Côte Amersham

I took several members of my family to celebrate a grandson's A level results. Food was excellent and service efficient and friendly. The only downside is that in the low ceiling area the noise level can make conversation difficult with a large party. I have eaten at several branches of Cote and am impressed by the overall quality of the operation and the "authentic" Brasserie ambiance.

OK, but not as good as previous times we’ve been to Côte for breakfast. Service could have been better - fruit juice was forgotten until we reminded a waitress.

I waswith my 2 daughters, food was extremely good and staff were also very good in spite of being very busy. We enjoyed our lunch

The food was wonderful as was the service, but the little alcove we sat in which had 3 tables had poor acoustics which spoilt the atmosphere somewhat.

Fabulous service. Food average. Price not bad. Would certainly come again. Very busy so good atmosphere. Unfortunately we had table at front of restaurant and would have preferred to sit further in.

Excellent service and attention from waiting staff. The food as always was fresh and perfectly cooked. It was a birthday dinner and we both enjoyed the evening. Perfect location in old Amersham town. We would definitely recommend and look forward to our next visit.

As good as ever, great service and lovely food. Love going there. There was a small group of us and we had a very nice time.

We were given the table we had requested - Excellent ambience and the staff were very attentive. Our meal was brought to the table quickly. The fish was delicious.

The service was as ever very good. Two slight disappointments with the food: a side dish of golden beetroot with tarragon was utterly lacking in any flavour - the few tarragon leaves didn't add anything. And the crepe dessert, which we'd expected to be warm, was severely chilled. But our starters and main dishes were excellent.

Poor service. Waiter forgot side order and then drinks from the order. Waited ages just to pay as well which topped it all off for us

I asked for a table in the window when I made my booking and one was reserved for me (even though 8.30 Friday night). Staff friendly and efficient; food was bistrot quality. We loved the free drink - obtained by registering on the Cote website. Restaurant in a good location on the Old Amersham high street.

Not happy to be presented with a 12.5% service charge on our bill! Needless to say, we refused to pay it and left our own tip on the table.

Great food and friendly staff with excellent service. We will certainly be back very soon.Lots of available parking available close by the restaurant is a bonus.

Really appreciated G & T - so tasty and refreshing. Great atmosphere and meal served at exactly the right pace. Will be back again as always.

We had a warm, friendly welcome on arrival and efficient service throughout our meal. We will certalnly be making a return visit(s) in the future.

As usual we enjoyed an excellent meal and service in Cote. Best of all though was my realisation that I had left my jacket behind. I rang Cote and said I would collect it but within a very short space of time a taxi turned up at my address and I was handed my jacket - no charge! Admirable!!

As per usual, Cote Amersham comes out tops. Excellent food at excellent value for money. Staff attentive and polite. We have been many times and it always excellent!

The manager and staff were excellent. Our waitress was very cheerful and attentive. I had the table that I requested. The food was good, as always. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Front of house was 100% in the mark. Also his Irish coffee despite being in a French cuisine environment was Perfext! Thank you for a great night!

A very pleasant ambience when you enter the restaurant coplemented by friendly welcoming and helpful staff. The menu is very varied with something for every taste and the food definitely has taste especially the August specials which my husband thought were excellent ---praise indeed !!

The pork belly was bought to the table very dry on the outside and had to be sent back, also lunch service was very slow nearly 2 hours for our lunch over 30 minutes between starters and main course, standards have been dropping consistently.

As always the food and service were great! Have visited here on many occasions and have never been disappointed, definitely one of the best restaurants in Old Amersham.

We had a lovely time - great service and great food. Always a really good option for dinner, and they cater for kids really well.

Regular venue to meet some friends and it's absolutely excellent. Very good menu with lots of choices. Atmosphere is relaxed. Food was terrific and staff were helpful, efficient and polite - so couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be back. One tiny observation - not sure I'm convinced about them adding a 12.5% 'optional' service gratuity. I'd rather decide that myself.

It’s our third time at Côte after we were introduced to the restaurant by friends. We have enjoyed every meal we have had. The food was superb and the service was excellent.

Great service - swift, friendly and not intrusive. Food delicious. Good value for £82 including drinks. Will definitely return. Couldnt fault it. Well done indeed !!

Enjoyable meal yet again. Plenty of choices on menu. Good that menu changes frequently , so that there is always something different to try. Staff friendly and helpful.

This was my second visit to cote in Amersham and once again lovely meal at a reasonable price. Staff were friendky polite and efficient. Enjoyable evening.

Excellent value menus, with a new Premium Menu with superb dishes - 2 for £15.95 as well as the regular 2 course offer of £11.95. Nice atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff as well. Excellent.

Everything about this restaurant is “just about ok - nothing special”. Food is pretty average and service pretty slow at times. I’m looking forward to one day thinking it’s moved up a gear.

Always enjoyable and reliable. The Amersham Côte is a regular venue for us. We feel comfortable there and very much at home with the menu.

This is our 2nd visit to Cote Brasserie in Amersham. We dined there some while ago during their first month in situ. We were very pleased with the online booking procedure via Quandoo. The staff and manager couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We had a nice corner table in the center of the main dining area; although we don't order mountains of food, our light mains were served very quickly, in a friendly and efficient manner, and were delicious, as expected. All in all, a very enjoyable experience once more. Well done, Cote Brasserie. We will return, for sure.

Good meal, helpful and friendly staff. They were very busy but we did not mind not being rushed. Always worthwhile booking a table as Amersham is short of good places to eat.

Had a Lovely meal very busy staff coping with being short staffed would recommend to family & friends very nice atomsphere will be back in the future.

A lovely meal this evening with my Mum for a special occasion. The service was excellent as usual. We will definitely go back there again.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our choice of menu and were very well looked after. We are an elderly couple and there were children there and wihout asking we were taken to a quieter area of the restaurant. I have given it the top rating. My only small criticism was that it was a bit dark where we were.

We really enjoyed the food, plus the wine list is interesting even though rightly dominated by french wines. Our main was delivered very early as we had just started some bread and olives. The staff quickly apologised and then delivered freshly cooked meals at the appropriate time. It's very consistent as a chain which is what customers want as I've been to Liverpool restaurant a few times and always liked it. A very good chain restaurant. We went again the next evening and it was spot on.

A reunion of 8 'girls' and good venue. Everyone enjoyed and service was very good. Also prepared to adapt set menu for our vegetarian option
