Thank you for the most amazing evening. We have not been out for ages and we are in need of a quality high class dinner before lockdown! Your service was on point and the food was DElicious. We thought you had adapted so well to the Covid restrictions. Our only comment which is not a problem but just a thought, was that we were served by 6+ staff throughout the evening. We have no problem with this but knowing how some people are (also we have to review H&S in our jobs so we think about these things!), would it be better for fewer staff to interact with tables? As I say, we LOVED our evening, thank you so much and we hope this might help you. We look forward to visiting post lockdown 😁

Excellent welcome and service from delightful staff working so hard to please everyone during these highly unusual times Food was good but chateaubriand could have been hotter and was more rare than medium rare - still delicious though. Also, next time I have the baked crottin I will ask for it to be baked for longer. However we love Cote and eat there as often as possible We’re hoping to try Cote at home having read jay Rayners article and you’ve also offered us tempting bottle of fizz for my husband’s birthday. The meal was excellent and the service was first class. The manager could not be praised enough for his politeness and efficiency.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose to come here for a celebratory meal. It was disappointing. The starters were fine as was my wife's main course chicken dish, if a little spartan. My Boeuf Bourgignon was very poor - dry and tough, overcooked. I gave up after eating half the portion as my jaw ached! We also asked one of the management staff to recommend a wine to accompany the Boeuf dish. She said she couldn't as she didn't know what wines we liked - not very professional. Overall a disappointing meal and a restaurant we will not hurry to revisit.

Great staff and very good food all round. Wine wasn't cold due to fridge problem but ice was given and 2nd bottle much better. Table was for 6, I don't really think the booths should take that many in today's environment, maximum 4 and put 6 on open tables as we would then not be squashed.

Friendly efficient staff. Good atmosphere. We hope it will still reopen for Christmas

The ambiance and level of service are consistently good. You always know you will not be disappointed by the food or the professional well trained staff. You feel you are spoiling yourself but at the same time not leaving a big hole in your wallet.

Had a lovely meal in Cote in Amersham. Our waiter was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.. have been several times and will be definitely returning.

Excellent as normal. Felt very safe and with helpful friendly staff. Food as always very good and value for money.

Ate early so the restaurant was not full at all - so the social distancing worked well. Food was great especially the Chateau-Briand which was cooked to perfection. Overall a great dining experience to be repeated

Our waiter was first class. Very chatty and happy. Service was good and food was excellent.

Main course not as good as usual, meat a bit tough. Not sure that the inner restaurant seating is Covid friendly.

A little disappointing - which was a shame. I had to return my meal as overcooked. Butter wasn t served with bread. Service was recovered by waiting staff - but sadly not as good as I’d hope.

Never disappointed when visiting Cote. This time it was to celebrate a 75th Birthday. The Chateaubriand was absolutely delicious. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit enjoyable and safe in these very difficult times.

We came for coffee last week. We were so impressed with the young lady who served us. She was so friendly and helpful, that we came back for lunch. We brought our daughter and son in law. All the food was excellent, as was the service.

It is good to have it open again will go back

My friend and I had brunch. She had the Full English and I had the French breakfast. Both were generous quantities, nicely presented and very tasty. Mine was let down by the fact that the brioche wasn’t included, although included in the description. We did feel that less tables could have been used to ensure Covid safety.

An enjoyable meal with family. Good food and service. The venue was comfortable and overall the experience was very pleasant. Can recommend the Amersham Cote location.

Pretty good - we’ll be back. Just a shame the Dessert Special Crepe Grand Marnier was made with a very dry Crepe.

Fantastic food, a lovely atmosphere and our waitress was fantastic with our 4 year old daughter as well as being super attentive. Felt a special place to come for our little celebration. Thank you!

Great food and service yet again. Always reliable. The only disappointment on this occasion was that the cocktail of the month was unavailable. We had booked. Specifically to enjoy what sounded like a very different cocktail to one we have ever had since it was fig liqueur based. Apparently the supplier could not provide the ingredients. We were offered an alternative and enjoyed a kid royale.

Amazing food, staff did a fantastic job all really welcoming and attentive.

Great food, v friendly staff. A bit annoying that we had to wait c45 min for a simple main course on a weekday lunch slot. Good gesture to remove drinks costs for inconvenience. Would come again though.
