Côte Amersham

The food was amazing, high quality, and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of wines, but none sweet enough for my taste.

'Average' would be an undue compliment for the experience we had here yesterday. Our waiter was superb and the environment is very pleasant, but that didn't make up for undercooked chicken, tough & tasteless vegetables, dried-up potatoes and a very long wait for it all to come to the table. Cannot recommend.

Very nice meal with friends, restaurant always has a lovely buzz with excellent food & attentive service; we look forward to returning to eat at Cote

We are never disappointed when we visit Cote in Amersham. The staff are welcoming and efficient and the food is delicious as well as being extremely good value. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant to all age groups.

The food was good and the waitress was helpful and friendly. However, the service was very slow and I feel she had too many tables to look after.

An excellent restaurant with a wide and varied choice of dishes for all occasions. Pricing is reasonable and I would definitely return to this very pleasant venue when next in town. My only criticism would be the noise factor but one could argue that is because fellow diners are enjoying their experience and happy maybe.

Cote Amersham scores again....excellent! As ever, an excellent menu which offered excellent food, served by excellent friendly staff in an excellent atmosphere. Well done Cote, Amersham!

As always we had a very good meal at Cote in Amersham. Service was excellent, nice quiet table and our meals all hot and tasty

We arrived and staff immediately had our booking Takent to our table and given menus with polite information and then left us After around 5/10 mins I did have to ask if we could order some drinks After this from then on all very good Very friendly and attentive staff It was my sons birthday we all had different food and all was delicious We have been quite a few times and will continue to go Quite good value Gratuity was on the bill which was 12,5 % Did have the option to takeoff as normally i tend to leave 10% I left it as it was on the bill as we had all enjoyed our meal

Staff really make this restaurant very enjoyable. A great early evening with friends in a buzzy but not too noisy atmosphere.

Usual Cote excellent meal and service, would prefer own free car parking facilities though??!! Otherwise very comfortable and ideal location for our families to celebrate a birthday together!

Good meal and good service. Only slight issue was that one of the mains was wrong and therefore came late. Overall though, a very pleasant evening.

Overall very pleased with our evening. Only disappointment was we all wanted fillet steak and they had run out. However had the sirloin and it was very nice.

I always enjoy my visits to Cote in Amersham. The food is excellent value, the staff are efficient and friendly. The restaurant can sometimes be a little noisy, but I now know which tables to avoid!

Good food as always and good value for money. , restaurant in nice location. Dependable food and service in pleasant surroundings . We had a table where 2 hearing impaired members of the party could hear.

Just had another very good lunch at Cote Amersham. Lunchtime menu excellent choice and value for money. Excellent choice of food from several menus. Looking forward to next visit.

Excellent food as usual ,and the staff at Amersham excellent.we always use cote as some of the family are gluten free and the menu for that is extensive.Hard to find in lots of other restaurants.

Good service - table which was to one side so quite quiet. Food excellent and good choice. Service quite reasonably quick and friendly considering how full the restaurant was.

My friend and I both had the Langoustines from the lunch time set menu, also the steak fritte. The only thing was that the steak fritte was not as rare as it usually is, so that is why I gave the meal a 5.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Wine list had a broad range albeit a little overpriced. Great service from our waitress. Will certainly come again. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff. Good table and the food was great too. I have recently been diagnosed as gluten intolerant and they were able to cope with this easily without it being a big deal. Will definitely be back!

the service waa impeccable the food was not good. My guest's pork casserole was so dry .. Had it been my meal I would have sent it back but she was too polite to make such a request and said that she thought it was ' tasty' - it looked terrible and so did the mashed potato.. I did complain about my 'roast ' vegetables not being 'roast' at all - for which there were profuse apologies and another substitute plate was brought... and I was given a 25 per cent discount on my meal.. which was thoughtful but in no way really compensated.. I shall never go there again.

The food was excellent, good value for money, the special menu for 2 or 3 courses before the monthly concert. The only complaint we had was that service was very slow as they were quite busy.

Delicious meal as always. Both lunchtime menu are excellent value for money; the crème caramel is the best I have ever tasted. The only downside is that the restaurant is sometimes a little noisy.

We were slightly disappointed that one of our favourite starters was not available but it was, after all, NYD so we just got on with it. The service was accurate and helpful if a little leisurely but we prefer that to being hurried.

We enjoyed a very good breakfast. I particularly like the French Toast and fruit salad which aren't served in any places . The staff are always friendly and helpful.

It is always a pleasure to visit Cote in Amersham. The staff welcome you like a long lost friend, food is excellent, try the Seafood Parmentier - it is exceptional. Also the service could not be faulted.

Excellent food. Ribeye steak was perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere and decor and there was friendly and attentive service. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended

Sorry but our meals last night were really not good. I had the Duck Leg which was well over cooked, I think that it had been warmed through with a Microwave as it was absolutely red hot but the Potatoes and Spinach were cold. My Wife had a Fillet Steak with Green Beans and Mashed Celeriac. The Steak was cooked really well and the Sauce lovely but the Celeriac and Green Beans were cold and not a good flavour. I wouldn't have written this if it was my first bad experience but the last time we had a meal there was also a very bad experience. Cote was my stand-by restaurant chain and we ate at one every time that we wanted a reasonable restaurant including Leamington Spa and Bath.

We love meeting up here. Cheerful, helpful, friendly, efficient staff and consistent quality of food. Great value brunch - three different cooked breakfasts ordered and very clean plates returned. Really good coffee and delicious fresh orange juice. Also come here for lunches - excellent set menus. For me, Cote are the best value and most reliable group restaurants around.

Party enjoyed the food and wine.Ordering was a little slow but got there in the end and food arrived quickly which was good news as table was needed in 1 hour 30 minutes!

Beautiful building in Old Amersham and attentive service from the staff. We were amazed how smooth the service actually was, considering how many full tables there were in the restaurant. Would recommend this place to others and will definitely return.

Usual high quality, friendly service, great atmosphere with an amazingly wide menu choice at a reasonable if not cheap price. Keep the same levels as now.

Food and service great, just had to move table. We'd been given a table for four alongside the window giving onto the bar. Couldn't hear each other over the hiss of the coffee machine and the clinking of glasses.
