Never fails to please, great food and lovely staff would recommend to friends.Have been numerous times for meeting with girlfriends and will definetely be going again.

An excellent early evening meal. The starter and dessert were delicious and the main course was good although I was not sure that the haricot beans went with the hake. Very good value for money.

Good lunch. A bit noisy at the table we were at, between the waiter station and an open hatch to the bar. The food was very tasty and well presented. Would go back

I assume that this is in ascending order, with 1 being the lowest grade! The food was delicious and very good value. Service was a little slow, but that wasn't surprising as it was very busy and that was cancelled out because our waitress was delightful. Unfortunately, the absence of any soft furnishings does make the restaurant very noisy which makes conversation round the table difficult, and does make me consider a change of venue.

Love Cote but the leek started shouldn’t be on the menu. Needed a steak knife to cut across it -without success! So didn’t charge for coffee. Hake excellent. Excellent waitress and atmosphere.

Always good food and lovely service from waiter's and waitresses. Only criticism is the restaurant is noisy when busy but a good atmosphere. Try it and see for yourself!

Not the best meal! Asked for my tuna rare, it was served medium so I complained & they offered to change & they did exactly the same again, by them the rest of my friends were half way through their main course! Disappointing.

First class service and delicious food. I would recommend this restaurant to all age groups as it is so reliably good and there is a nearby car park.

Lovely flavoursome food,as always with friendly staff. We were in booth as requested but difficulty hearing ourselves as next booth extremely noisy, perhaps they could have been seated in the far end booth which was empty gather than next to us.

Excellent meal and very good service - all staff enthusiastic and helpful. Noise from local fair in street not ideal but only a temporary inconvenience and they are now long gone!

The staff were very courteous. It was nice not being rushed. Food very good and the three course set menu was good value. Would go again.

Good food, waitress was just OK, but a manager put matters right. The problem was the coffee came before the desert & therefore the coffee was cold when it was drunk

Food was good. Service excellent. We have never been disappointed on our visits there for lunch. Looking forward to our next visit and would recommend it to anyone.

service was good the waitress had only been there three days but she was polite and helpful. We didn't like the tables been so close together as you can hear what they are talking about.

A nice, relaxing evening at Cote Amersham with my husband. I ordered sea bass which came with 2 pieces and a lovely sauce. We’ll be bqck again soon.

Another excellent experience at Cote in Old Amersham. The quality of the food and service are without doubt some of the best in the area. Its great to see that the restaurant is gaining in popularity as it was very full on our last visit and I would always recommend to book ahead. We look forward to visiting again.

We were given a table for 2 "squashed" in between other parties and in a very draughty position. Eventually we asked to be moved, which was better. We noticed that all the old staff, who had been there for some time had all left (or were not there) and we didn't know anyone. The changes must have happened in a matter of weeks as we usually try and go to the restaurant once a month.

We received great service, the food was very good and the atmosphere was convivial. This restaurant is particularly nice as there are different seating areas depending on your mood or companions.

Still a restaurant that has a touch of French atmosphere alsodepictedin the menu. A very good variety set luncheon menu at a reasonable price . C'est Bon

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch with a very cheerful and attentive waitress. It was a shame that the 2 people on the table very close to ours were very loud!! It was difficult to concentrate on our own conversation!

The service was excellent as is usually the case. Unusually the fish main course was rather dry which is why you dropped a point. I was impressed however that we were not charged for the dish even we did not ask you to do so. The steak and mussels were excellent but sorry to see that Chablis was no longer available by the glass. Still the best all round eatery in the Amersham area although the prices seem to be creeping up.

Friendly service. The set menu, the price of which has gone up quite a bit, was well presented. My friend’s boiled potatoes were not cooked enough which she fond difficult to cut. My special request of leaving out the shallots was honoured and we were well looked after. It’s a very busy place always so it’s important not to let standards slip.

As usual the staff give a warm welcome. Will be returning next month when more menu changes may be in place! Thank you Kayna for looking after me.

Despite receiving at least 2 confirmatory emails, my booking could not be found in the book! However, y guest and I had a very nice (quiet) table as I had requested. The food was delicious - my veal escalope was very tender and hot, and the frites were good. I think my friend's cod goujons were good, and her pavlova was delicious and full of succulent fruit. Service was cheerful and willing. All in all a good experience. I will be back!

Enjoyable food as alway, thought my dark chocolate dessert was smaller size than usual. Friendly attentive staff, relaxed environment, would recommend to friends, great value.

Fantastic service and great food, lovely evening. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. My husband’s steak was over cooked , we may not have sent it back but one of the waiters noticed and sorted it out, service was outstanding all round.

This Cote is a cut above others I have been too Delightful staff Food is just great. Amersham is a lovely place. We shall be back.

The food was excellent as usual. The Amersham restaurant always has a nice atmosphere. The roast duck was beautifully done and my guests enjoyed the steak frites and also the pork belly. Always good to take people to as, so far, it hasn’t disappointed.

Excellent service even at a busy time as yesterday lunchtime. Food was to the usual high standard and the price of the "Prestige" menu was quite reasonable. The staff was, as always, pleasant especially our server - Jessica B.

Nice restaurant, nice food, but drinks far too expensive. £9+ for glass of white wine is way over the top and Diet Coke worked out dearer than vodka. Don’t like the idea of adding service charge as I like to give my own tip to make sure staff get it.

Very busy Friday night, staff lovely, food excellent, atmosphere great, really nice evening, only complaint,s the white wines were not cold enough and the table water had no ice ,again to warm.

Food is always great with an interesting and varied menu including vegetarian options. Set menu really great value. Wonderful post card location ideal for post lunch/dinner stroll
