Went for a quiet lunch with my boyfriend. Service was excellent and food was fab!

Great food in a good atmosphere. The usual impeccable service was marred by delays in getting the dessert served so some of our party had to leave without dessert. Minor complaint really as overall it was a great experience. Stuart Pearson

Great quality food and the staff were all so attentive helping us celebrate a birthday a 82nd birthday. A great place to celebrate. We asked for a window table which helped create a private area. Thank you to all the staff.

Visited with friends on 18th November for lunch. Restaurant busy but service was good & food excellent.

Had a pleasant time doing brunch at Cote Amersham with toddler in tow. Child-friendly bay window table meant the adults get a few moments of peace eating whilst child look out the window.

The lunch time menu was excellent this month. The chicken was really tasty.

Friendly reception; perfect service; splendid gluten-free menu; delicious food; wonderful coffee; small bill.

Very good as always, but service from the kitchen was very slow. Lack of staff? We were a group of 5 so lots of chatting so not a big problem. However a couple would have found it difficult and probably complained. Nice to have the complimentary kir royale as a birthday treat.

All good but quite a long wait for food. It was very crowded on a Friday lunchtime!

Another lovely time at Cote but 3 of us had the battered steak off the menu up to 7.0 PM and it was way off the usual standard. Other than that great with super service.

When I booked the meal I wrote that it was to celebrate my grandson Will’s 20th birthday. There was no reference to this by any of the staff the whole time we were there. I thought something with a candle would be brought out at some point. Nothing! Very disappointing. I had the ling-cod, Which was very nice but the vegetables were disappointing. I had also said that 2, later 3, of my guests were vegan, but we had to ask for the special menu, and the vegan options were limited. The waiter was excellent.

Such lovely food and superb staff. Great ambience and although we were unavoidably delayed we still got our table. Great personal service. Well done!

Very noisy at evening times specially through the back section

Very busy. When arrived our table wasn’t ready. Went away for half an hour and came back. Sat down but waited 20 mins before any one came to ask for drinks !! Eventually ordered bread. Came AFTER our main meal ! Service dreadful. Table booked for 7.30 and started our meal at 8.45. Much too late for a couple that can’t eat late hence booked early. Not very happy although food was ok

Overall good service and good food. Seems to be a problem when redeeming offer for free drink. Booked through this channel and pressed button but told could not have the free drink!

Kitchen problems. We waited 50 minutes for breakfast, not all the food came out at the same time, so some of us had to wait an extra 10 minutes for food. We also ordered some extra sides which went missing and then had to be redone by the kitchen.

Lovely complementary Prosecco for my birthday which was a nice touch . Food always delicious with attentive staff . Just love Cote ! The monthly specials are always a great addition to the menu

Really nice restaurant, bigger than I thought and will definately be coming back. However, some of the items ordered did arrive cold but due to being on a time limit we didnt say anything - would be nice though for cooked food to be hot/warm at the table

Good food and good service. What is not to like?

My wife and I use the Cote Restaurents quite regularly, this visit was not good, we had to ask for a menu, after sitting waiting for at least 10 minutes, the food finally arrived after another long wait and my steak was poor. We are unlikely to use the Amersham Cote again, until we forget it was that bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a fan of cotes but tonight was disappointing. Wrong steaks given to us.. carrots were cold. Cam-beret starter was poor..

Having booked last night we were given a table in a really lovely spot on the sunny window. The waiter was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We love the fact Cote has a full vegetarian menu. The ravioli with butternut squash was the nicest dish I have had for a while. Can’t fault a thing.

Another enjoyable meal. Staff welcoming, attentive and food good. We visit regularly and have never been disappointed.

The restaurant says it can do gluten free but is totally incapable of producing gluten free toast on time. Three failures out of three attempts is very poor. Onion soup used to be my favourite but portion appears to be shrinking and it is overpriced.
