Excellent in every aspect....food, ambience and service. Free glass of air Rousle for seven friends. Lovely birthday pud with candle provided as surprise...will definitely come back.

The food is always great and the service is impeccable. The restaurant is very pleasant and the wines are great. Always a great experience. We are regular customers.

Food was a good standard, coffee was nice and nice selection of breakfasts - service was pleasant if a touch slow, nice surroundings, good value.

Would have been better if the sea bass had a crispy skin. Also I ordered a second bottle of water -twice that never arrived, one glass of wine at lunch is enough. Otherwise fine.

I always enjoy the food but the stand out positive is the excellent service from manager. He's a credit to the restaurant. Happy to recommend.

Lovely meal, great service, great atmosphere. We were a group of 7 ladies and had a very enjoyable evening. The only thing I would say is to inform customers when main courses are without vegetables so that a side can be ordered.

Very pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff. Breakfast was a little slow arriving, for which there was an apology. Will go again on Sunday to see how things look then.

Very professional and welcoming greeting. Delicious food as always. Charming and attentive service. We declined the initial table offered as it was adjacent to the noisy workstation. Lots of empty bottles being frequently discarded. We were very happy with the alternative table location.

I took my granddaughter along for an evening meal as she was celebrating. Excellent service and food. Reasonable price. She suggested that we went again to this restaurant when she next visits me.

We were late arriving due to an event going on in the town and difficulty parking. Nevertheless, the staff were lovely and the food excellent as usual. It was my son's first visit to Cote and he too enjoyed his meal and will definitely be returning.

The service was not good. Food indifferent. I was charged for a more expensive wine than I had. Worst meal ever at cote. We eat regularly at Cote Highgate, St Albans and central London and always lovely. We won't go back to Amersham even though it's our closest branch.

Visiting the Cote in Amersham always reminds us of our many happy times in France. The service is friendly and efficient but unpretentious. The cuisine is consistently good and excellent value. This visit was no exception and we will be returning again soon.

As usual the food, service and ambience were excellent. The person who served us, Sofia, was attentive and helpful and all her colleagues seemed equally on the ball. Côte Brasserie is a beacon of excellence to the restaurant community.

Great menu with lots of quality food to choose from (although possibly less for vegetarians). Very friendly service. I had the 10 year anniversary menu which was very reasonably priced.

Always buzzy (and busy) atmosphere and very good food. I had set lunch menu - good value and my friend loved her Veal Escalope - though I think it should have had some sort of veg. with it without having to choose a side dish. Lovely desserts. Our only gripe is that service charge is automatically added to the bill - not a practice we appreciate - we like to decide what tip we are giving - which is what we did. But aside from that I always enjoy visiting Cote in Amersham - very friendly staff.

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was well cooked and tasty. As we were there early we ate from the early evening menu which offered a good range of choices.

Outstanding service tonight! Food was delicious, and although we had the three course set menu ( one more course than usual) we did not feel overfull!Highly recommended.

We had a superb full English breakfast with excellent service for a very reasonable price. The restaurant has a lovely relaxing ambience in a delightful position.

We love going out to Cotes. We always feel we are so well looked after and food is always delicious! Lovely buzzy atmosphere - it is perfect if going as a couple or in a large group!

Well organised, good food and lovely staff. Our table was ready, the brunch menu explained and just enough deciding time allowed. Food water and drinks came promptly and was delicious.

As always, excellent service and excellent food. If there are only 2 of you you need to try and sit at the front as it is impossibly noisy at the back with large parties, so often of noisy women.

Everything about the meal went well. Made most welcome and served delicious food at a great price. Friends greatly impressed and I'm sure we will be returning soon.

Lovely friendly staff, good service and a tasty dinner on our recent visit to Côte Amersham. I like that Côte is reliably consistent with its quality of food and service.

Our visit to Cote in Amersham started very well. A friendly welcome and very tasty starters from the anniversary menu. Our main course steaks were ok too; perfectly cooked but the beef was lacking a little in flavour. However it all went wrong after we ordered desserts. The staff lost interest and wandered off. After two reminders the desserts arrived and the crepes were very poor. Like cardboard at the edge and soggy in the middle, obviously they had been left standing for a long time. When we were finished we had to get up and find a staff member at the back of the restaurant to bring our bill. Had the staff been more attentive at the end of the evening our meal would have got full marks in this review. As it was it did not justify the 12.5 percent service charge that Cote add to the bill.

Excellent! Made to feel very welcome. Fantastic flavour to the food and staff loomed after us well, while taking on board we were there for a lunch.

Very poor dining experience. We were a family of four on a special occasion. We ordered two different types of nibbles to start with and only received one. We ordered 3 starters and only one had any real taste. The main course included two Rib Eye steaks which bore no resemblance to each other and looked like very different cuts of meat. We returned one of the steaks then gave up as the steak that came back out was rubbery and ridged. We ordered a different dish by which time the rest of the family had finished their main course. A very disjointed meal and received an overcharged bill at the end.

food good, restaurant good, service not good. bread olives and wine served at same time as first course, waiter attempted to serve coffee before sweet course.

Very good meal and good value for money. Service very prompt and attentive. Only complaint is the noise - the restaurant was very busy and the noise level was high. Despite this we will certainly visit again soon.

Authentic French cuisine, Saturday night busy so you need to book. Delicious meal and kir royale all round for a birthday treat from Cote- much appreciated.

Very good service. They took the trouble to look up for food sensitivities on the menu, as one of our party has a sensitivity to garlic. Will definitely go again.

The restaurant was very noisy, and needs acoustic tiling on the ceiling to absorb the sound. The food was good as usual, but my rib eye steak was not cooked to 'medium' as requested, being medium rare on one side, and also rather gristly.

Food, value and service was great. The only downside was that 2 of the deserts were sold out and was only 8 pm when we ordered.

The meals for both of us were excellent although the service was a bit slow at times, but the staff were profuse in their apologies. Although they didn't give a reason for the delay there were a lot of customers inside and outside the restaurant.

Well one of the dishes was wrong. But withour any fuss (from either side!) they changed it. Sadly it wasn't much better so they quite voluntarily struck it off the bill and were quite charming and apologetic. We will be going back, for sure.

We enjoyed the special 10 year anniversary menu, great value and tasty food. The restaurant is always busy, particularly so last night; the poor staff were rushed off their feet. We didn't mind the wait because we were enjoying the evening, however we do feel the management should look after the staff better and recruit a few more.

We enjoyed the food and service. It was quite noisy! I booked online, which was very straightforward. We enjoyed the complimentary Kir Royales for my birthday.

Excellent 3 course meal , could not fault the service, quantity, quality or price - easily the best go to resturant in Amersham. Thank you Cote of Amersham
