Really lovely food at a sensible price. It was slightly odd that they managed to sit my friend and I at separate tables without noticing that we were both there. Easily resolved these days with mobile phones.

Enjoyable first visit to Cote to celebrate a graduation. Good value, excellent food and generous portion sizes. Would visit again.

This is always a busy restaurant pre-theatre and so don't expect quick service! Staff do their very best with a smile and so it is always worth coming. Food is as always very reasonable in price and tasty.

Food was good but our apple flan had a taste of onion. We mentioned to our waiter who was very apologetic and took the price off the bill which we appreciated

Very good food. Very polite and attentive service was marred by a focus on my male friend being asked to taste the wine and being given the bill. Tedious.

Had a wonderful dinner at Cotes on saturday night. The food was delicious with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with the service. We were eating before a concert at the Barbican, and the mushroom soup was (unintentionally) cold. There was no time to send it back, but without being asked our waitress didn't charge for it, nor for the other starter.

Food OK but service quite poor. We politely pointed out that a side dish of green beans had not been trimmed properly, and then received a lecture (possibly from the manager - he didn't introduce himself) that this was "how we do it". After much huffing and puffing, we were brought a replacement portion - just as we were finishing our meal. Very disappointing.

Very good service and food came out quickly . Tables all a bit close together and ours was in a zone where there was lots of noise from other tables and lots of movement past us by staff . Not enough sound deadening in a room with a low ceiling . However food good and up to usual Côte standards and staff helpful and attentive in a very busy restaurant. Good place to go before a concert at the Barbican Centre .

Portions have improved! Service is brilliant. L9vely waitr- remembred him from last year. Love that you get proper napkins and wine goes in bucket to side of table...leaving more space. V good value for money. Delicious mussels and fab choc mousse and cteme caramel. Overall v v impressed.

As ever, Cote remains the best UK chain out there: Solid food at a solid price, and very consistent. We've been twice in the last week and will continue to go.

Love this place and it is my local so well used. As happened only once before, pre-theatre, really busy and noisy, food over cooked as obviously left under a heater awaiting delivery. Seldom happens, staff always amazing, just a too busy time.

I love Cote at the Barbican. We eat at Cote quite regularly and we always have superb service, food is good and there is always wonderful ambiance

The food was wonderful. The service was as good as it could be because the poor waiter was being bombarded by a table of 8 demanding ladies. Our one down side was the draft coming through the door. Although the curtain was around the door, it was still sending cold blasts of November air every time the door opened. We seemed to remember that there was a heater above the front door, and wondered why this was not switched on? It was very busy and the door was being opened many times, and in the end we just wanted to leave because we were so cold.

First time I’ve eaten in this chain. I wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and well cooked and the service was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Great food with prompt friendly service all brilliant value for money

Great waitress who did all she could to try and accommodate our needs (we didn’t have a lot of times as we were going to a concert) who was let down by the kitchen and by other male waiters who tried to give us items we hadn’t ordered. These items that we did not consume were then added to our bill! The good waitress was then let down by the kitchen who couldn’t provide a simple meal in a short time frame. When my main meal arrived it was cold. Very disappointed
