We went for breakfast and the choice on the menu was good. The service was good and the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere.

Visited Cote Amersham last week & unusually it was a disappointing experience on this occasion. The food was good but the service was poor & it was extremely noisy in the restaurant. I go there frequently, so hopefully I will not be so dissatisfied next time

we are regulars so no problems - last night our dutch waiter was excellent very attentive

Everything was fine, sometimes there was a fairly long wait, especially for the dessert, but as it was mother's day, it is understandable.

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Cote Amersham. We have become accustomed to the excellent value for money, excellent food, ambiance and polite, cheerful staff. A reliable restaurant for excellence all round. Thank you.

We were welcomed warmly into the Restaurant and luckily were shown to our favourite seat. It was mothers day so very busy but service was excellent and with a smile!

Waited a while for our drinks & food orders to be taken. 1 of the meals was forgotten. This item was deducted from our bill.

The noise was the downside, that and th fact that we were seated alongside what was obviously a main throughway, which caused some problems for a member of our party who has mobility problems and could not move fast!

As always the dining experience was superb and great value for money

The food was good but the waitresss made a fuss about which menu we ordered from and didn’t want to mix and match. It was also freezing in our section of the restaurant and we were told there was nothing that could be done. I wore my coat for the last hour. We were not offered another table somewhere warmer. Overall a bit disappointing

Good food but service was a little slow to start although the staff responded positively when asked.

We arrived on time and had our drinks and ordered our food all within 15 minutes, great we thought as we had children to be collected from schools which were an hour away! BUT we then waited 40 minutes for the food all of which were straight forward off the menu. We did get an apology after 30 minutes saying they were very busy and had some large parties in!! We were offered drinks but didn’t have the time to enjoy the meal or the drinks!!! Not up to your usual standard and I have been a number of times with friends and I was rather upset by today’s experience!!

Great service and delicious food as always. Got a bay window table which was very spacious and pleasant. Would recommend the lunch menu.

Despite having booked we were given a table ai the back of the restaurant in corner table next to a four table- so we had great difficulty in being able to talk to each other. Should we visit Amersham again we would book a table in the front of the restaurant. The meal was very good as always.

Enjoyed the meal, but it was noise and rather cramped with 3 of us on one side of the table

A very quiet evening. Service was poor. Waiter couldn't remember who ordered what; spilled coffee and didn't really attend to the table well. More training required.

Very good service and quality as usual. Recommended for anyone looking to eat in Old Amersham at a reasonable price with a good choice of menu.

Had a very nice lunch with friends yesterday. We ordered from the set menu which was good though I didn't think that so much rocket was an appropriate accompaniment to the sea bream I had. The fennel & blood orange salad ( the other accompaniment ) was delicious.

Disappointing ... tuna salad came over cooked, having requested the opposite but was told for food safety reasons it has to be cooked medium rare but it was actually served medium well. Requested a main portion of a starter and was told no problem only to be served a starter portion. Better places in Amersham

Early evening menu is good never rushed staff pleasant and always seem to be interested in you and food was excellent will be returning again soon

Great meal and atmosphere, as always. Friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Food right through to the boiling hot coffee always of the highest standard.

Had a very good meal , tasty food, friendly staff. Plenty of choice from various menus . We had the three course early evening one, most enjoyable.

Felt sorry for the staff, far too few if them. They did a good job but obviously under a lot of pressure which resulted in a very slow service.
