We were given a different starter to the one we ordered but the head waitress argued that it was the correct dish. We eat at this restaurant regularly and always have the same starter , despite informing the waitress of this fact she still argued that we we in the wrong!! So frustrating. She eventually took the cost of one of the starters off the bill. The attitude of this member of staff was just not good enough.

We had a lovely meal service was very good and a nice atmosphere we are regular customers and they also try to reserve our favourite table.

Excellent... ...it's been a few year since we dined at the Amersham branch, and we have always know that Cote food is always very good. What really singles out this branch is the staff and the wonderful dining atmosphere that is created as a result! We will be back much more often as it ticks all of the boxes....thanks again for a great experience and making my wife's birthday so much more special! :) Pete

Excellent restaurant our local and always enjoy - rib eye gorgeous and steak tartare!! Please don’t take that off the menu!!😂 All the staff there are lovely especially the lady manager from poland and Mitsja our waiter looked after us so we’ll Thank you

An excellent meal. The food was delicious - beautifully cooked lamb and duck breast. The service was prompt and congenial, without hurry, so we had plenty of good conversation. The wine, a rose, was better than expected and we had no difficulty in finishing the bottle between the three of us. Altogether a very pleasant night out.

Great food and service, lovely booth table as requested. Good selection on the early bird menu and good to see there were two early bird options, standard and prestige plus al a crate so really something for everyone. Also with Cote you don’t feel as though you’re in a chain restaurant. Good evening had by all, thank you.

Ambiance was fine and the staff were average in the service. We sat down at 8.15 and waited 30 minutes to be served our first course. I had duck breast with gratin potatoes. The duck was reasonable but there was no cherry sauce as such, it consisted of a few small cherries but no sauce. The gratin potatoes were very good. Overall the meal could have been hotter. My wife had lamb rump which she said was very tough and chewed, she was only able to eat two out of three pieces of the meat. The meal was served with far too many new potatoes. Overall, we found the quality of the meal poor and expensive for what it was. The price of a small bottle of beer and a glass of wine was not good value. Finally, I did feel that the compulsive service charge was excessive and that gratuities should be awarded for the service judged by the customer. Not an experience I will repeat again.

I had the mussels to start and maybe it was an off night but they where poor quality, very small, some closed and others just disintegrated, I had a sea food main and mussels where the same, I did inform the waitress who was very nice and deducted the charge from my bill, I can’t fault the service or the staff but the food was just not up to standard.

We had a very pleasant anniversary dinner at the cute brasserie. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service attentive, but not intrusive, and the food excellent. The Chateaubriand and Creme caramel are highly recommended. A free bottle of wine made the whole exercise very affordable. Enjoyable.

Lunch time get together with special friends was great. Our food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely come again.

Great value 2 course lunch. Steak frites and my Cote favourite-creme caramel. Staff were lovely and decorated my mothers dessert with extra fruit and a candle. It was her 86th birthday and she has Alzheimer's so it made her day.

Every visit here is always pleasurable. The food is consistently excellent and I think the staff are recruited for their customer service skills, which is evident when you're there. We never feel pressured to pay and leave when we've been! There is quite a substantial menu both for a la carte and the 2 or 3 course fixed menu

As usual, Cote did not disappoint. Our visits here last 3 hours but we never feel pressurised to vacate. The staff here are always excellent - as is the food. Our last visit, the restaurant was quite full and was a LITTLE noisy (but nothing too bad at all!)

Great deals, great food, great staff. Only irritation was that the menu should show everything that comes with each meal; the pork did not mention potatoes so we ordered some and wasted our money as it came with some anyway which was annoying.

4 of my guests were 1.5 hours late for lunch due to an accident on the M3 in Surrey.Nevertheless the staff were very accommodating and polite ....much appreciated. We have attended many of your Brasseries and as usual both the food and service very good.

We were a group of four who regularly visit Cote Amersham for a pre-cinema dinner at 17:30 on Friday or Saturday. This Saturday when we arrived the restaurant was fairly full and a birthday party for a 2-year old had uncontrolled noisy children running around. Two of us had the thin steak which was exellent. The other two had a burger which was overcooked and dry. We complained and were given free desserts. This experience is most unusual for us at Cote.

I was out with a friend, this time in Amersham., excellent service and food. Cote is consistently good, this was my second visit in a week, last one in Reading, always consistent, a firm favourite for me.

As always the food was very good. Particularly enjoyed the June special chicken with fennel and olives. We were in the side area, which seemed to impact the service, very hard to get the waiter’s attention, which slowed things down. But overall a good evening out.

The Breton Fish Stew was exceptional tonight. Have had it in the past and it was not as good as tonight. It seems to be down to whoever the chef and team are on the night.

Lovely meal though on this occasion the service was a bit lacklustre. I think our server was very new so that did not spoil our visit. Otherwise as good as ever an experience.
