Lovely staff, great food and good atmosphere. Just a little slow on the service - maybe more noticable for us as we had small children with us - but all round very good :)

Restaurant was busy but staff were attentive. Tried to squeeze 6 onto a table set for 4 but moved to a more suitable one after a request. Initially they said nothing was available, but we were moved within 10 mins. We had starter, main and desert and apart from a chicken main, which was dryish, the food was well cooked, very similar standard and selection to our local Blancs Brasserie. We finished late ie around 11pm and werent hurried at all. Will go again.

Great as always perfect food was nice staff were nice everything was nice can't wait to go for dinner soon which will be probably in the next week

The steak (of steak frites) was much tougher and more over cooked than on previous occasions, the bream was small and the fishcake was no better than average. The staff were, as always, very good and, as always, we strongly resent your efforts to extract 12.5% service charge. As always, we give a tip to the amount that we want and, because of your unpleasant policy, it is always less that you demand. We give a tip to the waitress who, because of her cheerful smile, improves the quality of our evening out. The kitchen staff do nothing apart from cooking properly for which they should be paid a proper wage.

We enjoyed our visit to Cote Brasserie in Amersham - Excellent staff & service, food good & reasonably priced, only issue is limited parking near the restaurant

For the second visit running, we have waited a long time for our food to arrive and when it does, some of it we have had to return as it was cold. The waiting staff are always extremely good dealing with the situation but the repeat evidence is that there are problems in the kitchen which need to get sorted. Shame as it was really nice at this restaurant but experiences in the past 3 weeks are not encouraging.

Pleasant relaxed atmosphere for light lunch to catch up with a friend. Friendly efficient staf and food was delicious. Menu is nice and easy in plain English so you know exactly what you're going to get.

Very good nice place to have lunch with friends have visited often and will continue to do so good value always a good standard of service

It was very good although the plaice was not particularly enjoyable. I still fail to get them to give me the wine reward. The waiter said he would talk to his manager but nothing happened

Excellent food & service. Breton fish stew fab and desert selection so lovely difficult to choose between them. Good atmosphere and very friendly service. Recommend.

Can't beat menu choices at such reasonable prices. Staff good and reasonably efficient (I had to ask for bread twice to go with my soup). Restaurant of choice when meeting friends for a casual lunch.

Went for dinner a la carts menu. Food above average. Steak was rather and needed a sauce to make it palatable. The chocolate fondant was lovely. Service was a bit hit and miss. Price was average.

Food and service excellent - but experience spoilt by the seating set up in a booth with a noisy 6 behind so we could hardly hear our selves think! We had booked and requested a table in the front area of the restaurant but this seemed to have been ignored!!! Asked to be moved to a quieter area but were told this was not possible- will not visit this one again as we cannot risk a repeat

We were immediately greeted and shown to our table. Very pleasant waitress took our order. I only had one course which was excellent. The rest of my party had two or three courses and thoroughly enjoyed the food. They had never been to Cote before but took a card and said they would definitely be back. Excellent value for money.

Ordered from the set menu, mains were more like starters. only thing i couldn't fault was the crumble pudding. birthday meal for 8 of us

Pleasant experience at the Amersham restaurant. I was surprised at the number of people having breakfast time chats. The venue is inviting and the staff were helpful and around without being too OTT.

Fantastic value for money meal served by friendly, honest and professional staff. The food (3 course set menu) was beautifully cooked and presented. Great accompanying wines. Look forward to our next visit.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Both of our starters were very good and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her main course although I was a bit disappointed in mine which was a bit lacking in taste.

We like Cote and the new vegetarian menu is a great idea. At the start we did need to grab someone's attention until other diners were seated around us and there were 2 or 3 things unavailable but we only found out after placing the orders. But food was good, staff friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.

Extensive and varied menu. Staff worked very hard throughout the evening- very friendly,helpful and welcoming. A most enjoyable meal and will return again. Restaurant was very busy and it was important to book a table.

We had very good service with delicious and good quality set menu food. On the downside, however, the bottle of white wine was rather expensive.

Fantastic service, the lady was very genuine and this is refreshing. A pleasant atmosphere and did not feel rushed although we were an early booking.

Staff helpful and attentive.We both had steak, a little dry but tomato salad good. Starters of moule and melon and Parma ham also good. Enjoyable evening but not wow!

Good food and service. I had requested a window table on the booking form but unfortunately none were available. Altogether a pleasant experience. We shall go back.

Meal was disappointing. The plate cold, mashed potatoes cold, fish over cooked but the meal was replaced and was quite different, hot and flavoursome. I was asked not pay for it which I appreciated. The service was good.

We were a table of 4 ladies on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was very nice, however the service was extremely slow and for two courses two and a half hours is too long. We were in a booth at the back and think it is easy to be forgotten there. However we will give it another try sometime as the food was good.

12.30 meal booked today. Nice lunch time menu. Service good . Not too slow. It all depends on your waiter or waitress on how busy they are. But go quite a lot and will go again.

As usual the food and service were good which always helps to have an enjoyable meal with friends, so we will be returning in the future

The welcome is always warm at this restaurant. I would recommend the onion soup to start; it is full of onion and the crouton is delicious. The fish stew is very tasty, as the is half chicken. The waiting staff are courteous and will make a point of coming to greet you if they have served you in the past. All in all, a joyful experience.

Had a lovely meal with our son for his 21st Birthday, great value for money and the food was fantastic as always, great service and cheerful staff .

Great atmosphere and attentive staff who gave you plenty time to choose without constantly asking how "everything is". Reasonably priced wine and delicious food. Will definitely be returning.

We always enjoy dining at Cote, whether in Amersham or their London restaurants. The food is always Excellent and the staff friendly. We've not given it a 6 because at 6 pm the restaurant was quiet but the service was very slow. We were not in a rush but we didn't feel we were the priority but that the preparation for the busy evening was more important. It won't put us off as we dine regularly at Cote and like the whole concept.

Excellent on the whole but full English was a little slow to arrive. Would definitely recommend though as quality ingredients were used. Great tasting coffee and orange juice.
