Côte Amersham

Poor service. Ordered wine which took a long time to come. It was complimentary and had to ask for it 3 times. Since it was complimentary one wonders if they wanted to serve it to us.

The food was great, the service was friendly and we qualified for a free bottle of wine as part of a June promotion so we were very happy!

Great food and service as usual. Surely the best chain for coeliacs. Most items either are or can br adapted to be GF. Keep it up

Very good meal, excellent service, nice atmosphere. It's a great place for a girly lunch and the menu is extensive. We did the basic set lunch which, with a glass of wine each plus service, was 45 pounds. Good value for posh Amersham.

We had a truly lovely evening celebrating my daughters 13th birthday, the staff were great and made her feel really grown up and even brought out a surprise pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday, really special. The food was excellent and the general atmosphere lovely.

We had a very enjoyable family meal. The food was, as usual, of excellent quality and the wine too was very good. Service was good.

Good choice of dishes, and extremely helpful staff. And as I swallowed a fishbone, they were happy to give me bread to chew on too!

Party of 3. We all had good food, the service at the Amersham restaurant is always exemplary and the free bottle of wine from my monthly email offer was very nice. Thank you for a lovely evening. x

Amersham Cote is our restaurant of choice as the staff always are pleasant, the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. They also have a good gluten free menu.

Our food was good as always. I’ve never known Cote to have an ’off’ day with it. Service varies a bit from branch to branch, but in Amersham it was fast and efficient, and our waiter was very cheerful and pleasant, making it a good evening for us.

Very reasonably priced set menu. Small portions but just right for lunch. Service was efficient & friendly. The restaurant was much bigger than it looked from outside so our table of six was not close to any other diners

Great meeting place for 7 people for brunch- food choices and value excellent- service brilliant- overall a good place for meeting people and to eat Well

We were very happy to celebrate a birthday lunch (after we changed tables to a quieter table / the first table was very near to a noisy food serving area). We must compliment the staff for their kind attention during our meal. The food was outstanding and we plan to visit again soon.

Lovely food, a good table, and excellent staff. This is a difficult place to fault. As an added bonus England were playing Tunisia, so really very quiet!

Service Charge is noted on the bill (which is great)however having received a complimentary bottle of wine as a Rewards member and with excellent service on such a busy lunch-time a further 10% was added for the staff.

Good service and lovely food in a lively restaurant. Cote offers good value for money. The staff in the Amersham restaurant are helpful and efficient.

Had a lovely Father’s Day meal here tonight. The service has been the best we’ve had here. Great that they have listened to feedback and improved!

food was excellent, atmosphere relaxing. free bottle of wine - we were upgraded as the rose on offer was sold out. only negative point was that it appears on our bill, but was very swiftly taken off again when we noticed it.

The staff we courteous, polite and the food was good. My only concern was due to the large number of diners, service a little slow at times.

We normally have a very good meal but to-day my beef was well over cooked. We had to wait a long time, the service was not good, but this is unusual. We will be back on Sunday. We think Cote is great.

Good, attentive service in an attractive brasserie. Very friendly staff and most knowledgeable. The food was goos but the french beans were somewhat al dente. The Maitre d' was advised and did not appear unduly concerned. Despite this, we enjoyed our meal and will return.

Great atmosphere, if a little noisy. Staff always friendly and helpful. Always an excellent choice of dishes and puddings. I sent my congratulations to the Chef. I hope he received them.

It was a bit Noisy. A couple of the steaks were tough. One of us ordered omelette and it looked like plastic and was rubbery.

Amersham is Best Cote The maitre’d welcoming and sorted out the problem with our starter. It overall has a good choice of food and wine.

Great atmosphere and service, wonderful food. Only downside was when paying (by cash), bearing in mind the 12.5% service charge, and the waitress asked "do you want me to bring your change".

Restaurant was busy when we arrived but the staff coped extremely well. The service and the quality of food was first class. Thanks for a great evening.

Service was friendly an efficient ,manager was welcoming and attentive,the food was well prepared ,interesting and enjoyable-all in all a very pleasant experience. Well done!

Lovely! Great food, and service, really good value and a nice location. I can recommend the goats cheese salad, the chicken and the creme caramel!

We had an excellent meal with very attentive staff. My only slight quibble was that the water in the stone jars was luke warm but easily rectified with some ice. Altogether a very nice evening out and we can’t wait for a Côte restaurant to come to Beaconsfield!

We always enjoy our visits to Cote. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is totally chilled. We will be returning.

Had a lovely meal with a friend who surprised us with a celebration, relaxed atmosphere, great staff and most enjoyable food. A leisurely time was had by all. We will be back.

Best meal I've had anywhere for a long time. Couldn't fault it. Food beautifully prepared and presented. Service calm and unruffled. Terrific vfm. Would return without hesitation.

My husband's 'fish pie' was quite dry, but all the other food was delicious. The service was timely and courteous and there was a good atmosphere .

Amazing food as always at Cote. Really good staff and we were offered a complimentary glass of Champagne each to celebrate their 10th birthday of the restaurant being open.

Food great - service a bit hit and miss - no salt/pepper on table and after getting the bill quickly after I requested it , then had to wait 15mins to get the attention of someone to bring a card machine! Overall though a nice mid week evening meal.

Reliably consistent good food and service with a menu in keeping with the season. Excellent lunch in pleasant surroundings. One of my favourite restaurants for lunch.

Friendly welcoming staff. High quality food. Great calamari. We took granddaughter for birthday treat and she was rewarded with a birthday candle on her pudding and the singing of Happy Birthday. All round enjoyable.

Food quality was excellent, service was a touch erratic, still eating starters when main brought to the table! Given dessert menus and then returned within 1.5 minutes to ask for order, then had to wait 20 minutes to give order. Otherwise very good, just took the shine off it for me

Good choice of menu options. Enjoyed the two course early evening set menu which was excellent, good atmosphere. Service is very good, would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable. Good service. Average food. Calamari not massively flavoursome. Rib eye cooked ok but not greatest meat. Minute steak better on previous visits. Not exciting

Things started off well but my friend was given totally the wrong chicken main course. They did try to make amends by bringing a dish of peas and also by not charging for her meal. However it rather detracted from the experience as we felt the staff were rushed and not really listening properly and it is hard for them to remember orders correctly perhaps. As we were celebrating my birthday it was a bit disappointing overall. However, I am going to give Cote one more chance and choose different food as I thought the decor and ambience were good.
