V busy - good menu and food and helpful staff restaurant was very busy and the service felt a little disorganised at times. Overall a good experience.

The Cote brand is becoming increasingly well known and it is always a pleasure to visit. There lunchtime menu is great value and when you add in the great service what's not to like.

Delicious meal and a great selection to choose from. Also lovely wines and again a good selection. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Four if us had 3-course meal from the lunch menu. This was my husband's & my first visit & we would definitely go again. It was very busy but the service was excellent with a good buzzy feel to the place. The set lunch menu was varied & different from the norm. Our criticism was that the extra vegetables were over-priced. Vegetables are cheap & should be included with the meal. Also the fact that they added a 12 & a half per cent service charge to the bill, far too much & not justified.

My lunch partner and I remarked to our very pleasant server that the choice of both main-courses and desserts were superb and a return visit will be carried out in the near future. We have both been to Cote, Amersham, either together or with other friends and we can only state that every time the service and meals have been excellent.

As usual, our meals were lovely and the staff very attentive and helpful. It is always a pleasant experience dining there and we look forward to our next visit.

Very good food on varied menu. Service a bit slow on a busy Sunday lunch. Would be happy to go back on another occasion. Recommended.

I am afraid the soup had to go back as it was only like warm. Came back piping hot and was delicious. The Sea Bass was also delicious

Food very good. Service very good and pleasant to begin but very slow after main course was served. Admittedly very busy (Saturday lunch ) but should have been more attentive.

Excellent food reasonably priced with friendly efficient staff . Pleasant surroundings creating a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is very good and the beef bourginon is highly recommended.

Always enjoy he food at Cote in Amersham - and it is always pretty busy - very buzzy atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient staff. I welcome these offers of a free bottle of wine with dishes chosen from the main course - so keep them coming please!!!

Food was delicious and staff very friendly. My only criticism is that the restaurant gets very noisy when it is busy at lunch time. Low ceilings and wooden floor!

The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. The staff were very friendly, especially our waiter, who patiently returned several times to take our order as we were chatting so much. A lovely, unhurried and relaxing atmoshere with very attentive staff. We always know we are going to enjoy our evening here at Cote and shall be returning again soon. Thank you. we were originally placed on a very small table for 3 guests but we're soon moved to a much larger one without any complaints on our part.... greatly appreciated

We were welcomed very warmly by the team and the server was good but the food was really average, my chicken which I have had before and enjoyed was really quite poor, overcooked and it looked like it had been hanging around as the skin was charred but not crispy, it was flacid. The servers forgot about us at the end of the night and we waited ages trying to get attention to get the bill.

Exccellent service and food as usual. Rather too long delay in setting up the table. Had to go and remind someone we were were waiting.

Everything was nice and the staff very pleasant. The one thing that could have been better was that no one offered us a drink soon after we sat down. We waited a while for our food order to be taken at which point we could ask for a drink. After that, everything was fine and we enjoyed the evening and food very much.

I had the duck and it was very good but the veg were too al dente, se returned them ,still on the hard side. Pud was excellent,though hot pud on cold plate.

Found out on arrival that we had booked for 08.00 not 20.00. All dealt with extremely well and a table found for us. Great food choice and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Need to be aware this restaurant can be a bit noisy.

Then on to the mains my husband had fish gougons, my son had duck my sons girlfriend had a mushroom risotto and I had the rapid steak with salad instead of chips. For sweet three of us had their to die for creme caramels and a cream brûlée. We were given four complimentary presseco kir to finish of the lovely evening as we were celebrating.

Fantastic evening with great food, tasty wine and attentive staff. I'm not sure what else can be said? Not much as everything was perfect. Fantastic.

Sitting in the passage was not really conducive but the food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and had time for us inspite of being very busy

Very good food, good ambience and friendly attentive service; a most enjoyable evening. One small complaint is that we would prefer our coffee after our dessert.

Enjoyable experience. Everyone had a good meal, service was good in a convivial atmosphere. The restaurant was busy but we were not kept waiting and not rushed either.

Very good value set menu for an early evening meal. Service was effeicient and helpful. Slight downside was seated near the waiters till etc which was distracting.

The team at Cote couldn’t have done more for us. Service was efficient and friendly, food was AMAZING and for my Mum’s birthday we were given complimentary kir royales and happy birthday sung to my Mum when her dessert arrived with candles - it made her day. We had beef bourginon and mushroom crepes and the food was superb, absolutely delicious, no complaints whatsoever. Thank you so much. We will definitely be returning!

Amazingly helpful staff and jolly good food. My starter was beautifully presented and was also delicious. This restaurant offers good value for money. Would visit again
