We both had main course of Hachis Parmentier which was excellent. For starters my wife had the Sardines. OK but very small portion. I had the Pork Rillettes - OK but a little difficult to eat and a bit dry.

Really loved our evening. Food was excellent, as we're the staff. Excellent value for money too.

Very disappointed today our table was booked for 12 .30 first course came at about 1.15 but main course didn’t arrive until 2 . 20 . Just as we were about to give up and leave .

Our party of 7 were very satisfied with our visit Menu provides a varied choice and five different meals were chosen. Two of us had duck breast which we found to be very chewy and not as good as on a previous visit Biggest problem is noise level which greatly hinders conversation

Perfect table, as requested in the window. Friendly staff. Delicious starter however main course was a huge disappointment. Two of us ordered the Blood Orange Salad to start with which was absolutely delicious! Fresh, crisp and exciting! We then had the Chicken with Sarladaise Potatoes. What a disappointment! The chicken breast was very thin, dry and tough. The lardons were big, fatty and really chewy. The jus was barely there and the whole dish needed seasoning! Couldn’t taste the garlic at all! Usually the meat dishes here are delicious but this was a real let down. It was dull and bland.

The restaurant was quieter than usual (Monday) which was good. One of the guests found the restaurant rather chilly and the ladies - freezing!

Breakfast was the best ever - tasty, beautifully cooked and hot. Lovely atmosphere. Service was slow but that's excused when the food is so good.

It was a good venue for my birthday lunch with my family . Our ages ranged from eighty one to two and a half.The little ones were kept busy with a set of crayons and stickers each whilst their elders enjoyed an aperitif. Good menu , something for everyone.

Very good meal as ever. The 2 main courses of fish stew and half a Breton chicken were excellent. The complimentary bottle of wine was great. A very enjoyable evening.

What a lovely morning - welcomed by fab staff, given a table in the window. Delicious breakfast and a glass of bubbly with my friend - just checked on and never disturbed - can't wait to go again.

Although busy we were seated quickly in a cosy window table. Menu delivered as we sat down plus any unavailable items advised to us. Order taken after a few minutes and food delivered in a timely manner. Outstanding value for our 2 courses from the set menu. Just water to drink as trying out a dry January!!!

We stopped going to the restaurant for some time, because we had a couple of bad experiences, but this time we went mid afternoon, so the service and quality of food was much better.

The restaurant was particularly busy and so noise levels were especially high but this said, the food and service were of a Consistently high standard for this type of restaurant.

Very good food, when it arrived. There was a really long wait, even when we were told it would be another 3 or 4 minutes, it was a lot more. The restaurant was busy, late lunchtime on a Sunday, maybe they weren't expecting it!

The food is the main attraction - truly excellent, tasty, filling - but also the staff and service are consistently good - friendly but professional. I even like the music.

I always enjoy the French Breakfast for Sunday brunch but couldn’t help feeling portion size( particularly the boudin noir and mushroom serving) had shrunk today hence 4 rather then 5 stars

The minute steak was very touch and almost mince like sadly but otherwise, very good service and family friendly, love the envelopes!

Service, food, drink, ambience value for money all first class. It was a busy Friday early evening, Noise was inevitable but not overwhelmingly.

Our visit today was to check Cote Brasserie for a later larger family gathering. We have now booked that, so that shows that we were quite happy. The menu is very extensive including some attractive everyday items.

Excellent service as always and delicious lunch as always so all good thank you !

Pleasant experience - food was middling - the pork tenderloin was disappointing and lacked taste - but the stroganoff and minute steaks were good. Mussels v good. Felt a little rushed and would prefer a more leisurely timing on food serving. Overall a very pleasant evening and particularly good value for money
