Always fabulous friendly and professional service at Côte Old Amersham! A lovely atmosphere and the food is consistently delicious and well presented!
As always, we had an excellent meal at Cote Brasserie this evening. Good service, very pleasant staff, good food and good value. Please visit Cote Brasserie if you haven’t already been there. One of the best.
Great food & great ambiance. Always a pleasure to come to this branch of Cote plus the waiting staff are charming & actually seem happy to serve you....a rarity nowadays
Food was really delicious and service was great as always. Cote never disappoints, italways lives up to expectations. Thank you too for our welcome drink
Waiters are lovely! Food is really good and atmosphere is great!!
Great Easter Sunday meal with the family. The food was really good and superb service despite the restaurant being full. We shall be returning again shortly.
We just love Cote, food, as usual was delicious and friendly and efficient service. Already looking forward to our next visit . What more can I say?
Good food and friendly staff. Always clean and nice atmosphere. Tables well spaced. Good wine list and fresh food. Parking is always a problem which is why we do not visit as often as we would. WIll be back again though and would recommend this Cote in particular
Good food, attentive waitress, happy brunch with my family! We sat in a booth at the side which was a good choice as it is quieter than the main restaurant. Despite being out of the way, waitress was aware and attentive
Always a lovely place to visit with friendly staff. The food is of a high quality.
Lovely evening, second visit in a month so that must tell you something! Only let down by long wait for a drink on arrival and slightly longer to wait for service throughout the evening. Waiter seemed rather stretched. Cannot criticise his work ethic however, he was looking after a too many guests alone. Criticism: Very Very loud. Due to a large and noisy party in the centre of the main room. Could not have a sensible conversation with the person sitting next to me. Would I go back? Probably!
The sun was shining and so we took the option of eating outside. Perfect! The food, as always, excellent and the service, by Polly, was first class! Outstanding! Thank you! x
Lovely Mothering Sunday lunch. The food was very tasty and the stuff were all friendly and helpful. My only grumble would be the lack of vegetables with the main course. However the complementary g&t made up for it 😉
We are regular visitors but were left slightly disappointed this time. Atmosphere is normally great but there was a very loud group of women close-by which didn't help but the biggest problem was the food. Vegetables were look-warm and our fries didn't arrive till we were midway through our meal - not good. Plus we were originally brought the wrong order although one meal was correct, which we suspect was kept warm while they sorted out the other 3 meals so when that one came back (duck) it was a bit dry. Normally we love Cote so if you haven't been it's still worth a try. As for us, we may give somewhere else a shot next time.
Lovely setting for a Cote Brassiere- great food, ambience, service and good value for money. Am never disappointed eating at Cote Brasserie. Excellent as always.
The food was ok but could have done with being warmer & the menu could do with being updated/changed. The service was good but it took a long time for each course to arrive.
Excellent food, drink, service and atmosphere at very reasonable prices
I normally like Cote but this experience was disappointing. It took some time to get our nibbles and drinks. Food arrived in batches not together. Meat was cooked well done when asked medium rare. The service was patchy. Disappointed.
I really love Cote Amersham and I have been here more than once. It has a great menu with lots of different choices and I visited on this occasion as a party of 4. I had booked in advance and requested a table by the window. The restaurant was very busy and we were told no window table was available which was disappointing. We were seated in the rear section of the restaurant looking straight at a table for 4 in the window occupied by 2 ladies. We were told that should a table become available we could move. It was extremely noisy and right by the station where the condiments and glasses were stored. Service was slow, but it was very crowded. When it came to ordering we were told there was no Camembert or goats cheese available. Disappointing. Sadly, there was an incident where several glasses smashed into the floor/station immediately beside us whilst we were eating our starters. We found this disconcerting. At the same time the table opposite in the window became free, and we asked if we could move to that one or the booth next to it away from the glass. We were told they had to check and see if the table was booked which was also annoying considering we had requested in advance ourselves. We did eventually move across for our main course. All in all it wasn't really the experience I am used to at Cote. Which is a shame because, as I said at the top of my comments I really love this restaurant, well, I do usually. It was just a bit of a shambles really.
Everything about this restaurant was good. Value for money the food and the service could not be faulted. It consistently produces which is very rare these days in a chain!
We had a delicious meal enhanced by our window-side seating and out charming (?Dutch) waiter. An excellent experience. Thank you.
Most enjoyable meal, have never had a bad meal there, friendly staff without being over effusive. The 3 course menu is always brilliant value and uses seasonal ingredients which is ideal.
Lovely food as usual. Service for starters a bit slow but we didn’t mind . Very noisy but suppose it was because it was busy. We are going back next week
Excellent in all areas although pricy. Highly recommend to all, however.
Welcomed into the restaurant. Friendly and helpful waiting staff. Good food and drink. Not long to wait for any course. Another good Cote Brasserie experience. Thanks!
We had a brilliant time as usual and it's always the staff that make it a great experience and a pleasure to come to this restaurant. Can't thank them enough for the pleasant and positive atmosphere they create.
Food is excellent, with great choice on the menu. Venue is welcoming, comfortable. Service excelled as always. I’ve never been disappointed with a meal at Cote Amersham.
Having been to this restaurant on many occasions we were not disappointed at all Food was excellent and service was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely return again
Lovely lunch. Food all very good. Great service, waitress was excellent - friendly and very attentive. Our best visit ever to Cote Old Amersham, fabulous. Would thoroughly recommend
Fantastic evening, lovely fresh food, nice waiting staff, as always with Cote, a lovely experience without breaking the bank, thank you.
Lovely meal accompanied by equally lovely service. The waiter also provided complementary drinks on arrival as it was my girlfriend’s birthday which was a wonderfully kind gesture. Would highly recommend.
Responded to an offer to celebrate my birthday with a complimentary glass of kir royale. Enjoyed that and enjoyed the lamb rump meal as well. The window table was quiet with an agreeable view out onto The Broadway
It's our sixth visit to the restaurant: as always the food and service were excellent. The tuna salad followed by a free Easter chocolate moussse and a double espresso - wonderful.
Pleasant greeting on arrival. Happy attentive waiter but was not intrusive. Very well priced lunch menu and good selection. Restaurant was clean and well presented and was busy for a Monday lunch time which is always a good sign
I have become a regular customer at Cote Brasserie, Amersham dining with my family, which includes children, and also with friends. The food is of excellent quality. good value and all of the staff are friendly and efficient. I would most certainly recommend the restaurant.
Nice touch to print out sunset for our outdoor table in the sun
Always a good atmosphere with friendly staff. And the food is superb.
Last night the service was chaotic and slow. Our server apologised a number of times because he was so embarrassed. I had the sea bass and it tasted very fishy and the sauce was tasteless. For desert my husband ordered the creme caramel and was brought creme brûlée but as the waiter disappeared we couldn’t exchange it. My chocolate fondant was more like a small cake that had been split open and filled with room temperature chocolate sauce. Normally we have lovely food when we dine at the Amersham Cote but this time we were very disappointed with the whole experience. As it was a Saturday night it should have been packed but it wasn’t, so perhaps this drop in service and food quality is not a one off.
We had a very good meal at Côte in Amersham. However, while the food was excellent, the service, which started off very good, deteriorated after a change of staff, until we received no service at all. We left without having the drinks we had told staff we wanted after our desserts because no-one came to take our order. As we left we were wished a nice evening and had to ask if we could pay as we hadn't been given a bill. Not impressed.
Had a great Thursday night dinner out. The only possible criticism was that it was quite noisy (with other diners) so some sound absorption might help, but otherwise couldn’t fault it.
Nice evening out - food very good - the monkfish wrapped in bacon was excellent and staff were helpful and attentive and even offered us a glass of rose sparkling wine to celebrate my wife's birthday which was a pleasant surprise.
Lovely atmosphere and really friendly and efficient staff. The steak tartare was particularly gorgeous! Reasonably priced and great location. The staff made a fuss of me as it was my birthday - which was really sweet. :-)
Service is brilliant... food could be improved, ours was slightly cold and the steak a bit too dry. I would certainly go back soon though!!!!
We went early to celebrate our grand daughters 12 th birthday. We are aware that this is a very busy evening for the staff as it is Valentine’s Day! They were super efficient and still managed to sing happy birthday to my granddaughter. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Very Good. Good food. Good atmosphere. Hard working friendly staff.
Amazing meal out for husbands birthday. We were given a lovely table in the booth and were offered a free kir royal when we arrived. The staff even sang happy birthday to him!!! Delicious fillet steaks and moules - and we all had a dessert. Excellent service from a lovely waiter- perfect meal - not too stuffy but special enough for a celebration.
Lovely anniversary meal. Very nice atmosphere with very good food and service. it is always nice to visit Cote Amersham and we always feel welcome
All the staff were very attentive to us from when we arrived. Our waiter helped me with a choice of wine with my main, which worked very well. The food served was excellent. Thanks for a great evening
I prefer food served on plates rather than boards and glass pots. Also prefer table for four to be one rectangular table rather than two round tables.
My wife and I are regular visitors to Côte Brasserie in Amersham and we thoroughly recommend it for good food, service, atmosphere and value for money.
