Excellent service & value for money. The menu choices were extensive & the food was well cooked & presented. My choices were delicious. A very good experience.

A long-overdue dinner with my sister, this turned out to be a well-chosen restaurant. To get the small complaints out of the way, we were intially seated at the back in the corner but had to move as there was a cold air blowing up from the floor. And the tables are really quite small. By the time they've made room for a candle, serviettes, flasses and a bottle, it's difficult to manage food. Next table was perfect. Food was exceptional, espcially all the vegetable dishes. Calamari followed by duck, pork belly, tarte aux pommes and creme brulee... all well-presented and sensible portions. Sauces were subtle, flavoursome and not overpowering. Dessert too was one of the best tarte aux pommes! Warm with very good vanilla ice-cream which I don't usually choose to accompany anything. But this was exceptional. The service needs special mention. An attentive waitress, helpful, friendly, conscientious... this is so rare and therefore much-appreciated. Proper service as I expect it. She had the perfect mix of courteousness and professionalism. A very good evening out. Yes, I will be back.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant but the meal was lukewarm and they brought the wrong side dish. The service was slow but friendly. A nice evening but found disappointing.

Pleasant evening but service was rather slow and not attentive enough for the inclusive 12.5 % tip. We felt we were a bit forgotten at times.

Excellent Visit with three friends for my birthday we all enjoyed a complimentary glass of Kia Royale . Excellent service and delicious food served by friendly professional staff , We are already planning another visit .

Other than one of our group being directed to the wrong table. This meant she sat on her her own waiting for us when we had already arrived. It was only by chance after waiting twenty minutes or so that I looked around the restaurant to see if our friend was sitting in the wrong table out of sight. Other than that the experience was a good one and the food was enjoyed by all.

Delicious food and we enjoyed the complimentary birthday kir royales! I hadn't realised that a tartine is actually something on toast though so that was a bit of a surprise. Chocolate mousse really good.

Early dinner, such amazing value. Lovely food, well presented and such good service. I would have preferred to choose to give the tip though instead of having 12.5% added. However this seems to be happening a lot lately! UK is turning into the US when it comes to tipping!

A treat for a special day. Staff charming and kind. Food delicious and appeared in a timely manner, despite the restaurant being very busy. Always one of our favourites.

I always enjoy meals at Cote and the special offer of a free 3 course meal for a friend was a terrific idea. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the restaurant was buzzing and the staff were very good - especially the young lady who seemed to be in charge front of house.

The service was excellent and attentive matched by the quality of the food. The ambience was pleasant and lead to a very pleasant evening , The adjoining tables did not detract or intrude on our table , although the table were not full.

Absolutely lovely! The restaurant the staff the food I would highly recommend. My steak was slighty over cooked but that is down to personal taste the meat was excellent! The service was prompt efficient and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good quality food and friendly service. The children loved the steak frites and the sparkling cranberry juice that they got whilst the adults drank kir royal. The only small negative was that we sat by a window without a blind and when the sun shone we were blinded.

Food was lovely. Didn't see that we had to order the veg as extras and were not offered them, so dishes appeared a bit boring with no colour from veg.

Great quality food at a reasonable if not cheap price. Parking in Amersham is not great during the day but worth persevering given experience. Cote are efficient and friendly service wise.

A lovely time was had by all 10 of us. Good cheerful service, food choice was good as was the food itself. Always a pleasure to eat here.

& of us went for a 70th birthday meal out . we had a 3 course meal .Meal was very nice apart from the steak for 1 which was cold .Service was slow but waiter was very pleasant.

The meal was very well presented and imaginatively prepared. It was a pleasure to spend some time in their restaurant. We will visit again in the near future.

The staff were really great, as it’s was my mums birthday they went out of their way to make us feel very special. The food was delicious.

A pleasant evening which I was able to book at short notice. The offer of a free bottle of wine as appreciated. The only setback is that the low ceiling accentuates the noise in the restaurant

Service and staff very pleasant, happy and helpful. Food selection good, tasty and portion control just about enough. Surroundings are OK but can get noisy due to hard surfaces. Drinks are a bit pricey.

Amazing experience! It was my birthday so we were given free Kia royal’s on arrival and the food was fantastic. Lovely, attentive staff. Loved it and would highly recommend!

I always love it at Cote in Old Amersham...the food is delicious and the service is great and you can chat away for hours with out being hounded out.

The area was rather nosier than usual. Food was of high standard and our waiter was charming. Minor delay with dessert which was apologised for and deduction made from bill. Charming restaurant and service . Will continue to enjoy and recommend.

We had a good time at cote Amersham. The food was good as was the service and we did not feel rushed. The free bottle of wine for January was a bonus!
