Service excellent. Our granddaughter 's 7th birthday and she was made to feel special. I had Breton chicken, suburb flavour. All satisfied with choices. Fish stew excellent also.

Food was very good. Service good too. Easy place to go to, no fuss, excellent venue. Good place for couples or families too. Staff attentive and very pleasant. Would definitely go there again.

We turned up with very limited time before a Chiltern Arts concert in the nearby church of St Mary's, and stressed our need for haste. We were advised that the minute steak was a good option (logically, if you think about it!), and it arrived with all speed, especially considering how bustling the place was: properly cooked and tasty, too, with very good crisp fries (as I must learn to call chips, it seems!) and washed down with a very decent bottle of Chinon. The timings worked perfectly, and we wished to give a particular word of praise to our waitress: friendly, efficient, interested. All in all, there was a good buzz from the service, and we received attentive checks from several members of staff - not obtrusively.

Had a very enjoyable meal this lunchtime at Cotes in Amersham. The food was very good as usual service excellent. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I met up with a group of friends. We had lovely food and the staff we friendly and gave us plenty of time to catch up and chat without pushing us to order. A good evening out.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote Brasserie in Amersham old town, because, although the noise level can be a bit daunting from other diners, the food and service has always been of a high standard . Cote is also situated near the main car park which is very convenient and the several guests whom we have dined with us have also enjoyed the experience very much.

We had great evening: buzzy atmosphere, delightful service and delicious food. And it was excellent value. We have already booked again and are looking forward to coming back

I think there was a slight mix up as we were given a glass of bubbles and told 'happy birthday' when it was neither of our birthdays and we were on the autumn bottle of wine special...akward!

The food was tasty, very hot and fresh. The staff were excellent and attentive. The Plaice melted in my mouth and the peach crumble was delicious. Will most definitely be back.

Delicious french food. Great place for all the family. Rib eye steak was delicious as was the goats cheese starter. Daughter loved her sea bass with fennel and the chocolate fondant was enjoyed by all. We had the set menu which included a glass of champagne which was good value and welcoming

Lovely evening meal. Staff were attentive and looked after us well. Food was great. Would have been a six star, but error on the order meant I couldn't, however how they rectified the issue was well handled, hence the 5stars.

First class service from Côte Amersham. An incident in the back was handled perfectly with the restaurant evacuated calmly and then our bill was waived.

Great meal, great ambience, lovely polite staff. Would have given it 6 stars if they hadn't run out of crumble which was a minor disappointment. Otherwise as good as ever and amazing value - early bird special price with a bottle of Prosecco added on £22 a head.

Excellent food, friendly staff but not enough - they were were run off their feet. We had long waits to order food. Lovely atmosphere when we arrived at 6:30 but as the restaurant filled the noise from the diners at the adjacent table became so unbearable we had to move tables. The staff were very understanding and moved up to a lovely peaceful table where we enjoyed our dessert.

My Friend and I have used Cote many times normally on a Sunday the food has always been good and we are usually happy with our visit. Today we were given a table which was fine until a very large group arrived right behind us unfortunately the group was very loud (celebrating a birthday) but we could hardly hear ourselves speak. Next time I will request a table near the front of the Resterant now I know parties are seated at the rear. The staff are perfect and very helpful.

Service was very slow. Clearly under staffed. This was disappointing as standard is normally better. We ordered tap water to start with and we're told it was complimentary! I should think do!

Once again a lovely menu choice on the Anniversary menu. We took our Australian friends who are visiting us and they thought the whole meal and ambience of the restaurant was excellent. Good quality & Great value for money.

I love the food, it is tasty, freshly prepared and offers enough variety to satisfy most tastes and needs. The ambiance is excellent but what I like the most is the attentive, efficient service always provided with a smile. A real must when dining informally in Old Amersham.

Welcomed on arrival at front of house. Food ingredients quality good. Cooked to our liking. Ambience relaxing. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We were acknowledged on departure.

We had a wonderful evening at the Amersham branch of Cotes. We chose from the Anniversary Menu thereby receiving a complementary glass of Champagne. There was not one item on this menu that we would not have happily chosen. Of course we had to choose and we were rewarded with a brilliant meal. The meal was enhanced by excellent service throughout. A special mention must go to the Manager who made sure everything ran smoothly everybody performed to their best. We will return again soon.

Great atmosphere and although my favourite dish was not on the menu this visit, Hash Parmentier ( like a posh cottage pie, yummy) what I had was the Fish Parmentier which was very delicious. Only slight downfall was the low ceiling in the alcove where we were seated which turned out to be very noisy and hot, however will never stop me going back. My friends also loved it. I booked on line and it was so easy.
