybody but the person right next to you.
Great food and incredible service this time. Really appreciated the attentiveness by our waitress and prompt service. The set dining menu is a great value too.
Lovely attentive and helpful staff and delicious food at Cote Barbican.
Staff were attentive and we were not rushed in any way. A very enjoyable meal.
good value lunch pre theatre menu £13 for 2 courses
Disappointing compared to other Côte restaurants. Food was average, my steak was tepid, the fish wasn’t great. Overall uninspiring and unlikely to return
You had no staff on Our waitress with a German or Austrian accent was v rude and the manager had to stop her arguing with us
Wonderful meal, super place to go before seeing a concert at the Barbican
Excellent meal and. service. I stuck to favourites French Onion soup and Creme Caramel. Your creme caramel is one of the great sweets!.. Main course, haddock which was very good.
As a regular visitor to the Barbican Centre for concerts and theatre as well as the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Cote Barbican is a handy place to eat. Never had a bum meal yet, the service is usually very pleasant and welcoming and the ambience is very good too.
Good thank you for the service great experience will be back
quick service. good food, all v friendly & professional; excellent location next to Barbican
Lovely food and great service. Was a bit loud but expected as it was lunch time
Very nice place where you can find the perfect place to chill And nice food. I will come back soon
Great e pace amazing eppur nice experiece. Highbury reccomended for lunch.
Thank you for the dinner. Liked the service particularly. Yep
Starter bread overdone. One of mains dry & overdone. Service very slow as staff changed shifts even though restaurant not busy.
Lived it. Food is good and atmosphere vere relaxing. A great place for a morning date.
We had 2 main dishes and both were lovely. Very good food at a reasonable price. I would definitely go back again.
This was a pre-theatre meal and the speed of service gave us plenty of time to enjoy it in comfort.
Staff overworked so service a bit slow, but a decent good value restaurant
We had theatre tickets and food delivery of our main course was slow. The manager gave us a free round of drinks as an apology and we just made it in time.
Any branch of Cote can be relied on for the quality of food and the excellent, swift and friendly service. Cote Barbican is no exception.
A good, relaxing, comfortable meal after a concert at the Barbican. Friendly and attentive service.
Food was really lovely and tasty. Staff were very attentive. Highly recommend.
Tom was fantastic. Brilliant waitress. Made a good meal better
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cote, Barbican this week. The food is of a high standard and there is always a good choice even on the pre-theatre menu. Staff are very attentive but not over-powering.
Good food, excellent service and perfectly sited for Barbican visit.
Greasy calamari and over cooked sea bass. We had to call the waitress over every time we needed her - she never came past our table otherwise.
Lovely meal, pleasant ambience, caring staff. Really enjoyed the rhubarb cocktail.
Very nice welcome and quick service. Excellent menu choice and friendly service.
We came for a pre concert supper. Cote is right by the Barbican, so that's perfect. But the service was too slow (a problem with not enough room in the fryer!) so we had to hurry through two courses. Service courteous and helpful about this. But surely this is a management issue, as it must be a daily occurrence for this restaurant to be very busy at this time. They should be better prepared.
The service was great but quite busy. Loved the place
We told our server that we had tickets for the Barbican. She said no problem we would be served in plenty of time. But in fact we had to wait nearly an hour for our meal to arrive which meant eating very fast and rushing to the venue in order to arrive on time. Not good for the digestion and not good for a relaxing meal. We won't risk it again.
It was fantastic apart from a few hiccups. It is a wheelchair accessible restaurant I feel comfortable visiting. So it was a safe option for my date. When I arrived my booking had gone through via open table. I was impressed. Although I have visited numerous times, it was my first time using the “opentable app”. Easy to find. staff are friendly but not always attentive. Otherwise, I would give more credit as the food is always spot on.
We have eaten at the restaurant many times and will continue to do so
It was a Standard restaurant.. Nothing really special to be honest..
V good but a little delayed in serving us, stressful as going to concert after.
I met my sister for a pre theatre supper . We both love ‘a Cote ‘ ! Professional , friendly hospitality combined with great tasting, good value food and wine - what’s not to like !
Great food always and good service! Just love it. my favourite place.
Extremely helpful staff who adapted to increased numbers of guests with great ease
We had a very good meal, cheerfully served and were made to feel welcome. As a large party in a bit of a hurry to get to a concert, we felt this was a great start to our evening.
Fantastic food and service as always - calm location for brunch in the city!
Quality as usual . Thank you very much for great service and food.
