Côte Amersham

Fillet steak was very good - as too were the chips. Service was excellent - very accommodating and flexible as I had got my timings wrong.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening at Cote Amersham. Good food and excellent service and we were able to take advantage of the complimentary drink

Lovely brasserie - hadn’t been to this one before. Brunch was delicious as I’ve come to expect from cote - perfect poached eggs. Smooth coffee. Will be back.

The service, ambiance and food just as good as always. The young lady that served us was attentive and cheerful and gave us enough time to sort out our choices

I was very happy with my visit to Cote Brasserie yesterday. The food was excellent- the lunchtime menu had a very good choice of food and it is good value. Service was good. I will be returning as this is currently my preferred restaurant.

We were celebrating a Golden Wedding Anniversary (four of us). The lunch was excellent, as was the service and the ambience. Thank you Cote for making it special !

Great service, staff were all very friendly. The food was great too, I enjoyed that they have new summer dishes so there was a lot to choose from.

we are regular customers but unfortunately this Sunday it was so hot in the restaurant that we had to leave before having our favourite Creme Caramel , come on guys get the A/C sorted out

It was a special family birthday lunch. Our guests had motored up from Bath for the day. Sadly we were shown to a table with no view of any other diners in the restaurant. It was a beautiful sunny day but not where we were eating. So disappointing. We would have loved to have been in the main seating area and not tucked round the corner. I had booked so I could not understand why we were given this table. The staff were very pleasant and efficient.

We always have an enjoyable meal at Cote in Amersham. The staff are professional and friendly. Service was excellent and the food was served promptly and freshly cooked. The restaurant has been sensitively kept in character in Amersham’s historic town.

They had run out of mussels, the food was lovely and atmosphere was good. I would just like the service charge to go to who served me, that’s why I took the service charge off and gave a tip to my server, I don’t want to give it to your managers.

Excellent food and service. This restaurant is suitable for all ages and I would recommend it. The staff are always welcoming and the price of the food is very good value.

Tasty first course of mackerel, unfortunately main dish of plaice was very small and way overcooked. More like a fritter! Although there was no charge ìt spoiled the evening.

Steak was disappointing but was replaced without much ado- and not charged as 'you had to wait'! so full marks for service. Duck & drinks all good

Always a lovely meal at Côte Brasserie only negative this time was I would say the steaks were rare rather than medium rare. Staff were very patient as catching up with old friends we were the last to leave!

As ever very good service and value for money. Recommended for both coffee morning get together, six of us meet every month, and for lunches.

I cannot praise them highly enough. Excellent food and excellent service. The only minor annoyance is the 12.5% optional service charge which should be set at 10% but given the level of service I choose to overlook this minor annoyance.

We went for an early dinner. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We started with a cool pampelle spritz followed by chicken pate on brioche and pissaladière. The mains came promptly and the desserts of creme caramel were divine. We shall definitely return.

Excellent welcome, ambiance, service and food. We were celebrating two birthdays and were made to feel very special. As, I am sure, we’re all the guests.

Our meal was on the whole very nice but one of our party was very unhappy with their cous cous meal. This was dealt with professionally and a sweet or a coffee was offered in compensation. Our only real disappointment was diners at a table next to us being so loud that it spoilt our lunch time date and we were unable to converse normally. We love Cote and look forward to our next lunch date very soon.

Our meal was brilliant as usual and the staff are always excellent. Unfortunately, a group of people on the next table to ours were very noisy, so we found it difficult to hear what we were saying. I have now found out what number table is quiet, so when booking I will ask for that. Another couple of people actually moved tables, but we had started our meal before the noisy ones arrived.

The service and quality of the food was very good We will be booking again mainly in the lunchtime in the week Very happy and would recommend this place for any lunch

As usual, excellent and attentive service. Great choice of starters and entrees. Both selections were outstanding in the quality of ingredients and the creativity of the dishes.

Good service as always. Food just fine and request on choice of table honoured. In this unusually hot weather - might want to consider putting up a blind on the windows - as the early evening sun on our table indoors did give us some discomfort.

Food was great as was the service. Would be happy to recommend this restaurant. The only negative is that they seem to have stopped playing the lovely Jazz music they played when it first opened.

Cote Amersham menu is always interesting and we look forward to returning again. Staff are cheerful and very helpful. Food and service, as always, excellent.

Had a lovely relaxing lunch with friends. The waitress was very welcoming, and most helpful about vegetarian dishes one of our party . Will definitely go again.

Always excellent service and delicious French food at reasonable prices. The Breton fish stew is authentic and nothing is too much trouble for all the staff.

Fairly busy but the 7 of us were sat in a good spot, not too cold nor hot. Service a little down on the usual good service, a newish staff member served us, sadly without the usual Cote smile. Food was good as usual, the Crème Brulee is always a tasty way to finish the meal.

The atmosphere is very nice here, the food Is good and the service is friendly and efficient. It is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

Great service, great food and set menu choices and exceptional effort for my daughter's birthday! Card, balloons, cake and staff singing!....beyond other restaurants and much appreciated.

The staff were very helpful and polite and, most importantly, the food was great. Good value and very enjoyable evening. We are already looking forward to returning.

As always the food is first class very friendly staff and excellent value for money. Very clean and attractive restaurant one of our favourites. Will be there again soon.

Great food and service as usual - Amersham Cote is really lovely with a strong customer focus. Unfortunately with the warm weather they had run out of tomato and melon starters from the menu!

Good food - but two dishes ordered out of stock (melon & ham?!) and tomato starter! Service was good and attentive but disappointing that not everything on the menu was available!

Food delicious, as always, and made fun by the young man Harry who served us. The atmosphere is always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Great at lunchtime, and for a special supper.

Another family get together and as always the team at cote look after us as though we are friends, nothing is ever too much trouble for them.

An intimate meal with my husband for no other reason that cote is our favourite local, food fab, service fab and a lovely calm atmosphere

Good absolutely amazing..had the calamari for starters,melted in the mouth then the ribeye steak..so tender,partner had the pate and fish stew both very very tasty

My friend and I both are regulars to Côte Brassiere in many other locations. Always find the staff are welcoming. Good service and food delicious. Parking in Amersham is easy.
