We had a very enjoyable evening.The service was good and the atmosphere lively.The starters and my main meal were excellent, my partner had lamb which he said was a little tough.Otherwise we had pleasant evening and would recommend it.

Took 40 minutes to get the food we ordered. One dish was terrible so sent back. Haven't been for a long time and it will be a while before we go back. Was so good when it opened, why don't they have enough kitchen staff to cope with the demands of a busy restaurant?

Lovely food and great service. Didn’t rush us but gave us just the right amount of time to eat chat and move on to the next course.

Very good food, shame that veal is no longer on the menu, nice wine, attentive service. Well done!will certainly come again and my guests were impressed too. Parking is a problem in old Amersham. Sadly!

Had a really enjoyable meal from the early bird menu, good service. Will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future!, definitely recommend.

Set lunch is really good value and the choices were varied. The service was okay without being overcattentive. Our group will be back in January.

The staff were friendly, gave us a choice of tables and were alert to the fact that we had complimentary Kir Royales, on showing out tickets for a local concert. The service was efficient, the food very pleasant and nicely presented. On leaving, many staff members wished us an enjoyable concert. All in all, an excellent way to start the evening, with value-for -money meals.

The staff were very attentive from the minute we walked in. Pre-dinner drinks arrived very promptly. Food was excellent. Great thing about Cote for us is that you know the food is going to be good.

Service was extremely slow and it took twenty minutes to even get some drinks and it wasn’t that busy. Eggs were also undercooked and toast was cold

Good service and well presented food in a great location in one of Old Amersham’s oldest buildings. Good selection of wines and drinks - highly recommended!

Nothing wrong and everything right when we had an early dinner here - service was excellent, food top-rate and price very reasonable. This restaurant is certainly worthy of its place in Old Amersham.

The waiter gave excellent service and the food was super. We would have given 6 but for the fact they had no Coq au vin😔. Highly recommended.

The food was good. We were a party of 3 and we all easily found something we liked from the Lunchtime 2 course meal. Courses not huge but they were as much as we wanted at a lunchtime. The service was prompt snd friendly. Overall tasty and good value for money.

Friendly welcome and throughout from all staff, but erratic service, rather noisy Friday lunchtime, even though in an apparently quieter area of the restaurant, but with very nice food at a good price. Staff took the coffees off our bill because we had to wait a while at times - a nice gesture freely given, thank you. Yes, we would go again, but might try a time when it may be less busy - otherwise recommended.

Usual good service. Ribeye steak was well cooked but rather bland and tasteless. Frites were excellent as were the two desserts crème caramel and brulee

Had to send back my duck main course ----------- was so undercooked it was inedible----------- second time round though was fine-------- why couldn't the chef do it properly first time!

Great food, good service, pleasant surroundings, reasonable pricing. Menu choices good and reasonably priced, extras are expensive so the bill mounts up. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Food good as usual; service unusually a bit slow and haphazard. There didn't seem to be anyone supervising - staff were often standing around when tables required serving.

Dinner for 4: very good brasserie food, as is usual, but also as is usual it seemed that the kitchen could not keep pace with the requirements of effective service. Good friendly staff but on the borderline of yet another formal complaint. Alan Jones

Enjoyable light lunch, good menu choice. Lovely waiter, good service with a smile which makes such a difference. Pleasant atmosphere, would happily eat here again.

The restaurant was very busy but that didn't effect the level of service from the staff. Everyone was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Will be returning.

Booking was easy, staff attentive and food exactly what we wanted at lunchtime. Tasty and delicious. I'd like vegetables included in the meal not as an optional extra but that doesn't happen often these days.

Buzzy, pleasant atmosphere. Duck a little chewy and cherry sauce a little too sour. Need some healthier dessert options and a broader range of soft drinks.

A happier experience than on a previous visit. This time the service was much more efficient and the food was excellent. We sat cosily in a corner next to a window, well away from a large and understandably noisy group, so it was all very pleasant. Linda L

Overall experience very good. We had the set lunch menu which we thought was very good value for money and great choice. It was my mum's 91st birthday celebration and she enjoyed it very much. Service and food excellent
